I took my cat in for a nail clipping, and was in and out in about 5 minutes. Service is walk-​in, which is nice! No complaints.

Our jack chi’s nails were tragically long and looked like they were really starting to cause problems this week. In crazy dog-​mom panic, I rushed him in right before they closed with the vague explanation that he’s incredibly anxious when he gets his nails cut (we usually have to get him sedated, thus the reason they were so long in the first place). The two gals working (I’m sorry I didn’t get their names) were so calm, sweet, and patient with him. They were able to cut his nails in record time AND shorter than we’ve even had them trimmed, even when he’s sedated at the vet. I have never been more pleased! I only wish they were open on the weekends (even just one day please???)
I found their pricing incredibly reasonable and am very excited to have them just down the street. We’ll be bringing our puggle next week!

Pricey, but so is Seattle. Despite the high price, though, my 70 lb labradoodle looks and smells amazing and I know he was in good hands the roughly 7 hours he was there. He’s been getting groomed probably on average 4 – 5 times a year for his 9 years of existence (not in Seattle) and the quality cut and attention he got here was top notch considering it was his first visit. But boy is it pricey. Can’t afford it 4 – 5 times here!

Six hours. That’s how long they spent grooming my skittish rescue in tolerable shifts (tolerable to the dog). These are kind, animal-​oriented people. Talk to Holly.

Victoria and crew have provided my family’s pets (4 dogs of various breeds & sizes) two decades of great haircuts. We could not have asked for a better cut/​style or service. I am speaking for my mom, my aunt, and myself when I say this. Victoria is incredibly accommodating with my schedule which is not easy to work with. I run a pet care business myself and so I refer all my clients here, and often bring the dogs to their appointments. Everyone I know gushes about the results, especially clients with dogs who are prone to matting — Victoria is a coat whisperer. She does seasonal cuts, cuts per your request, a style that fits your dog’s personality, and the cutest neck scarf to top it all off! There is no comparison to Looking Good in Greater Seattle! Thank you Victoria, Holly, & Looking Good.

Very happy to bring my fluffy australian shepherd to Looking Good for grooming. He is a nervous and tentative pooch, and they treat him incredibly well.

I took my cairn terrier here twice, the first time they cut his hair in what I can describe as a Scottie style– cost was reasonable. The second time I took him, I brought several pictures, and described the cut I wanted – same bad cut!!! And the price was $ 75. Have not gone back again

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience for both my dog and I. Talk about a NIGHTMARE of a day at this salon. I still look at these ratings and am shocked at how amazing their reviews are especially since a good friend of mine referred us to this salon. Now I wish she hadn’t… I took my frenchie into this salon yesterday and I will admit she is a bit of a wild child and gets overly excited to see people which is exactly why I do not cut my pups nails in the first place and take her to a professional. However, these people are NOT professionals. They clipped 3 of her nails way too short which ended in a lot of Unilocaling and blood. I even had to return for them to surgically glue one of her nails closed and wrap it because I could not get the bleeding to stop 20 minutes later… The thing that irritates me the most is yes they were apologetic however never once during this fiasco did they offer to remove the charge for butchering my dogs nails
I normally never post terrible reviews and try to see the good in all. However, I feel people should know exactly what they are walking into when they come to this groomer…

I absolutely love taking our dog here! We have a 90 pound German Shepherd, still can be a wild puppy at 1 ½ years old. They completely «get» bigger dogs here, especially GSDs. Victoria and the staff are friendly, straight forward and well priced. Our pup always leaves happy & clean. They make him feel comfortable and I know he’s treated well.

I honestly had to try to think of a reason NOT to give 5 stars and I couldn’t.so there you go!
Victoria has been nothing but professional and kind to us and our kitty. We were able to make an appointment easily and it was a great value ($ 40 for short-​hair, no frills groom). Victoria is so confident and gentle with our 5 year old cat. This is not a pet «spa», it’s a small local business, where they do all the stuff you don’t want to, like bathing and nail trimming. I’m perfectly happy with our experience.

Victoria and the staff at Looking Good are fabulous. My pup is always perfectly groomed (that is, when I can stay on schedule with regular spots!). Customer service is wonderful and always a pleasure. Thank you Victoria!

My cats were matted and out of control. She is a miracle worker, after chasing my new-​to-​me cats around with a brush and comb– One visit and they look like different cats! So clean, so soft! Perfect and professional and helpful with tips for grooming!

The owner was very professional and she did a good job grooming my cat. It was a great experience for me and my cat.

I discovered Looking Good a few years ago after I spent a boatload of money on a groomer who came to my house to groom my long haired kitty. It was a great experience but way too costly to do regularly. After searching around I tried Looking Good and have never had a bad experience. My cat comes out clean, relaxed, always looks cuter than cute in his bandana and quickly adopts that ‘I’m all that and a bag of nip” strut. He loves his haircuts and his personality even gets flirtier, lol!
Once his whiskers had been trimmed on the left side. When I asked about it, Victoria quickly apologized and explained that my cat had sneezed while she was trimming around his face. She knew it looked a little funky but it was better than the alternative of the other side and risking his safety because they rely on their whiskers. They grew back, no harm done. The worst thing about kitty spa day is that he smells so good to me, but my other cats don’t recognize him based on his smell and we have to go through a week or two of hissy ‘who’s that cat’ drama before they all re-​acclimate.
I’m a big fan and would never hesitate to recommend them. In fact I often grab a stack of business cards and pass them out to friends.

I almost didn’t bring my cat here because of the strange one star reviews. All I can say is: don’t believe them. This place is great. The owner is nice. I don’t know what people expect on the other end of other shops– but they must receive some type of fanfare, rose petals & love poems– because nothing was off here. She did great work. Loved up my cat with some grooming– so everyone wins.
I am pumped that she also offers repeat claw trimming at 5 $ a pop if you call ahead.
Normally I wouldn’t trim her claws– but we went from our hard wood floored home back east to a wall to wall carpeted 2^nd floor town house & someone is having a field day on those rugs!
(obviously the cat is happier than I, about this change is flooring… womp womp)

Wow… I called for an appointment, didn’t even go in, and I already don’t like them. You would think when someone calls to ask questions about using your business that you would put your best food forward. This place does not subscribe to that notion. It seemed as though I was a bother for calling to book an appt. I asked what she charged and let her know what I normally get done, I mentioned that I used to take my dogs to Bark N Style but she was much closer to me so I thought I would try her. Ready for her response? She barked at me «I charge a lot more than Bark N Style». Nuff said. Bark N Style is worth the ride to avoid this place.

I called Looking Good Grooming to schedule an appointment for my small dog. The woman who answered the phone didn’t listen to my request for a Saturday appointment and tried to schedule me for two different weekday appointments. When I tried to explain that I work in Bellevue and can’t make it in weekdays, she cut me off with a sigh and offered a Saturday appointment nearly 3 weeks away.
After the appointment was confirmed, she curtly said, «Why don’t you find another groomer.»
So I did. Thank you for saving me the misery of having to meet you in person.

Based on a friend’s recommendation, we recently started taking our pooches to Looking Good for their monthly grooming to save a few bucks and a lot of time trekking into the heart of Magnolia where we had been going.
It’s your basic, no frills pet grooming. The dogs go in stinky and dirty and come out odor free and clean. That’s pretty much all there is to it.
I’d agree with other reviewers about the customer service being a little gruff, but it’s hardly rude and there is a marked difference between interacting by phone versus in person.
But I’m not paying to get good phone, I’m paying to get clean dogs relatively close to home and so far Looking Good has been coming through at a reasonable price.
