Pacific Plaza Hotel

We LOVE this hotel, We have been going there for 20 years. Its location is excellent, the rooms are fine, the bathrooms are clean. What more could you want. The doorman, Stanley is the best. The little cocktail hour at 5pm is great and we have met lovely people whilst standing around and chatting. We would not go anywhere else. This is the best bang for the buck and I am a VERY fussy person for cleanliness.

Avoid this place if possible!
Good — a bed, toilet and shower. Walking distance to all downtown Seattle area
Bad. Ohh this is a big list! Rooms are incredibly small, barely walking room around a queen bed. Damn fan/​heater unit would not turn off all not, and fan would periodically squeal like a bad bearing in there in the middle of the night. Gym is a joke. Treadmill, bike and elliptical, but they are dismal and falling apart. Elevator is old and questionable if it will go out when on it. Stuck to stairs after one use of it. Plus you can hear the motor whirring to move it from inside the room
For the price it is not worth it all. The photo of the room is literally taken from the entrance door to the room.
