Great phở and love the peanut sauce for the spring rolls!

Enjoyed the phở here they have different option but you can also make your own bowl! There broth and meat are so delicious! They also have 3 types of chile and this brown sauce which is sweet and really good. Must go if you want some really good phở, better than all the places I’ve been to in southern Cali.

Anyone who thinks you’ve had the«best» phở, please, I ask you to visit phở 99 and you’ll agree wth my review. This place is under-rated and I need to defend this place on some of the comments people left regarding their service. First I have no problem with the service with this place at all. I always asked for extra onions/cilantro/scallions and they always bring out an extra bowl of those for me! No extra costs no nothing! And dude, seriously, you’re in an authentic phở restaurant in the White Center! They sit you, take your order, hand you your food and that’s it! You go enjoy your phở! If you need anything, raise your hand or holler to servers, they’ll bring you what you need in a heartbeat. I mean, Seriously, what service do you expect? If you want servers coming checking in with you every freaking 5 mins, ask you how you like your food, find some nice fancy restaurants downtown or in Ballard! Back to the food, this place has D-MOST flavorable beef broth in town! Before my friend hooked me up with this place, I thought I had had some good phở AND I WASWRONG! Phở 99 will change your experience and views on any phở you’ve ever had! I am not exaggerating, ITISTHATGOOD! Ever since I was introduced to phở 99, I never go back to those places where I went before. And my friend told me the ones that I had from other places, they are the«white phở»! They are Americanized and not authentic. And they are right! I then brought my family and some friends there and seriously they all loved and agreed with how flavorable and different the broth is in phở 99! Three friends of mine live in Vancouver BC. After I took them to phở 99 last summer, every time they visit us, it’s a must-have on their list. And they’ll bring take-outs back to Canada!

I like phở and they make it good, but my husband prefer teriyaki and it’s poorly served compared to other places, before the soup used to have enough meat but now not. .keep in eye on it I still like the flavor. Services is alright..

Terrible service. We ordered a few dishes, including spring rolls that we never received… when we went to pay they tried to charge us for it. When I mentioned that we never received the spring rolls he apologized and said that they got busy however we watched them playing with children rather than paying attention to their customers. We totally love home style places but when the staff is to distracted there is a problem. We will not be returning.

Great phở at a decent price. The beef broth was very flavorful. No cream puffs like Than Bros, but the superior quality of the soup made up for it.

I got the tofu veggie phở. I was very satisfied with the beef broth, tofu and broccoli were very fresh. The interior is the usual phở shop style. The waiters were nice. The price was $ 9.25 for a large, but it was so big i had to take some home, so i think its worth the price.

I was craving phở so bad and after moving I thought I would try this place. It was okay. Will I be back yeah probably I honestly thought it was better than the Phở Than Brothers establishment. I am still in the search of that one amazing phở place though…

This is one of the best and I’m so glad I don’t have to drive to the International District for great Vietnamese food. I have to try 3 of the dishes and already have eaten the vermicelli bowl with grilled pork and it was great. Got me some iced coffee and just really enjoyed a great lunch. There’s something about Vietnamese food that makes me feel it’s healthy. So much better than putting down a burger and fries. I want to try the Phở and the rice dish with the fried egg on it. I’ll be back.

This restaurant makes the best Phở I have ever had(OK I have probably only eaten at 10) It’s the broth that makes it soo good. The personell are all very friendly and do a great job packing up for take out to assure the same great taste at home as in the cozy restaurant. OK the parking stalls are minuscule and there typically are a bunch of hobos congregating on milk crates in the dirt just around the corner since there is a liquor store across the way. This just adds to making for a more exotic ambiance and hey this is WC after all. I never witnessed any kind of trouble, never had my car scratched or even been pan handled except for the friendly Salvation Army volunteer with the red bucket. And the price is very reasonable especially if 2 peeps share the large portion.

I’m surprised I haven’t wrote a review for this place yet, being that it’s my go-to Phở shop. I’ll keep this review short and sweet, because there’s not much to say other than it’s my favorite in the area. I am absolutely in love with their grilled pork vermicelli bowls! They have a good variety of food here besides just Phở, which is why I also come here. The food comes out quick, yet still fresh and it’s a small enough shop that if you need something, you can just look up and they’ll see you and come right over to assist. Give ‘em a try!

If you’re hungover, this is the best phở spot to go to. I’ve been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Phở is probably my favorite noodle dish to eat and their broth is so yummy. Oh yeah, don’t forget the spring rolls… hands down best peanut sauce I’ve ever had!

The food is good. The waiter so rude(the young man). EVERYTIME I come Phở 99, his attitude really bad. He didn’t say anything when he took order and if I repeat my order for make sure, he just stared at me in rude eyes. I tried to come back 2 times but he still acted like this with me and my group friends. Anyway the phở really delicious. The broth of Phở 99 always make me come back and feel a little regret because of the rude waiter.

This place is great for a quick, cheap dinner. The staff is friendly, the service is quick and the food tastes good for sure. Their Vietnamese coffee is strong as hell(so good :). The vermicelli is on point and the phở tastes traditional.

This has to be my favorite place to get bun bo hue in the white center area. I know the owner of this place and he’s a pretty cool guy since he’s friends with my dad. So its nice seeing him every once in a while. I’ve been eating here since I was a little girl and I would order bun bo hue every single time. And I don’t think i’ll ever get tired of eating it! I promise you, you wont even regret it. It has the perfect amount of spiciness, and the flavors are really great! I find that place very comforting. Even though I like to go in at the least busiest hours, its still pretty chill. I can’t really tell you about anything else on the menu bc i havent had much, but I can tell they always try their best to improve the littlest things.

Best phở in white center. They remember just how I like it and create it down to the very last detail of my OCD request. More broth. Less meat. Ridiculous amount of greens and onions. Perfect :)

Le sigh! Again, I order Bun Bo Hue from a Phở place. What’s the definition of insanity again? The soup was FILLED with meat and cheap for the size. It just wasn’t authentic Bun Bo Hue. I know better to order sometimes but you never know unless you try. The veggies where all wrong. The meat was all wrong. The flavor was sort of close, but it was also super oily. My dining companions food looked pretty good and they all seemed happy with their choices. Place is in an awesome location(I dig White Center) and cheap, just don’t expect to get a real bowl of BBH.
