I LOVE Dr. Worstman! I have hated the dentist for as long as I can remember and since becoming old enough to not be forced to go by my folks, have avoided them as much as possible. I have horror stories, but not with Dr. Worstman! A friend recommended I go see her. It was the first time IN MY LIFE I have went to the dentist and had NO PAIN! Barb was my hygienist who also was amazing. No pain during the cleaning, no pain during the x-​rays. I was amazed. I had cavities and had to go get fillings. PAIN FREE! Even when they give you the numbing stuff with a needle it didn’t hurt! How is that possible?! The office has tv’s above the chairs that you can watch while they do their stuff too, so that is nice, something to focus on other than the ceiling.
After the initial visit and exam Dr. Worstman has you come back in for a meeting where she goes over all your x-​rays and shows you whats going on and explains what happening in your mouth. And explains about the cost of treatment. Amazing! She even had an answer for me for why I always have cavities and a solution to stop them. (Side note, when I went back for my 6 month cleaning, no cavities! 1^st time ever in my life!)
Her office staff is super too. I have a crazy schedule and they were awesome about working with me. Tina especially was super great.
Needless to say I will be coming back to her for forever. I am so happy to have found a pain free dentist. Please go see her if you also are a hater of going to the dentist. You can thank me later.
Oh, and ask for the cookie dough toothpaste for your cleaning. :-)
And 1 other thing:
I had crazy jaw surgery when I was 15 and have 2 steel plates in my mouth. Usually a dentist never notices the scars inside my mouth, or asks about them, rather they are super shocked by the x-​ray and shout «Whoa! What’s that?» Not Dr. Worstman, she noticed right away that something was up in my mouth and asked why I’d had surgery. Again, amazing. She is the only one ever to have noticed, asked, and knew what was going on.
