I was SO EXCITED to pick up this painting of Allie by the awesome Nancy Schutt Fine Art Dog Paintings this week! Nancy is not only an incredible artist, she is a wonderful human being and I have enjoyed getting to know her, and her chihuahua Pablo!

Artist, Nancy Schutt, not only captures the physical she paints but its true, indelible spirit, as well. As a fan of French Impressionism, her work immediately reminded me of the more whimsical works of Dufy or Cezanne. Nancy has done 2 beautiful portraits for me in the last decade. The love she has for animals translates easily to the canvas. In my opinion, she is THE artist to go to when considering a portrait of any four-​footed family member. She will uniquely capture exactly what you’re looking for in a portrait, guaranteed!
