This is a great gym despite it’s size. It’s about 1⁄5 of the size of the 24 hour fitness(located 3 blocks away), but you can get just as much work done at Now Is. I go there so I’m a little biased. It also hosts the Austin Foundation, a non-profit that works with schools and community centers to provide fitness and diet education for everyone. Volunteer opportunities aplenty. You won’t find all the fancy equipment, a pool, or special classes. Plenty of weights and circuit machines. small cardio area and multipurpose room. There isn’t always a trainer available to help you workout but there’s plenty of knowledgeable folks who will lend a hand. If you’re a powerlifter in Seattle, this is where you want to go. You’ll get the best coaching.
