I used to go to a fancy (read expensive) hair salon downtown for cut and balayage. I had sandy blonde hair before I went gray and wanted a similar, natural but highlighted color. They never quite got the correct color. A woman I work with recommended this place. It is the real deal people! The color and cut were much better than the aforementioned salon, and the price was a deal. Also the owner is lovely-​polite and friendly but unobtrusive.
If you’re worried about trusting your hair to a little nondescript salon in w.c., take a risk-​you won’t regret it!

I’ve been coming here since moving to the area. I love it! I’ve brought in a friend all the way from Ballard just so Phalla can do her hair. The owner is very sweet and very gentle when it comes to treating your hair. She bleached my newly grown hair and did an amazing job with it. She has great deals and offers great services!

I had a job interview the next day and hadn’t been able to afford a hair cut in ages. I saw they had a special going on for $ 15 cuts for women on that day of the week — obviously an amazing price.
Got right in, and got a fantastic haircut. The stylist definitely took time to do a nice job and ask what I wanted. As an aside my hair is growing out awkwardly from an asymmetrical cut, so that added an extra complication — but you wouldn’t know it from the final results. Really happy to have found this place :)

This place was amazing. The owner was very sweet, knowledgeable, and considerate! I have never had a hair cut so perfect. She really set the bar high! I wont be going anywhere else! Oh and great reasonable prices as well :)

I really liked my haircut. The result was a lot better than what I expected. My 2 year old son also got his haircut. It was no easy task but in the end, he looked fantastic. The owner is very nice and meticulous on how she cuts/​styles your hair. I’m so glad we found this gem.

It has been awhile since I have been here, but this was easily one of the best haircuts I have ever received. Phalla was amazng and took her time and gave me exactly what I needed. She made suggestions when she thought something would be a better fit and in the end my haircut was perfect! The scalp massage was absolutely incredible too. She is very affordable and well worth it!

Was in the area and stopped by for a men’s haircut — salon was clean and low-​key, Phalla was very friendly and took her time with my cut. Can’t say much about the location but the cut looked great and would definitely come back. Looked like they offered many other women’s hair services.
