Lucy’s Beauty Bar

Stopped by the salon because it was close to where we were staying in Seattle met with Whitney Larios she did amazing job with my boyfriends thinning hair. staff was nice and friendly, I highly recommend this salon for any of your beauty needs.

Last Friday I turned 40 and chose to give myself a gift from Lucy’s Beauty Bar based upon Unilocal reviews. Since I found them on Unilocal,I figured I would write my first review. I had a relaxing and fun day!
My day began with Whitney quickly styling my hair in an updo that remained in place throughout the day and late into the night! Although I forgot to bring in pictures of what I wanted, Whitney was able to give me ideas and different options that we could do. My hair is straight, thick, & oftentimes difficult to keep styled. Whitney had no problem putting my hair up and keeping it in place. I appreciated the fact that she wanted to make sure I was happy and offered to make changes if I wanted.
Next, Terese did my makeup, nails, & toenails. My makeup was amazing! I had never wore temporary fake eyelashes before Terese used them that day, it made my eyes really stand out. She was happy to use colors that I liked and make changes if I wanted. My nails are beyond what I expected! There are so many options to choose from! Colors, stamps with a variety of designs, matte finish, crystals, etc… The polish she used is long lasting without the harsh damage some gels or other polishes can cause.
My whole experience was relaxing, fun, clean, thorough, affordable, & friendly. I’ve already told my mom that I will take her there. Try it! You will be HAPPY with your results!

Love my nails for the home opener this weekend! Lucy’s Beauty Bar is awesome & they have an amazing dealing going for Seahawk designed mani/​pedis right now. I’ve also had my lashes done here, they looked so natural, my eyes popped perfectly! Highly recommend!

Terese is the best! Today had a mani/​pedi and she took so much time with me to make sure it was all perfect. Not a fast procedure like I’m used to at other places. I received a wonderful hot stone massage on my legs and feet AND also arms and hands. It was magnificent and released a lot of stress from my body. My nails look great and my husband loves the «Seahawks Blue» I chose for my toes! Such great care and conversation — I look forward to coming back again and again!

I took advantage of the Seahawk special, and was THRILLED with the outcome! Terese did an amazing manicure with a relaxing hot stone massage that left my cuticles and skin feeling incredible, and then she wrapped it up with a super fun creative Seahawk manicure that I got to design myself! I absolutely loved the pamper time, and Terese is wonderful company! I would absolutely recommend her and Lucy’s Beauty Bar!

My friend and I got our prom makeup done here and it completely blew our expectations out of the water. I couldn’t even imagine that I could wear makeup like that or that it could look as good as it did. I felt like a celebrity all night. In addition Terese was so nice and she had tons of experience doing makeup even for big name red carpet events with celebrities. The prices were also great, $ 50 per person, which is a bargain compared to the other places we were looking. Not to mention Lucys Beauty Bar was one of few places that could fit us in less than a week in advance. I could not have been more pleased. It was worth every penny and I was so glad when I got invited to another prom because I knew I would be able to get my makeup done here again.

Whitney is so easy to work with. I wanted a boost to my eyelashes but also wanted them to look somewhat natural for an upcoming photo shoot. She did such a fantastic job. They’re full, a bit longer and look fantastic. I also used Whitney for my wedding party and myself– I couldn’t of asked for anything more! I will use her and Terese for all of my beauty needs!

Whitney and Terese were so great. I did a lot of shopping around, looking for a hair and makeup team. What I was finding just seemed way over priced and I was THIS CLOSE to doing my own hair.
HOWEVER, I found Desert Glamour and they were awesome-​sauce. Their prices were the best I found for the package I wanted. When I contacted Whitney inquiring about her services she was prompt and thorough. When I did the trial, I was really impressed and communicated exactly what I wanted to tweak — I felt comfortable to do so!
Whitney also created a schedule to keep my bridesmaids on top of things and when I got to the house I was getting ready at, all my bridesmaids looked SO GREAT. They looked like themselves, but unique and formal hair and makeup — nothing too out of the ordinary or weird.
Prompt, efficient, good hair, good makeup and nice prices. You’re silly not to use Desert Glamour for your special day.

I was so happy to have found Desert Glamour for my destination wedding in Las Vegas. Whitney is nothing short of AMAZING.
Finding someone to trust with your beauty on your special day can be a daunting task, especially when you only have the internet’s reviews and pics to go by. If you are picky like me, and really finicky about style and makeup, it can be especially hard to give up control. Enter Whitney: I swear she is a mind-​reader. I showed her a few pics of some retro-​ish looks for the hair, and just basically told her what I wanted from the makeup, and she whipped up an amazing hybrid of perfection better than anything I had imagined or seen in the endless galleries of «inspiration» I had browsed prior to the wedding!
Whitney is also down-​to-​earth, professional, and extremely versatile. Her prices also provide an insane value for what you get (airbrush makeup is a MUST, especially in the Vegas heat & NO ONE beats Whitney’s price point for this service). Look no further for the best! You will not be disappointed! Thank you Whitney for making me feel beautiful and confident on my special day! You rock!

Whitney is a GURU when it comes to Bridal hair for our wedding day. She did my hair, my mom’s, mom in law, two sisters, and my best friend. We all love our hair. She brought another help with her to do our make up (sorry I forgot her name) which was done very well.
They called us when they were running late which was not their fault at all. There was a tragic shooting in front of Flamingo (where we stayed at) which caused traffic to backed up. They kept me on track with where they were and at the end of the day, we all got our hair and make up done on time with still some free time to spare :).
Their rate is really really really good and their service is top notch. Please use them for your wedding day, Whitney will help you to shape your wedding day to a mega awesome wedding day.

I just had my wedding this past weekend and they did my makeup and hair, along with my mom and bridal party. Whitney and the woman she had with her (forgot her name. Sorry) were great. I felt absolutely beautiful. The pricing was also very reasonable. I would recommend Desert Glamour to anyone!
