I ordered dinner from them via the Eat 24 app. I ordered the hummus side along with a pita bread, the lamb and chicken shawarma plates. The hummus was good and the pita bread was okay. The chicken was okay too. The lamb was so-so. The biggest disappointment was rice — I wish they serve better quality of that. All in all, an okay experience.

The lamb was excellent, cooked and flavored just right. The rice was good also. For the prices this place is great a must try

Gyro or lamb plate… get it and you’ll be satisfied. The soup that comes with it is solid. I started coming here after the whole Chipotle E. coli fiasco and don’t regret it. It’s a little pricey(~$ 12) but worth it if you’re craving mediterranean food. The plate portions are pretty generous more so than the sandwiches, so I would vote for that.

Ordered from here for delivery only, it was pretty good food. I’d highly suggest getting one of their plates or salads rather than their pita sandwiches though(good, but not very big).

I had been in the mood for mediterranean food for 48 hours and decided to finally give into temptation even though the thought of eating something other than standard American fare scared my visiting father shitless. The online ordering process through eat24 was easy, even providing a special instructions text box for every item added to the cart. This was a lifesaver since my father is the pickiest eater on the planet and probably would have refused to eat if there was a drop of tzatziki on his chicken. Delivery was fast and portions were large. We, actually I, ordered the following: –Side of hummus –Gyros plate w/salad –Chicken kabob plate w/salad –2x pita bread Right off the bat I noted that the pita bread was packaged in it’s original plastic wrap, so I knew they didn’t make their own pita bread. The pita bread was fine but nothing special and because it wasn’t homemade, one star was deducted. The hummus was a bit too runny for my liking and I’m a fan of slightly more runny hummus. I regretted ordering the side of hummus for two reasons. First, there was a large dollop of hummus with the gyros plate and chicken kabob plate. Second, it wasn’t all that great. Now I’ve got a giant container of leftover hummus which I’ll have to eat with some more store-bought pita bread. The chicken kabob plate was just meh. My picky father described it as «just some grilled chicken» and that review was pretty spot on. The gyro plate — and specifically the tzatziki — was the star of the show. Even my picky father commented about how the«steak» was really tasty. Would I give Mediterranean Express another go? Sure but I’d limited my order to a gyro plate with a side of tzatziki and an order of pita bread, in the event I did not have any store-bought pita bread readily available in the house.

I was in the mood for Greek so I ordered some via the Eat 24 app. I ordered the hummus appetizer, the lamb and beef gyro plate, and a baklava. The hummus was ok, but not great. I prefer my house thicker, with more garlic. This was a little soupy. They sent my pitas in grocery store plastic – kind of odd, but it was good. The lamb was excellent, cooked and flavored just right. The rice was good also. This dish included a bean soup, which was so so. The baklava was excellent also, I wish I had ordered a few.

This food is wildly mediocre. I ordered the combo plate, and the lamb was so stringy it couldn’t be chewed, therefore swallowed. The beef looked like a McDonalds sausage patty, and tasted worse. I’m not sure why these are called kabobs, which are grilled on a skewer. The rice was bland, and the humus canned. In fact, the pitas were delivered in a retail bag from a company«manufactured in Alberta, Canada». Whoa, big thumbs down.

Tasty an convenient. The place is small but I usually just get a gyro to go. They’re simple but the sauce is really nice and the meat isn’t too shabby. It’s wrapped quite nicely and inexpensive.

Ugh, just had the falafel plate and it was seriously so bad I couldn’t finish and I’m not feeling so hot right now. The falafel were hard, tasteless lumps, rice was yellow colored cheapo rice o’ roni, and salad was over-drenched with dressing, lettuce on bottom sitting in a sloppy pool of vinegar. Yucko!

Had the chicken kabob plate delivered for lunch. What ever marinade and spices they use on the chicken are magical. So tasty. I’m picky about chicken. This was great… not greasy, but not dry. And perfectly seasoned. The hummus was delicious as well. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Good food, good service, and they honored a deal of mine that was slightly expired even though they didn’t have to.

I will begin by saying that the food here is actually pretty decent, but only if you are able to actually eat it. This was a pretty massive delivery failure. I ordered through eat24, and then waited an hour before calling the restaurant to find out what happened(the app quoted 45 – 60 minutes). When I called, they assured me that it would only be another 10 – 15 minutes because they had been having an unusually busy night. Another 20 minutes pass, and I call back asking what had happened. Apparently, the driver had successfully delivered it, but to one of my neighbors. I live in an apartment building and have no way to figure out who it was delivered to. The woman on the phone did apologize, but failed to offer some solution and when asked if we could get it redelivered she had no idea how long that would take. Between someone else being given my food(which I had already paid for) and having no idea when MY food would arrive, the experience was awful on all accounts. I will strongly reconsider ordering delivery from this restaurant again.

Had the vegetarian combo… loved everything except the dolmas. They were mushy and sort of dissolved in my mouth. Beyond that slight problem, delicious and I would definitely dine here again. UPDATE: Also got a lovely response from owner/manager. It’s good to see people taking their business seriously, and he was very kind and responsive to my concerns about the dolmas. That’s really all you can ask for!

Went back recently and tried the combo plate that comes with chicken, lamb and beef. So good! The chicken was super juicy and cooked to perfection. The lamb was good too but the kafta could’ve used more seasoning. We also got the Greek fries, the beef shawarma and a gyro. Loved it all. The only thing I wish they included was a side of garlic sauce in their plates. Maybe you have to ask for it yourself? My only criticism is the dolmathes. Waay overpriced and overrated. It’s $ 1.19 each! And it wasn’t that delicious either. I could get a dozen for $ 7 in Pike Place and it tastes 10x better. Service was great and the food was ready super fast. I’m definitely going back again to try to some more dishes but the prawns will always be my fave.

I keep coming back to this place because it’s fast, reasonably priced and delicious. My favorite is the chicken shawarma plate with a side of salad(comes with the meal). The owner is really nice and the food speaks for itself. The restaurant is not very big and can get busy during the week around lunch time. Not a great spot for large groups or kids but it’s a great spot for a quick bite.

Came hangry. Left super full. The plates come with salad, pita bread, hummus, and a large portion of meat and rice. I would have a loved a bit more hummus to go with everything else, but it was definitely a lot of food(for a little price), which was exactly what I needed. Honestly, I should have eaten only half and saved the other half for later, but YOLO.

One or two degrees fancier than a Baja Fresh, but REALLYGOODFOOD! I got a dolma platter, a veggie platter, and an order of Greek Fries to share with my friend. The first two were fantastic, but the greek fries didn’t have actual feta on them, or it was really cheap feta. The hummus and babaghanouj were so-so – nothing extremely notable, but solid. Also, all that food was under $ 25 – amazing. The staff was very nice and very prompt. Lots of good daylight, big windows. There were a couple groups of 4 or 5 people, and almost all tables were full. It’s small, but I can’t picture a huge rush there. Overall, an excellent cheap dining option.

Editing my review: I called in an order for pickup today and ordered Lamb Shawarma and Lamb Kabob. I ordered a couple of other things and the order was ready on time. When I got home, I opened the packages and there were two Beef Shawarma instead of what I ordered. So, order whatever you like here, but tonight you’re getting Beef Shawarma. Very disappointing. To me, the beef is also cheaper, tougher, and less flavorful – but mostly it’s just not what I ordered. Just careless. I ordered two dinners and they were both wrong. Strangely, the sides(one soup, one salad) were correct – so all the secondary info was taken down – did they just run out of lamb? I speak clearly and concisely, have no special obscure accent, and waited for the order taker to read my order back to me(which they did correctly… so wtf?). When you’re hungry for something and you come home with something different, it’s disappointing. And there’s no way to make it better. Not worth a 20-minute drive back to change it. Third order here, so a 2⁄3 success rate. Do you feel lucky?

Quick, inexpensive, no fuzz, and just plain good eats. What else is there to say? Getting a seat during lunch is not a problem up in here for the most part, because people come and go, and some get their orders to-go, so the few tables are almost always available. Most food items reasonably cost around $ 10 at this place, and you can’t go wrong with any choice, really. I always get the chicken kabob — sweet deal. Order comes within a minute or so after I sit at my chair: a good-sized plate of chicken kabob, pita bread, and a small salad. Big portions(for me) so a stare down usually happens for a few seconds while I plan on which side to stab the fork at, always wondering if I can even finish the whole thing by myself. Chicken is always soft and tender on the inside, yet just a bit seared on the outside. Right up there good! They include hummus dip for pita bread, which is thoughtful, especially if one has to buy it extra at other joints. Rice is soft and not dry, and has that little bit of greasy feeling, giving it that little bounce in my mouth between bites. Nice! The«Greek» fries, which are fries slathered with peta cheese as we all know it, are a little limp but still good — probably how it’s supposed to be, given the type of oil they used for cooking it. Lastly, the staff busses your table for you when you’re done, so you can pretty much just leave your plate and walk out of there right after with no fuzz. Good eats. This is the place.
