Delicious! We came Monday night for the 3 course farmers market special, which uses seasonal ingredients from the West Seattle Farmers market. My pork osso bucco was delicious. My boyfriend said that the French onion soup is thebest he’s had. It is one of the few places that I’d say is worth the price — the food was fresh, local and cooked exceptionally well, the service was great, and the view of Alki beach was wonderful. They were also very accommodating with my boyfriend’s food allergy. The location is kind of tricky– I think many beach goers aren’t looking for this type of dining. We will be back!

It’s the chef and staff from Cassis, reborn as Maree Bistro and Bar. Had a lovely dinner on their second night open. The onion soup was totally flavorful, the rabbit with mustard sauce was exquisite. My friends had steak frites, cow au vin and beef dumplings, all delicious. Extensive and reasonably priced win list, attentive and knowledgeable service. Great views of Seattle. Place is a gastronomic delight.

Excellent service. Walked in at 8:00 pm with wife and daughter. No issues with getting seated. Plenty of seats but not empty. Dinner and wine selection are focussed. Nice Bordeaux wine. Started with the chicken mouse«pâté». Nice and smooth. Wife was provides with apples as she is gluten sensitive in replacement for bread. No issues raised, gave us solutions not a hassle. The mussels and broth were nice, could have been served warmer but otherwise nice taste. The salad with bacon was awesome. Perfectly dressed. This was my favorite. Steak and frites was nice as well. Overall nice place with wonderful service. The prices are very reasonable. Fantastic location right on alki. During long summer evenings with Windows open this will be one of our go to places as we live 5 minutes away in the neighborhood. Waiting for dessert now but would not expect to be disappointed. Prices reasonable. No upcharge for location on alki considering this is a white clothe napkin restaurant. This will be part of our rotation.

I love this location, view and comfort. I loved Cassis and love Maree as well! Their food is fresh and tasty so it’s a treat that they are open again and much of the staff is the same. My husband and I came down and I got a wonderful Steak and Fries(I know, I’m skipping the fancy french name on purpose!) The bartender is one of our favorites and knows how to make the locals feel comfortable, he is excellent! The only downside is that the ventilation must be minimal in here, I always leave smelling like I was soaking in the food… other than that… excellent. I will be back for the Muscles! Thank you!

Stopped by on a whim at about 5 pm on a Saturday. Pleasantly surprised overall. The ambiance is quite nice and has a stellar view of the Sound and Olympic mountains. Staff was really nice. Learned it was purchased by the chef of the previous establishment(and his wife) which is always nice to see. On to the food — I had a great glass of Cotes du Rhone. Together we ordered the pork cheeks(tasty!), French onion soup(rich beef broth with the right amount of cheese and onions– perfect by my standards!), the burger and frites(perfectly browned with very good house made garlic aioli). The burger was fine but given the other great burgers in West Seattle I’d stick with the French fare. Overall, really enjoyed it and would return for happy hour or dinner. Definitely worth a visit and is the right balance of upscale /approachable for West Seattle. Hope they stick around for a good long while!

We’ve been here several times(both before and after new ownership) and have always loved it. Great service, great food, great ambience. It’s our favorite«fancy dinner out» spot in West Seattle. Tonight we brought our two young boys, who are well seasoned restaurant goers, and they loved it. We ordered the mussels as an appetizer and they were so fresh and delicious that my youngest basically ate the whole thing. So glad the new owners kept this place open!

Amazing view, thoughtful waitstaff and wonderful food! I had the pâté appetizer, bison short ribs and the black tea cup dessert. Everyone at our table loved their meals and mine was divine. Such a lovely place with a relaxing ambiance. You aren’t rushed and food is paced well.
