This place has some great coffee. I’m not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to coffee but I’ll venture to say this place has a superior product when compared to your average coffee joint. The staff are extremely cool too. This is my new favorite coffee shop around Green Lake!

I had an iced coffee and it tasted great! I was really impressed, I normally add sugar but I didn’t even need to, it was perfect with just some half and half. It’s right across the street from Green Lake so a perfect stop if you’re walking around the lake or in the park! Seriously, DON’T GOTOSTARBUCKS, GOHEREINSTEAD. I was also pleasantly surprised that they have a $ 1 off iced tea offer with a Unilocal check-in! I’ll definitely be back to use it :)

The coffee is excellent, especially if you like dark roasts; staff is friendly; view of the lake is very pleasant.

Service sucks here. No wonder Starbucks is killing this place. The baristas are in their own worlds and hold private conversations and won’t take your order until they are done gossiping. They make the customers wait while they talk about eating yogurt. I waited 2 minutes in line with nobody else in store so they could talk about frozen yogurt.

I decided to venture out and skipped my regular«Fix» coffeehouse at Green lake which was full of pets and try Peet’s which has better than average chocolate for their mochas. However, as I logged onto the internet I noticed the page was loading slower than if I had built the webpage on the fly!(ok, I don’t actually know how to build a webpage, but I’m sure many in Seattle could have built it faster than it was loading). I looked around and 4 people were on laptop’s. I ran the test on (before connecting to VPN) and it took it almost a minute to load to run the test. I was also on a new Dell business computer — yes, I know, Dell is not so cool, but it did connect. I knew it was going to be bad — but to my surprise it was worse than bad. It was .30 Mbps — dial up speed for those who were around during the 90’s. Just to make sure no one mis-reads the 30 it was point three not 30 Mbps. I talked to the Barista and she said something about them getting a new router and how many people, and resetting… you know the story. I then proceeded to a customer on a laptop and said, excuse me, is the internet running slow for you. She replied, yes, it is always quite slow here. If you don’t need internet this is a great location and great coffee. However, it would be great if they had a sign that warned people, «BEWARESLOWINTERNET». I am now 3 blocks away at home with blazing fast internet from Comcast that does not cost that much.

Seriously, I haven’t reviewed this Peet’s? I spent years here with my friends, rehashing our lives and drinking way to many mochas. I love it. I love everything about it — a wonderful location overlooking Greenlake, wonderful baristas who make good coffee and are super accommodating, quality coffee and tea, and comfortable chairs. Come here, grab a drink, walk around Greenlake. Enjoy!

I normally go to that other Seattle place known for their coffee but when I’m nearby i prefer Peet’s. They have an unsweetened version of a matcha green tea that is yummy! ! Employees are fast and friendly here. And you’ll be on your way shortly. Parking sucks but you’re at Greenland and parking is never easy!

Even if I am a born Washingtonian and should always love Starbucks, Peets quality of Coffee definitely beats Starbucks. However, setting aside the coffee for a second, I was terribly disappointed in the customer service here at the Greenlake location. I am not entirely sure if it was because of the fact that I was a new customer but the workers here are stupid. The barista which took my order had given me the worst attitude, as if I had no idea what I was doing at the Peet’s or had no idea of what coffee even was. Regardless of if the barista was having a bad day/not used to a new customer or whatever his issue was but he was disrespectful and I had the worst first experience here. I simply was asking which one of the coffees were most popularly ordered because I was having a hard time choosing since there was so many to select from and he had the nerve to ruin a customers day in the early morning by giving me an attitude and a look!!! I wish I could have gotten the barista’s name, so he would know his mistake!!!

Peet’s doesn’t roast it’s coffee beans as much as Starbucks, so the taste is better and has a richer flavor. I drink both brands, but prefer Peet’s by a country mile.

Cute coffee shop, relatively reliable wifi, nice classical music, cute baristas! Green tea macha latte slightly on the bitter(or according to the barista, grassier) side. Good place to hang out if you’re sick of Starbucks! The prices seem quite comparable. Small, so I’d imagine gets filled really quickly during peak hours.

When I want intense, bold coffee without the acidity that tends to accompany coffees from other major coffee houses, I go here. I am never disappointed.

The Greenlake Peet’s Coffee is truly something to treasure in Seattle. Peet’s not only has a prime location in Seattle(At Greenlake Park), but also has some of the best coffee beverages out there. There is not a single drink on the menu that I would not enjoy; however, the new carmel macchiato is hands down the best out there. The service at Peet’s Coffee is consistently top notch. Free parking can be found nearby on side streets, particularly a few blocks behind the store, and free wifi is available in the store. Even on busy days, Peet’s is well staffed so lines move quickly. I highly recommend you try out Peet’s Coffee and Tea if you have not before, you will not be disappointed. Be sure to check in on Unilocal, there are often check in offers for new drinks to the menu.

Do NOT come here if you are looking to get some work done. The wifi is simply awful and that’s if it’s on for more than 2 mins. Do come here if you want to chat with a friend or pick up some coffee to power through a Greenlake stroll. Street parking can be tricky.

too conveniently located across from Greenlake, and therefore usually a line, and I hate lines. Though I like their drinks, and since it’s the closest coffee joint to home, I come here for my weekend coffee. Decent amount of seating if you prefer to to converse with your neighbors. They have a few seats and tables outside. Friendly service majority of the time and drinks are good, sometimes I think too good for a chain like this. Anyway there’s also ground beans or tea to buy and several tables to sit and enjoy. Now the separate registers for instant drinks and dried goods(tea n beans).
