HANDS-DOWNTHE best burger joint in Seattles downtown core. The burgers themselves are only about a 1 star, but I’m going to have to throw in another 4 stars just for the sheer madness of this location and the people who peddle drugs and fight on the corner. I honestly have no idea why City Of Seattle chooses to not sell tickets for events here, mnaybe 2 hour slots? Like a suspense movie where you never really know what’s going to happen.

This place is like Benihana’s, there is dinner and a show. But instead of asian food and joyful banter with a master chef you get french fries and two crack heads fighting in the lobby. This location has a bad problem with transient people loitering or causing a general scene. As far a food goes, its on par with any other McDonalds. However this location just feels sketchy all the time due to being pan handled at the door, people sleeping at the tables, and having to request someone to unlock the bathroom.

I’m weird. It’s hot(for Seattle) at like 82 and I want water. Go into this McDonald’s welcomed by a security guard saying you can’t use the bathroom w/o a purchase. Ok thanks, I didn’t need to anyway. Ordered a fry and a small water and the guy at the register upgraded me to a large for 1 $. Yesssss water! I crave it often. However he failed to mention WATERISN’T ANOPTION. I’ve never been anywhere before where there wasn’t a water spew somewhere on the soda lineup. That was ridiculous and is that legal? Soda aint gon satisfy my thirsty self! They also have weird signs saying«limit yourself to 30 minutes eating inside». I don’t know who would want to spend more than one minute in here, it was terrible. Oh and HOT! I felt bad for the workers! There was no air conditioning or temperature control that I noticed. Not like anyone reads McDonald’s reviews but damn this was HORRIBLE.

Why do I torture myself and go here? All I’m doing is making myself angry and fatter at the same time. This McDonalds is the worst. I would suggest just walking up the street a bit and going to the McDonalds on your local crack corner in the heart of Downtown Seattle. :) No, but seriously… I come here when I’m too indecisive about where to eat on my lunch break and only have a few minutes to decide. Fries always sound good when I can’t decide, but what I have in mind is WARM fries. Not 2-day old cold fries. And I’m not just saying 2-day old fries, they really are. I came here at 10:30 one day and they’re suppose to open at 10:00 am? Within 30 minutes, I don’t know how the fries were able to get that damn cold, but they were disgusting and tasted old. I thought I’d give them another chance today, but same thing. Old, cold fries. Ehh… Plus, they’re quick as hell, but that’s not always a good thing. I end up getting my burgers made so sloppy that most of what should be inside of the burger is inside the box. Eh, this place sucks!

Alright, it’s McDonalds, I get it. Every now and again, though, I get struck by a craving and if I’m on a real short 30 minute lunch break when that craving strikes, it’s pretty inevitable that i’ll end up here. Two cheeseburgers and fries to go. They were fast, the food is never as good as my craving leads me to believe and I’m pretty sure I will never come here more than once every few months, but when I do go I’m not disappointed so props for that.

I have been doing some out of town travelling and have come to the conclusion that travelling on Sound Transit on the weekends is a bit of a burden from the Eastside. The 545 I was supposed to take completely skipped my stop and I ended up waiting a hour for one. Seeing that I lost a half hour to get a bite to eat prior to a bus trip up to Vancouver, I ended up at the Westlake Center McDonald’s. It seemed the most logical and economical option with limited time. I rarely eat at McDonald’s now, but I was surprised at how much prices seem to have risen. Maybe it is just this location that costs more. I know prices can vary by store. I didn’t see any dollar menu items aside from a hash brown offering. Instead I see it is $ 3.49 for an Egg McMuffin. Really? Ended up getting the Sausage McMuffin meal which includes a hash brown and a small coffee($ 3.29). It was fine, but the muffin was disappointing. It could very well be that my eating standards have gotten more frou frou. But I think I could have made a better breakfast sandwich than this if I had the time. If I had any better options, I would probably have gone elsewhere. Seeing that I didn’t, I am glad that there is McDonald’s as a last resort.

This McDonald’s is located in Westlake Center in the heart of Seattle, Washington. This McDonald’s is very nice and is a part of a food court. Not much to say about this restaurant.

Out of all the choices in the food court at Westlake Center, I typically end up here… McDonalds. The food here tastes the same as any other McDonalds I’ve been to. The upside about this particular location is the consistent friendly service, it’s close to work, and it’s located in Westlake Center. The food court has a large number tables and there are umbrella tables outside on the balcony for fresh air and people watching during the summer months. The downside is this location does not participate in off-menu specials like a regular McDonalds.

its ghetto, but its exciting. If you like a little risk taking before heading for work or just want to watch a fight or people watch, this should be the place. Honestly its not that bad, people need to live a little, its fun. I rather be here than some suburban boring restaurant where my life passes me by and don’t feel a bit alive.

When I used to go to this McDonalds ALLTHETIME!!! I used to catch bus 14, and when I missed the bus I would head over to trusty Mickey D’s for a cheap meal or a $ 1 soda. When I lived in Belltown at the Lenora apt, I would hit this Mc D’s up every other week for a fast and cheap meal. Yes, yes I know its not a healthy option and I’m sure eating cardboard would be healthier, but like what everyone else says its cheap and fast food. The only con about this particular McDonalds is its the hangout of these random ghetto kids that hang there day and night. Sometimes there is police intervention and they ride around this area on bikes to prevent some kind of inner city brawl or something. Also, its close to a Scientology center which was put up the next door down and the ET followers try, very badly to persuade people to take a ‘dianetics test’. lol

If you have that inkling need for an industrial chicken sandwich or hamburger, plus some fries, walk to the location at 6th and Westlake for some actual quality food. This location is packed full of people, commonly not the most desirable at that. It’s loud, it has a 10 minute limit on sitting down, I’ve had horrible fries on each visit to this location, plus bad sandwiches as well. Justify your horrible need with exercise and walk NE of here to a location with much less traffic, an interesting store to sit in, and no crazy 10 minute limit.

Dinner time on a weeknight. Busy downtown location. Only two orders ahead of mine. WHY did it take me nearly 15 minutes to get my food? Well, there was only one cashier and one cook. But other than that… it’s the fault of those two employees for the total failure. There were no fries prepped at all — they had to be scooped into containers for every single order. No burgers or sandwiches appeared to be ready. It felt like they were cooking everything from scratch. Totally unfriendly staff who clearly did not want to be there. The food itself was fine(for McD’s, of course), but considering how long this FASTFOOD took, I was pretty unsatisfied. Sadly, I’ll probably be back here. It’s only of the few food court places in Westlake that I will tolerate. Sigh.

Come on now folks, it’s McDonalds! We all grew up this this burger joint and most of us still stop in for a quick bite. Can’t really say anything bad about this place because the service is quick and that’s why we stop in from time to time. The food, well… it’s fast food!

You are ghetto. There is no other way to say it. This MCD scared me. Considering where I was at, I guess i really shouldn’t be surprised. But I was. Aside from people staring me down, this is what threw me off: I saw a lady in her pajamas, wearing snorkeling goggles, and holding a small child sized doll. I didn’t know what to make of it. Umm I wont be back. EVER…

i allow myself McDonald’s french fries about 3 or 4 times a year. yup. i live right on the edge. did you know that McDonald’s used to cook their french fries in beef tallow until the mid-80’s? i’m convinced crack must be involved somehow in the frying process since then. otherwise, why would i crave fast-food fries in the ‘land of truffle fries’? when i am hit with one of these undeniable all-consuming cravings for these salty crispy heavenly sticks, i haul my ass to the Westlake food court. this McDonald’s lacks a Dollar Menu and the medium fries are slightly more expensive than other locations. but if you avoid the lunch hour, there’s rarely a line so they usually have to start a new batch of fries for me. burning my mouth with straight out of the fryer fries have to be one of my top 10 simple pleasures in life. this location is also clean and attracts less crazy people than the one a block away on 3rd. i’ve not seen even a semblance of a smile on the employees but i’m not going to complain too much about service at a McD’s. in case you don’t trust the intelligence of my taste buds, Julia Child and James Beard were big fans of McD’s fries.

Not the best McDonald’s. The staff here speaks very little English. I’ve been here many times(out of convenience, my gym is across the street, and yes, I go to the McDonald’s on the way out of the gym. Protein, baby!), so I’ve dealt with quite a few of them, and I’m constantly having to repeat myself and correct what they thought I ordered. It gets annoying. The clientele here is also not the best, which means its a little dirty. Do yourself a favor and walk up the street a few blocks, there are better McDonald’s options.

I am a large fan of McDonald’s. Although I don’t eat there a lot, when I do, I expect it to be good. I work in the Westlake Tower, so this is the most convienent location when I have a craving for french fries. Everything is always hot and fresh and the people that work there are nice.

About once a month I’ll get an IM from an old co-worker and all it will say is Westlake. Meaning he’s craving McDonald’s and wants me to escort him to Westlake for lunch, he’s scared of the freaky, nasty, crazies that downtown Seattle has to offer. Nine times out of ten I’ll join him and one of those nine times I’ll actually go to McDonald’s with him, otherwise I’ll get something else but no longer will it be World Wraps. Yes we know there is a McDonald’s closer to us on Third Ave but have you ever been to that McDonald’s? If so than you know why he picks this one. Yes we know it’s more expensive than the one on Third and it has no dollar menu options but you know what you have your safety and get to leave with your sanity and that’s all the matters. Plus you don’t have to worry about some crack head yelling at themselves while you are patiently waiting for your food. If I’m ever craving McDonald’s on my lunch break this is the only one I’ll venture too, fries satisfy, chocolate milkshakes bring all the boys to my yard and the McChicken sandwich feeds my hunger. And yes after eating here my stomach tends to act as if the Tasmanian devil has taken residence in there but not always which is why I’ll still go there that one out of nine times I get asked.
