I work in the health care field, and I am thrilled to have found Nan. She is very knowledgable, and I feel the best acupuncturist I have ever worked with. I had seen PT, and the chiropractor for lower back pain following an injury. To my surprise I found the most relief and overall holistic approach was with her treatment. I feel she really understood my issues. In addition I was having edema in my feet and she treated me with acupuncture for this, mentioning that I would probably notice more frequent urination (sorry for TMI) which was shockingly true, and the edema was much improved. Thanks Nan!

I went for about 4 accupunture visits to this practice without any results and several occassions of up-​sale and un-​targeted treatments.
I still believe in acupuncture but I had a really bad experience at this acupuncture facility for several reasons.
1. On two visits the facility tried to upsale me other services like massages, pills etc.
2. When I first called and after the first visit I was told that I should see a difference in three visits and I never saw any perceptible change.
3. The facility has an erroneous calendering system. I visit twice on a day when I was not scheduled in. I made it to all my appointments on time. After all of this, after one false visit I had put on my calendar a time of 4:45 and the dr. called me at 4:00 saying my appointment was at 3:45, I explained the situation and then the they told me regardless I have to pay $ 40 as a no-​show fee!!! That’s appalling when I already told visited twice because their calendar system was not working for me, and my no-​show was not intended!
4. Regardless of the appointment I think the facility doesn’t practice acupuncture wholistically. My problem was never diagnosed accurately and every time the treatment changed with a completely new hypothesis created on the day of treatment. Infact in my last treatment they told me that may be I have to see a real doctor (well especially since they were not able to keep the original promise!)
I still believe in acupuncture but I would discourage folks from visiting this facility.

Seriously, I don’t fully understand how acupuncture works, but it does. I have had chronic neuropathic pain for years and Nan is the only practitioner who has helped me. The combination of acupunture, hands on stretching/​movement, and herbal therapy has made my life better. I have seen Nan for over a year now and I have not needed as frequent visits to the primary care doctor (who never helped me anyway) nor the painkillers I was using to manage life. If you have pain of any kind, go see Nan!
