This bakery is OUTSTANDING! Everything I have tried here has been excellent, and I’ve tried many pastries, sandwiches & soup. In my opinion, puff-pastry & croissants mark a great bakery and this one has a consistently fresh, buttery, flaky collection. First Rate! Also fun are their specialty treats made for the kiddies or in team colors. Run by a darling French couple this shop is cheery and bright & a wonderful place to hang out and people watch right in the heart of Magnolia Village. If you are wanting real French baked goods, forget the hassle of going to the Pike Market and trip on up to Magnolia. Friendly and free parking.

Bright, cheery, non-pretentious café with legit French baked goods(excellent butter croissant) and a solid, affordable cappuccino. Very friendly staff(I think the owner?). I don’t get to Magnolia often but seems like an excellent place to live near — lucky Magnolians!

A really good artisan bakery in the French tradition. High quality and notable pastries, quiche, bread, fresh made soups and sandwiches. The pastries and sweets get rotated daily with new flavors and variations. I especially love the tasty quiche Lorraine, the macarons, and the rich asparagus soup. The people are very friendly and you can feel their pride in what they make each day.

You will NOT be disappointed here! The pastries are as delicious as they look. I’ve been back for more and will definitely go again, frequently. I’ve had their croissants(chocolate pistacchio anyone?), brioche, tarts, pecan pie, macarons… Love that you never know what you’ll find every day. Seems like the chefs prepare whatever they are inspired with that day :) I have also ordered special desserts for Thanksgiving — divine!

Dropped in here with my son after a dentist appointment and was not disappointed. Picked up a few cookies that were delicious for my husband and I and my son picked out a macaroon that he told me was the best macaroon he as ever had(and he loves macaroons!). Will definitely come back to try more of the treats.

This bakery is amazing. It is run by a couple from France and their baked goods are as good as what I’ve had in Paris. Yum! Their croissants are super good.

Been here three times & everything I had so far was excellent. My top favorites are: choux, coconut meringue cookies & their vegan soup. They have hemp, almond and coconut milk options for espresso/latte — how thoughtful! Hemp milk chai is the best :). Oh and of course the macarons are great & come in creative/seasonal flavors such as spicy pumpkin macarons!

So happy in this place! I love the Stumptown coffee but everything I’ve had has been really excellent and at a fair price. Even the quiche was fantastic and fresh, the vegetables flavorful and not waterlogged. SO good. It’s a welcomed change.

I’m so excited to have this bakery here! I love that it’s family run. The hours are very good, because you can go before or after work. So far, I’ve tried a pistachio merengue, which was delish, and a pain au chocolat, also amazing!!! They serve Stumptown coffee, also great. The place is super cute inside and just has a really great vibe. The prices are very fair. I can see myself coming back here a lot more often! It feels like it belongs in the neighborhood. They even came out to give my dog a bowl of water and a treat, so bonus points for that! :) I really hope they stick around!!!

Listening to Alex speak as he serves up all things heavenly baked puts me right in Paris. My pistachio macaron was perfect. I ordered a hot chocolate(slightly on less chocolatey side) but in a beautiful new orange Le Creuset mug that matches my fav colored orange chairs + I ordered an 8oz and I was happily given a 12oz on the house. According to everyone around me, it was all delicious. As a gluten-free patron, the perfect smell was torturous with not too many options. But of course, Breads, Pain au Levain, Brioche buns, Viennoiseries. are all flying off the rack. It’s the real deal my friends. I’m waiting, respectfully so, for French Baking to go gluten-free, and when it does, I will live wherever this happens. For all you G.F.F.s out there, this written on opening day and maybe something G.F. and baked will be on the horizon). Non?
