Paul has not returned calls or emails that I have left him. He is a poor salesman. I am having an issue with the car I am buying so I called and left an email no response back from him.

Great little used car place. Found a Volvo X70 Wagon at a price lower than what a few craig listers wanted. Very relaxed, everything was easy and they were open and honest. They fixed the headlight for free and didn’t charge dealer fees on the sale. So glad a bought from them.

Buying cars is never fun. However, Paul is genuinely a nice guy. He came across as honest and straight forward, which rare in that industry. He has a lot of experience and knows his product and won’t try and push you into a deal. My wife and I would definitely recommend his easy going nature. And he knows a good deal about Volvo’s!

I bought my used Jaguar from Paul at Metropolitan Motors. The transaction was a great experience. Paul is a man of his word. He is professional and he does what he says he will do. I cannot speak highly enough of him and I trust him completely. I bought a Jaguar there but they have a wide-​variety of cars to choose from. And they will stand behind their product! How many used car lots will do that?
I was so pleased with my experience in buying my car there that I have begun bringing my cars to Metropolitan for service. Paul and John have a full service shop on the property. John is a skilled mechanic and does excellent work. He is so good that he can work on several makes of cars. Their prices are so reasonable. And they will never try to sell you something you don’t need. To have a used car lot that I can completely trust is fantastic. But to also have a mechanic that is not only talented but also trustworthy is amazing! They are so good, in fact, that I drive there from Snohomish.
If you are in the market for a used car or just looking for an excellent mechanic, Metropolitan Motors is absolutely the best place to go. Do yourself a favor and try them out. I promise, you won’t be disappointed!

I recently purchased a SUV vehicle at Metropolitan Motors. Paul, the owner was very nice, accommodated, and generous with my trade in. His wife Devon is also very responsive and pleasant. The mechanic also was knowledgeable, and took good care of my vehicle quickly. The transaction went smooth, and I never felt as though I was being taking advantage of. More impressive, was that shortly after purchase, I had some small repairs that needed attention, they of course honored the warranty without any hassle, heavy questions, or anything… easy as could be. They also supplied me with a loner car, free of cost, as they repaired my vehicle. I had also, on my own, had a diagnosis test done elsewhere, they made the small changes that needed to be done from that diagnosis, again without any question, hassle or cost. Any further questions and I always have questions, they responded in a timely manner and with clear answers. I highly recommend Metropolitan Motors for their honesty, professionalism and integrity.

This modest little car lot on Aurora and Green Lake should definitely be on your list if you’re in the market for a previously owned car. They specialize in Volvo, but they also carry a decent selection of Mercedes along with a variety of other European imports.
It’s a husband and wife outfit, and the customer service is knowledgeable and friendly. We worked with Paul, one of the co-​owners, and he answered our questions directly and frankly, even actively offering information about which model years were prone to particular problems. He was a mechanic in a former life, and does basic diagnostics and maintenance on many of the cars on his lot, so he knows them inside and out, including their service history and current condition.
We initially dropped by to take a look at a specific car, drove a couple from his lot, and looked at a few others around town. We ended up buying the car we were originally interested in from him without any haggling or other typical auto sales messing around. The car was priced reasonably to begin with, and he gave us a very fair credit for our trade-​in.
Every car they sell comes with a 60-​day warranty, and Paul offered his diagnostic services for as long as we own the car.
All told, our experience with Metropolitan Motors was fair, lacked any trace of sales pressure and was, in a word, respectful. The prices are very competitive and the service is outstanding — highly recommended!
