I don’t get the hype. I got the slider and the tacos, and they were OK. Nothing to really rave about. Considering this is a food truck, the price/ratio is not great. I had better.

Meh. I ordered the kahlua pork slider and the chicken taco. For the price, I thought both servings were a little on the small side. The pork was dry and the bun was small. I enjoyed the chicken taco, it had decent flavor. Overall, I don’t see the hype. And the fact that they don’t accept cards was a little odd, unless they just don’t want to pay the processing fees. I wasn’t impressed but maybe I ordered the wrong thing?

Delicious spicy pork tacos and kimchi quesadilla! I had to get my korean(fusion) food fix while I was up here in Seattle. But these food were mouth watering and addicting.

Food tried: — Tacos(2 pork, 1 beef) — $ 7.50 It’s wild to me that in a city where many places push 100 reviews as a minimum, a place like the Marination Moblie in the International District can still have only 10 reviews. There is this strange conception that still exists in the U.S.(I had hoped it would improve while I spent a year in the even more street-food-wary U.K.) that street food isn’t going to be as good, as healthy, and/or as safe as restaurant food. Let me say this gently: in the International District, you’re as safe at Marination Mobile as anywhere, and I leave it up to you to interpret that as you will. I had the tacos, at the recommendation of my foodie friend here in Seattle, two spicy pork and one kalbi beef. I’ve had kalbi fresh off the barbeque in London, so I know how it’s supposed to taste, and cochinita pibil, which is the most common spicy pork I’ve had, is equally daunting in flavor. For food-served-fast, the tacos were delicious. Corn tortillas wrapped juicy and savory meat topped with crunchy coleslaw-esque greens. The portion of three tacos for lunch was completely satisfactory. I also made a complete mess and required all the napkins I grabbed which is a compliment if you’ve ever seen me eat. Both meats had the right kinds of flavors, though it’s difficult to do a connoisseur’s evaluation when there are other ingredients involved. I can say the flavors all went well together, so there’s that. This is why I love food trucks: fast service, good food, good prices. Buck up, Seattle, you don’t know what you’re missing out on!

i was really excited to try marination after reading the stellar reviews and exciting magazine articles featuring the fine asian fusion cuisine. unfortunately, i left feeling extremely disappointed, confused, and wondering what all of these people were talking about. the taco meat was extremely bland, chewy, and dry… and the tortillas literally crumbled and were very cold to the touch. the kimchi fried rice was probably one of the worst i’ve had in my life. flavorless, yet paralyzed my mouth with the overuse of chili. i might not have minded so much had there been some salt or typical bitterness from kimchi to cut the spice… but alas… nothing but fire on my tongue. needless to say, i won’t be coming back… and i’m seriously reconsidering most of the assumptions i’ve made based on Unilocal reviews…

Very delicious! Not counting the mac salad: 5 stars Counting the mac salad: 4 stars(would give 4 ½ but Unilocal doesn’t let you) I wanted to try a few things so I ordered a Kalbi beef taco, Kalua pork slider, Spam slider, and Hawaiian mac salad. Kalbi Beef Taco — Yum. The meat was flavorful and not tough. It was a little dry but not overly so. The pickled sliced jalapenos on top give it a good kick, but dump a bunch of Sriracha on it anyway. Dee-lish! Kalua Pork Slider — Also very good. Better flavor than your typical smoked pulled pork. Again, a little dry but not overly so. Served on a Hawaiian roll(think King’s Sweet Hawaiian Rolls) with Nunya Sauce(don’t know what’s in it, but it’s tasty) with cabbage/carrot slaw. More Nunya sauce on it would have been better. Spam Slider — Probably my favorite thing of the bunch. Very good flavor. Make sure they throw Nunya sauce on it(mine didn’t come with any). Hawaiian Mac Salad — My least favorite item from lunch. It wasn’t bad, and I really liked the cubes of grilled Spam in it, but overall the flavor is a bit bland and not worth the calories. All in all, I was very happy. Except for the bland mac salad, verything was very flavorful and delicious and I would eat there again in a heartbeat.

Okay, I’ve been«Marianated»… A co-worker was kind enough to treat me today, Aloha Friday!!! She opted for tofu tacos, and she got me a pork slider… OMG… it transports very well. We were both very happy! The slider was really quite addicting, they need to sell them in a 12 pack… hint hint… Luv street food, luv food trucks, luv this place, will head back once I can walk again! Check out their website for times and locations. So ono!

A little slice of heaven. It’s all so good I end up ordering way too much food. All the tacos are incredible and I also love the pork sliders(the Nunya sauce really makes it work). If you want to try something different try the spam sliders too. I like to use Yorder to place my order in advance because the lines are so long. You pay, set the time to pick it up and they have it ready. It’s a little awkward to walk past everyone in line to tell them you are there though. I wish they would come up with a way to fix that. It’s cash only(unless you use Yorder).

Always fantastic… everything. The least exciting is the mac salad, but every taco and slider is phenomenal. If there is a special left when you get there… GETIT!

Sooo yummy! Love them. I stubbled on them today on my way to PCC in Fremont and decided to stop. So glad I did! Had the sexy tofu taco, kalbi beef taco and the pork slider — all very good. They are in Fremont on Wednesday! I’ll be back!

Just tried it for the first time today. LOVED my beef tacos with coleslaw inside, and jalapenos on the side. Also had some Hawaiian Macaroni Salad with SPAM. The tacos were among the best I’ve ever had.
