This is a great place for soccer matches. We get scheduled here once in a while by GSSL for our league matches and the pitch is always clean and pretty well maintained. We’ve even had a few training sessions here and when the fields are full, there are plenty of grassy areas to just train on the side. This is a great public playfield for the city.

I love lower woodland park as it has so many options all in one spot. There is a skate park, tennis courts, softball, and soccer field all in one place. Everything is kept up well, and it is in a great location.

This park is much nicer since it’s been redone with turf. Its got quite a bit of stuff, from a track, to softball fields, soccer fields, skate park, bike park, tennis courts, dog park, etc. I mostly come here for the soccer and sometimes to run the track. My biggest complaint is that it is a little difficult to figure out what # the fields are. The parking lot can also be a little tight and crowded. Additional parking can be found up near the tennis courts, if you are not familiar. Its also nice to have some real bathrooms here, which many soccer fields do not have.

I’ve been coming here to get my game on every Sunday, from April to October for the last 3 years now, and it’s always been awesome! Most of the time, I’m playing softball, but occasionally I’ll play a game of kickball. The fields are definitely the best Underdog fields in the city; well maintained, lights at night, and pretty deep fences for smackin’ some HRs. There’s always a game or 4 going on, so if you’re waiting to play yours, have a sit and be entertained by the kickball, softball, baseball, or soccer games on any of the fields. The bathrooms are always well maintained and on busy summer days, there’s concessions. If you’re gonna play sports in this city, this is where you’re gonna want to do it.
