Love this store! The cards are lovely and I always get great service when I’m there. I also have fun taking their decorating ideas and incorporating them with my ideas for fun parties. Great business to support!

Paper Delights truly has something for everyone. I went to a wedding last weekend and couldn’t find a good card despite driving all over Los Angeles, which made me realize that you shouldn’t go to any celebration without stopping at Paper Delights first. They have an amazing curated selection of beautifully made cards, small goods, wrapping paper, stationery supplies, and jewelry.

Delightful selection, loved all the Rifle Paper Co and First Snow Products. I just wish I could afford more!

This place is really cute and they have great stationary and cards, many of which are designed and printed in Seattle. I love coming here for unique cards for all occasions when I’m in the neighborhood.

Best I’ve found in Seattle this far! Lovely stationary, occasion cards and custom party invitations. Walked in on a Monday afternoon looking for 30 bridal shower invites with an elegant, French feel. The shop owner and her assistants were extremely friendly and more than willing to work with my small budget. We found a set of pre-​printed cards on gorgeous pale pink shimmer card stock. When I explained the bride’s colors are green and maroon, the shop assistant immediately offered to swap out the standard white envelopes for a set in moss green. Perfection! All 30 cards and envelopes cost about $ 40.
Their true speciality lies in custom invitations and announcements. You can flip through binders and binders full of samples and options — beginning sets run about $ 1.75 per invite. If I’d had a more forgiving deadline for the bridal shower I’m hosting, I absolutely would have gone this route.
The extra touches and sincere helpfulness are what truly make this small store a head above all others I’ve wandered into. They have tables upon tables of cute office supplies, party favors and paper goods, too (calendars, notecards, sticky notes, etc). Fits women who gravitate towards the Rifle Paper Co. and Little Canoe aesthetic.

I was looking for a a local place to get wedding invitations and came across this lovely neighborhood store on 45^th in Wallingford. Knowing nothing about wedding protocol, particularly when it came to announcements and RSVPs, they were not only extremely helpful but had many options to choose from. I found their prices to be very reasonable.
The shop itself is beautiful, which contributed to the fun of being their with my Mom to choose the invitations. It’s wonderfully soothing shabby chic style. They even rushed my order for the «save the date» because I was running a bit behind!
I highly recommend as a place to go for any special event announcements or for stationary!

Adorable boutique paper shop, with an impressive selection of cards and customizable invites (baby showers, weddings, etc). I loved the arrangements by color and theme, and liked that there were a lot of local card designers and unique prints that I hadn’t been seeing in other places. Would love to explore it more…

they have a very lovely shop, but honestly were not very professional or proactive in terms of customer service. being across from the bridal shop, i assume they get a lot of business and are simply jaded.
problems included:
1) multiple communication problems
2) slow to respond to emails
3) not centering things that clearly needed to be centered
4) seeming like they didn’t really want to help us when we asked questions
5) SLOW in whole proof, printing process
i wasn’t high maintenance, nor did i have a lot of requests, but honestly they were not very proactive or professional and almost acted at times like they couldn’t be bothered in the process of creating invitations.

Messed up the colors on our wedding place cards and they refused to re-​do them for us.
Do not use them for custom invitations!
My (now) husband and I bought our wedding invitations, programs and placecards here and it was a terrible experience.
When we first went, we were set up with one of their employees and she did not know anything about the invitations.
Later, we met one of the owners, Kathy, and she was extremely rude. When I was reading the proof our our programs, they had made some mistakes and she wanted to charge us extra for me correcting THEIR mistakes!
When I went to pick up the placecards, they had done half of them in the WRONG color and they refused to re-​do them. You think they would re-​do them or at least give us 50% off or something, but no – we got a measly 5% off – it was ridiculous! I would have gone elsewhere but it was about a week away from our wedding at the time.

If you follow my Pinterest boards (which I doubt you do, because. .. really), you already know crisp, white walls with bold, bright, and geometric accents of color is my favorite décor aesthetic. Turquoise zigzags, red stripes, gold polka dots? You had me at zig. If you have similar style sensibilities, walking into Paper Delights will be like walking into a dream. A magnificent and magical dream. Seriously, just browsing in this store for six minutes will measurably boost my mood. So many pretty, pretty things. Calendars, candles, books, stationery, cards for all occasions – scores of gorgeous gifts. Yes, items sold here are pricier than ones you can purchase at say, the 99¢ store, but if you are a fan of design, and believe the gifts you give and cards you send are a reflection of your style and taste, ’tis worth it to send a fancy one every now and then, no?

A coworker just told me about Paper Delights. I have driven up and down 45^th so many times and have never noticed this store! (What a travesty!!!) When I walked into Paper Delights, It was like stepping into a dream sequence. Everywhere I looked, I saw for the perfect gift for a friend (and myself), the ideal card for an occasion, and the glam product to brighten my office. I found my heart beating faster and immediately required myself to set a budget for my trip… those guys could have emptied my account this month!
The thing I really loved is that after I arrived, the saleswoman asked if I was looking for anything in particular, to which I remarked «uh…nooo» and she just said to ask if i needed anything and then let me be! I was left to enjoy, explore and discover all the treasures at Paper Delights. Cannot wait to go back! Thank goodness I discovered this BEFORE Christmas!

I’ll start out by saying that the product turned out great. Everything eventually came out the way we wanted it to, but it was a long painful road to get there. I like supporting local businesses, so we went to this shop in Wallingford and they had a free class about wedding stationary so we were jazzed. We made an appointment, sat down to pick out our theme for the stationary, and were thrilled to begin.
The editing process was a nightmare. I’m an English teacher and I noticed immediately that the word «Invitation» as in «Invitation to follow» was spelled completely wrong on our Save the Date! Hello, if you are in the wedding industry, shouldn’t this be a key word on a save the date? The alignment was CRAZY on the text, the font was inconsistently sized, and my head was about to explode with all the back and forth. This was just for the save the date. But, it was printed on amazing quality paper, the picture turned out gorgeous, and our guests went NUTS about them. In fact, our photographer STILL talks about the quality of our save the date because it was the best he has ever seen.
Fast forward to invitation time. I remembered the trouble with editing we had on the STD (ha) so I called in my big guns. Two of my friends are designers with fancy software that lets them draw arrows directly to the issues on the first draft of the invitations (there were about 20 issues). My girls start marking up the invite draft (digitally) and we submitted it again. In my head, I am thrilled at my ingenuity for having my friends help, because how could anyone possibly misunderstnad when there are arrows and clearly labeled problems and directions? Not only were all the changes NOT made, but I received an email essentially reprimanding me for not writing out the instructions. (Hello! I used the same program you used and there were no confusing elements, you just don’t like that I pointed out all the ways you messed up my invites! These were basic comments that my high school students could have understood and edited in Publisher) After about 16 emails back and forth and 2 printed drafts, the invites were approved and sent on their way. Gorgeous. Blue envelopes, cute liners, perfect fonts, everything. Just more of a hassle than it ever had to be.
Finally, the programs. At this point they told me it was going to cost me $ 10 a draft for every draft past the 3^rd one. Guess who wouldn’t need so many drafts if they didn’t mess up so much? Me! I’m sassy, I know it. We were going to do table numbers and place cards with them too, but then I realized that the previously mentioned designer friends could probably whip up the same thing for oh, FREE! and not be charged $ 1 each per place card. Ugh.
I LOVED the product, but not the process. Kathy and Alicia are SO nice, they are local, and everything is top quality when it is done, which is why they got three stars. However, they are a little pricey and clearly more of a «mom and pop» place with no real design background. It is a really cute shop though and I will definitely go there for unique cards and gifts in the future. I’m sure some brides would love the personal touch of all the emails back adn forth, but it felt SO excessive to me.

I lust over about 95% of the contents of this store. In fact, just take a truck and load it all into my house. I’m sure I can find a use for the remaining 5%. From cards to wrapping paper to pretty notepads and custom address stamps, Paper Delights stocks pretty much everything I don’t need but deeply desire. If you’re a fan of letterpress, girly but not fussy design, and all things paper, you’ll love this place. If only it didn’t cost $ 5 to buy a single card or $ 16 for a single spool of baker’s twine, I’d probably just live here.

I went in here to find a unique card and wrapping paper for a baby shower and I can’t wait to go to another event so I can come back and get more adorable things! This store is great for finding a wonderful homemade card or beautiful gift wrapping paper, and everything seems organized very well. There is a very good chance you will find something that matches what you need, and just the experience of exploring around puts you in an extremely girly state of constant «ooooh’s» and «ahhhh’s.»

As the name implies, Paper Delights is in fact, delightful. What a pleasure it was to work with Kathy and Alicia. I put off doing wedding invites because I thought it was going to be a long, arduous, boring task but I was wrong. It was actually one of the most fun parts of planning our wedding. They have a wonderful array of choices and walk you through every step. Alicia took lots of time to help come up with the best ways to phrase things (i.e. Respectfully an adult occasion) and the layout. I heard from several guests how great the invites looked. They also did our thank you notes, table numbers and place cards and all looked fantastic. Incredibly fast turnaround time too.
I highly recommend Paper Delights not just for weddings but even if you need the perfect birthday card and even a sweet, little gift to go along with it.

I visited for the first time because I was seeking a specific box set of Asian-​inspired nature cards I had seen elsewhere at a similar style store in southern California. This store had the same vibe but less selection. I was hoping for more.
The prices for this type of store were usual so when I turned over one card to see the price and saw $ 6.95 I thought to myself, ‘yep, that’s about right.’ And then I put it back on the shelf.
There were some thank you cards in a box set that was more reasonably priced at about $ 7.95 that were stylish.
I didn’t get the feeling this was a place for men to shop with all the specialty items about which I could care less. I left the store thinking, ‘am I missing something?‘
I liked how Cathy G. stated it, «the staff is friendly in a formal way.» True, true.

I like the layout of the new store. I appreciate the selection of many gift items BUT I don’t really gravitate to much here which I buy. I don’t buy.
I sometimes feel like the style they sell is kind of ‘stick up your bxxxxx” like ultra high end and not so much fun. It may be me.
The staff is friendly in a formal way.

This is the kind of store that gives me heart palpitations. It was bright, tidy, color-​coordinated, and everything was displayed artfully. I didn’t quite know where to look first – the tables of valentines and chocolates? The shelves and shelves of cards? The wall o’ wrapping paper?
The ladies working were super friendly and immediately asked me if I was looking for anything in particular, to which I muttered some distracted reply through my drool. They then assured me they could answer any questions that might pop into my poor little one-​track mind.
In my initial frenzy to absorb it all, I didn’t do the best job of noticing details, so I had to go through the whole place again. There was a surprising variety of products. My favorites were the notepads and sticky notes and little boxes of cards, all on the cutest papers. They also had a design-​it-​yourself day planner station, so you could pick the inserts you wanted. Love it.
My purchases included a packet of sweet little valentines (15 notes and cards for $ 6.25) and an address book/​birthday calendar for $ 14.00. I *almost* bought a baby shower card for my preggo sister that said «That is a FREAKIN’ cute baby!» but somehow managed to resist. (Even though I’m sure your baby will be freakin cute, Sissy.)
I will be back here for all my correspondence needs. It might be wise for the owners to invest in one of those portable defibrillators, though, cause dang. My ticker can’t handle all that adorable at once.
