Me and my family eat a lot of Mediterranean food, and after a completely doable walk from the space needle, we stopped by for dinner. BESTCHOICEWE’VEMADEALLDAY. My step-dad and I got the combo kabob plate, which came with beef, chicken, and lamb with rice and hummus(A LOTOFFOOD. If you aren’t sharing then recommend not getting appetizers), and my mom got the lamb shank, which came with couscous(very tender with great flavor, couscous incredible, also A LOTOFFOOD). Everything was so delicious and well spiced that I usually don’t write reviews but I couldn’t help myself. Between the two, we all agreed that the combo did win in a battle of flavors, though. The service: remarkable. Our hostess was very kind and our server was so sweet and I genuinely felt that he cared about serving us well. I would post a picture… but i ate it… Overall, 5 ½ star review. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re by the seattle center!

You know, I’ve had some awesome Mediterranean food, but this was fabulous. I am a huge vegetarian platter fan, and in this case I got all that I wanted and more! This dish included falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, stuffed grape leaves, a nice rice of sorts, and this cauliflower that was amazing. Everything in this platter was well-made, and super fresh. I can’t get enough of Mediterranean food, and Mashawi had it all. Service was also quick, and friendly, making the experience that much better. Try this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing kofta kebab that came with a lentil soup or salad. The saffron rice was delicious and it was accompanied with a warm bread. Fantastic little find after the Chihuly gardens

A definite must is you are in downtown Seattle. After a long day driving and visiting Chilhuly, we headed towards Belltown based on a recommendation from the guy in gift shop who used to live in Richmond near my neighborhood. Was it a good choice!!! We found Mashawi. There was nobody in the front half when we walked in, so almost left since a dead restaurant is typically not I good sign. After looking at the menu I liked the choices and was hungry so I stayed. According to the waitress there is a theater crowd that had just left. Within 15 minutes the front half was full again. I got he lamb kabobs with a salad. You have a soup option instead of the salad but I am not a lentils fan. My only complaint was with the salad, the dressing and peppers were just awesome but please some other greens beside iceberg lettuce, please. The lamb kabobs were cooked perfectly and the sauce was awesome. The hummus and roti were tasty as well. A full bed of rice made for an authentic and filling dish. The service was great, the atmosphere relaxing. You need to go here!!! Oh, the prices are reasonable too. More than reasonable considering the downtown location.

Simply divine! Best Lebanese food I have had in a very long time! Everything is made from scratch. Their falafel was amazing! I’m so sad I live in California, otherwise I would be here often. Portions are very large. Really great deal for the prices!

Had a great experience tonight. Right before the show with minutes to spare, I had delicious gyro and chick pea soup.

The food is sooo good! Consistently great service as well. The only negative thing I might say is that I wish their pita was fresher. They make their baklava in-house, though, and it is the BEST baklava I have ever had!

So amazing! I love the lamb with rice. I have only ordered food to go. Always fast and staff are very nice. Portions are huge, sharing is encouraged.

Within a one week stay, we visited this spot twice for dinner. That’s how it good the meal was. I inquired about halal options on the menu. The owner told me that the meats were indeed halal and I couldn’t have been more delighted. The first night I tried a chicken dish in a red sauce with zucchini. On the second visit I ate the Mashawi wings(which were heavily seasoned but delicious nonetheless). Both meals were great as leftovers(beware the portions are generous). The owner was warm, engaging, and a gracious host. Would highly recommend.

Just ordered from here off of bite squad for lunch, got the zahra, $ 7 on the appetizer menu. Supposedly topped with tahini sauce, tomatoes, green onions, and parsley… But instead I get a pile of extremely greasy unseasoned cauliflower on a bed of now equally greasy lettuce. Definitely not worth it on that one.

Excellent Lebanese restaurant. Great service, delicious food, huge portions. The menu has a hodgepodge of different middle eastern dishes, all over the region. I call it Lebanese because the owner is of this race. He sat us down immediately and treated us pleasantly. I ordered the kabob combo. The dish comes with choices of either soup or salad. Soup was lentil, and I’m glad I chose this because it was hearty and had every spice in the book. There were flavorful tastes of cardamom, cinnamon, and other mixes of curry in it. The lentils were cooked all the way but not mushy. Great texture. My dish had 4 types of kabob: fish, chicken, ground beef, and lamb. The menu stated 3, so I wasn’t going to complain about this. Excellent seasoning, not too salty(which is always my biggest complaint when eating middle eastern food). Each entrée comes with free pita bread and also rice pilaf. Rice tasted as if it came cooked in numerous herbs and butter! Excellent! Husband ordered their famous dish: traditional Lebanese ouizi. Divine! Rice is white and not yellow like how mine was served. And if I could choose a last meal, this would be it! We had so much food left over, I was able to eat lunch and dinner for the next day. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

We arrived late to our hotel and we were hangry. I jumped on Unilocal and this place came up. The Lentil soup was great as everyone says. We wanted white meat chicken and the only option was a dish made with chicken tenders. Not a fan of tenders, however the flavor was great. If this was made with chicken breast it would be 5 stars. The rice was great, hummus was great and I got a big laugh at the end of the night by what the server called our dish on the check.

Want to unwind, relax? this is a perfect atmosphere! Peanut Chicken, full flavor with a dash of spicy. Extremely enjoyed this dish, served with rice that complemented the chicken perfectly! Friendly staff made the evening delightful!

I normally write pretty long reviews with a lengthy list of pros and cons. For this restaurant, I can sum it up in two: + THATLENTILSOUP + THATFALAFEL Simply phenomenal. I want to know how they seasoned that lentil soup because it was unlike any lentil soup I’ve ever tasted. Is it just me, or was there cinnamon involved?!

So good!!! We tried this place for take out after reading Unilocal reviews! We actually live in QA and had never tried it as I hate trying new places without recommendations from others! Everything we ordered was amazing! HUGE portions and they throw in so much extra and are so kind! I had the Ouzi and my husband had the lamb, beef and chicken kabob plate. We ordered humus and they threw in tons of warm soft pita and soup as well! My Ouzi was amazeballs, and so much I had it at work the next day for lunch and that’s always an extra star for a restaurant! It’s already on our list to take friends when they visit from out of town!

I ordered the seafood fettuccine alfredo. The pasta and sauce was good, but I didn’t like the scallops and it was a huge serving. I enjoyed the starters: hummus, baba ghanoug, and labneh with the pita bread. I should’ve ordered a standard dish like the vegetarian plate, but it was a nice meal. Small place, owner seemed like a good guy.

I came here recently for a work lunch. The décor and location are great, and I was able to secure a parking spot on the street no problem. The staff was great and the service was quick and easy. As for the food, I tried the chef’s special curry and it was bland, oddly flavored really and not spicy at all, even though I had ordered it spicy. The portions here are really ample and even though I had about half my portion remaining, I didn’t want to re-experience this meal. I’d be giving 2-stars but it really seemed as though my co-workers enjoyed their food and so I give the benefit of the doubt. I can’t see returning anytime soon for me.

We have seven of us here tonight. Overall, we are all enjoying our meal. However, this place is good, not very good. We started with humus and grape leaves. Both were very good. It is served with puta bread that was good, but feels like it comes from a sack you could buy off a shelf. It is not freshly baked. The lentil soup was very good. I did not finish my salad; the dressing had too much vinegar. Two had a Swarma that that was excellent. Two had a Moroccan lamb. The lamb was excellent, but the sauce was non-descript. Fortunately, the sauce did not hurt the lamb. The peanut chicken needed some peanut flavor. Overall, some fishes were very good and others just OK. This place has a small wine list that is fairly priced. We had a Malbec that was fine for the meal. It was full bodied, but a bit jammy for my taste. I would like to try this place again. There is a lot to explore. Glad we tried it.
