Didn’t know about this hidden gem that is right by my work. Ever since they moved my team away from South Lake union to Elliott area. There are simply nothing around this area for lunch or anything. Although my colleagues asked me to join then for some drinks after work. To my surprise it was like a 3 minute walk. It’s literally hidden. I used to thought the area was like a industrial warehouse area however there it is. The staff there are super friendly, they even allowed us to play cards against humanity. Also the table we sat at was like a chalk board table so we can draw on them. My team and I are designers so that was a cool thing. I tried the black cherry cider. Was pretty good. Also had a Porter. I would definitely come back with my colleagues to have a drink or two after work to unwind.

Great selection of Ciders. The Old Bay popcorn is my favorite. A hidden gem!

Only get cider. They charge $ 7 – 8 for«local» beer bit don’t pit prices up anywhere. I’ve never paid that much outside of the ballpark for Two Beers or Deschutes. Plus the guy let me sit there with an empty glass for awhile before asking me if I wanted anything more.

I loved this place! My friend took me here while I visited Seattle and Number 6 Cider certainly didn’t disappoint. The space was hosting a small company party when we walked in but they were gracious enough to serve us at the bar. The ambiance was somewhat intimate and woodsy but a good place to chat with a friend. Since there were so many delicious ciders to chose from, I ordered the flight for $ 13. It turned out to be reasonably priced since there were 6 generous pours. My favorite flavors were the true original, honey ginger, pomegranate, and pineapple jalapeño. The true original was fresh and crisp which I really liked. The pineapple jalapeño could have been spicier but it was a unique blend of flavors. The honey ginger wasn’t too ginger-y so it was pretty good to sip on. My absolute favorite was the pomegranate because it was tart, crisp, and refreshing. I would definitely recommend ordering a glass of the pomegranate if you come here! The only cider I wasn’t a huge fan of was the blueberry but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Service and ambiance are great here so I will definitely return next time I’m in Seattle!

This has become a favorite neighborhood gem for us. The various ciders are expertly crafted, and with rotating special types, it’s always fun to drop in and sample a new creation. We always choose to sit at the bar: easy to gab and just fun to watch the activity. Small but roomy enough, the tasting room allows for privacy as well as chatting with strangers. Next time we drop in to sample ciders, fill our growler, and buy a 4-pack, we plan to try out some of the simple nibbles.

I love the variety of ciders that Number 6 Cider produces! They always have 6 on draft, and usually have 3 or four standards and one or two rotators. I love it when they have spicy ciders on tap. Their tasting room is small, but never feels crowded. They have beautiful wood tables and a chalk board community table, as well as a shuffleboard table. I love to come here and play shuffleboard while enjoying a glass of the honey ginger or a specialty cider. They now have a few food offerings if you need a little snack to go with your drink!

Now that’s some damn good cider. The flights are always delicious and make for an entertaining night with friends or family alike. Don’t hesitate to try new things as they are always adding exciting flavors to their menu and the notes should not be ignored. «Best cider in town» — Gill Chesterton

Try the coffee cider – it’s unique and full of flavor! My group also ordered the original and the ginger ciders(both of which tasted very similar to each other). We didn’t try and food but the location and the layout/amenities are great! They have a good sized parking lot(hard to find in Seattle), beautiful tree trunk table tops and an abundance of group games(shuffle board, board games, etc). This place just screams«sit down and hang out!» which is exactly what we did!

I attended my First Unilocal Event here once I moved to seattle. Loved all the ciders on hand, and the tour they gave us. Very interesting to hear how its made. And the Rumbling of trains going by. Tables that you can color on with chalk. How Awesome. In such an unassuming location but i hope it takes off.

YESSSSS! There’s something about most ciders that feels refreshing and less filling than beer. To me, anyways! And that’s good for me because while I like beer, I often don’t drink it because I feel quite full afterward. Cider isn’t that way at all and I can guzzle it. Which is awesome because Number 6 Cider has so many unique flavors that I feel like I’m never having the same thing twice. The cidery itself is amazing and the tasting room is stunning. Super cool for events, tasting parties, or just hanging out. I could see coming here for trivia nights or events if they have them on occasion. It’s just really casual, comfy, air conditioned and cool. Being right next to the train tracks, they went with a railroad theme inside the bar and it’s made the space really industrial yet chic. Big heavy, chunky furniture, a gorgeous mural on the wall, and even shuffleboard for people wanting to play games and hang out. I can’t choose a favorite between the blueberry cider, the pomegranate, or the one with hints of ginger. Everything was excellent and I can’t wait to come back to try Fall flavors!

Number 6 is an amazing place! Great cider, fun atmosphere and LOTS of parking. They always have new cider flavors, three mainstays and three rotators. They’ve had some fun rotating flavors like chipotle, Stumptown cold brew, blueberry, jalapeño, juniper, pomegranate, and others. All are delicious and made in single batches so the same flavors are a little different with each batch. The tasting room is cozy with a shuffle board table, big tables and a bar that has an arm rest that can be heated in the winter. There’s a single TV that usually is playing a game but it’s in the back so it’s not distracting. It has only been busy one of the times that I’ve been there and it was fun even with a bunch of large groups. Jamie and Sarah who work the bar are really fun and very friendly. They just expanded their food menu: popcorn, chips, pretzels, charcuterie and even pork sliders. All are pretty tasty. If you want something more substantial, Zeeks Pizza delivers from their QA store and offers a 15% discount if you order to the tasting room. Do yourself a favor and head down to Number 6. You won’t regret it.

Been by the front of this place on my commute many times, but never stopped to find out what’s behind the sign! Turns out there is a sizable parking lot and a spacious tasting room that even has a shuffleboard table and a chalkboard table for doodling. The other tables are awesome — giant natural wood slabs, very cool looking. Don’t doodle on those. I tried six ciders here. They’ve only been in business since November, and I think they are going to start rolling out more«unique» flavors which I really like in cider tasting. The most interesting flavor available on my visit was the Stumptown coffee cider, which I liked. The head brewer/distiller/whatever you call someone who makes cider took us on a tour of their facilities. He comes from a brewing background(think he said Mac and Jack’s?), and decided to go the cider route when opening his own spot since the brewery market is getting pretty saturated. He spoke of a chipotle cider which will be back on tap soon(I like spicy booze!). They also can and distribute their flagship cider throughout the area. Cool spot, and I will be back for that chipotle cider!

Attended a Unilocal Elite event here and between the facility, staff and cider offerings, this place is a trifecta of cidery goodness! We sampled tastings of everything they had on tap: dry & crisp, original, honey ginger, pomegranate, stumptown cold brew and blueberry. Picking just one favorite is difficult but I’d probably go with the pomegranate or honey ginger as they’re lighter but still have great flavor without being too sweet. They also feature local microbrews on tap as well as some of their own wines. There is a large flat screen to watch games and small plates to munch on while you drink and chat. The tables are very cool with a giant chalkboard table in the middle of the room, on which you can doodle. A huge plus is that they also have a private lot! That’s right… No circling around for parking in Seattle! As previously mentioned, the tasting room staff are great and, if you’re lucky enough to get a tour, the attractive young owner is very informative and excited to tell you about the company. The tasting room is pretty spacious and set up for community seating, so bring a group of friends and get your drink on!

I love this place. It is beautiful inside, cool, the bartender Mara is great! Shuffleboard seems like a ton of fun, and there’s so much history! Dogs are allowed, which is perfect. Can’t wait to spend multiple hours here in the summer. Not to mention– the cider is on point!

Love this spot! We tried the tasters(which were a great price) and loved chatting with Mara the bartender. Gorgeous design and history built into the tasting room, too. I hope this place catches on… Would love to do bingo or trivia here in the future! Would also love to see food trucks in the parking lot — it would make for a great excuse to pop down there!

We started off on a Sunday dog walk in SLU, Top Pot Donut in hand. I wanted to go to the sculpture park, DF was thinking cider, Number Six Cider to be exact. We walked along the Elliot Bay trail to the pedestrian bridge by the grain elevator and emerged back onto Elliot conveniently between my favorite dry cleaner and my now favorite cider home. I had the tasting flight — pretty much loved them all — and I was a cider drinker before it was mainstream! We’ll be back. Likely on our bikes next time, maybe we’ll even take a growler home… wait then we’d have to pick a favorite.

This is a cute little place. It’s actually quite adorable in regards to the décor and the chalkboard family sized table. There is wood furniture all around, but natural tree trunk looking wood. I really enjoyed the nature/industrial interior. The cider was great, I had the«pomegranate»(seasonal) and the«true». Both really really good! Neither of them overly sweet, but not bitter either. ***please note that they have a small food menu, mostly cheese and cracker type things*** I’m not going to hold this against them for two reason. One because they allow you to bring your own food in. Second is that they give you a discount is you order zeeks pizza and have it delivered there. The staff was pretty freaking awesome, super social and helpful.(that’s hard to find in Seattle) Cheers to you Cider 6!

Knew this place was awesome from the moment I walked in and saw the giant sequoia tables and slabs. Full-size shuffleboard? Yes, please! And thank you! Good selection on beer on tap for me with clean lines and good carbonation. I also like the ciders, which is why the wife wanted to go there. For food, bring your own or order delivery. You can also order a pretzel or cheese plate at the bar, both of which are tasty. Mara, our server, was very friendly and chatted us up. Atmosphere is great with excellent design elements that blend industrial and natural. Draw on one table with chalk! I love this place and will be back! Check it out!

Not only is this an awesome spot, beautifully decorated, but the cider is fantastic! Honey Ginger is my hands down favorite, but I like to try the ones rotating on the tap. The mustard for the pretzels is yummy too! Jaime is very helpful and knowledgable with all the ciders. Definitely will be back for more and more!

Number 6 Cider is OUTSTANDING! I’m generally a beer drinker, or a bourbon drinker, or a mescal drinker, or a gin drinker– alright, so I drink most things– but cider isn’t one I’ve really ever gotten truly into. I think it’s maybe because the ciders I tried early on in my pro drinking days were really sweet. These are clearly not those ciders. The tasting room and production facility is hidden a little off 15th in Interbay, & they have ample parking right in front of the tasting room. The entire facility is huge– it’s one long building where they make the cider, can, and age it(you’ll see the bourbon barrels when you arrive). The tasting room isn’t huge– it could seat probably 30 people– but it’s got a super cool vibe. Think lumber mill meets steel fabrication shop meets brewery. The tables are made from beautiful old tree trunks, there’s a beautiful painted wall behind the bar, they have shuffleboard, and there are some nice large windows facing the train tracks. The inside of the place just feels really cool– like it would be a good place to have a few drinks and kill some time. They have a TV as well– but it’s smaller and doesn’t dominate the space at all. So… about the cider. I opted for a tasting tray– which includes 6 different ciders. Of the 6– I thought 4 were delicious, one was just meh– and one was downright terrible. The best of the six were the Ginger Honey Cider– it’s almost like a ginger beer cider combo. Not too sweet, nice ginger fire. I imagine you might even be able to mix it with bourbon and have it taste great. The worst was the Star Anise. The ciders are dryer and not sweet at all. They’re easy drinking– and they all clock in at 6% alcohol. They sell a few by the can to take home– and are also doing growler fills(pricey– at $ 4/pint) The bartender told us they will always have 6 of their own ciders on tap(rotating varieties) — and generally 6 other beers on tap for those who don’t dig cider. They were selling pretzels with some tasty looking mustard– and they seemed to be the only food on the menu. If you have any remote interest in cider at all– Cider Number 6 is a great place to visit. It’s a cool spot and they’re making quality booze from apples. I recommend you check it out.
