Great spot to get hot and very fresh phở on rainy chilly day! Service if fast, you have your choice of dining in or take out. Very consistent and satisfying. Dont be turned off by the location and the exterior, this is great place.

Overall, I think Phở Binh is okay. Pros: –Lots of seating –Small parking lot –Reasonable prices –Solid service Con: –My Phở Tai meat was super chewy. Again, I think Phở Binh is A-OK.

Tasty phở! This definitely one of my go-to places for Phở when I’m in North Seattle(Phở Tic Tac is another great contender). They also have tons of random magazines to peruse through while you wait for your order, yay!

A good go-to phở place. Unlike many other popular cash-only phở restaurants in Seattle, you can pay by card at Phở Binh, which was(to be honest) what drew me there in the first place. The phở is tasty, and the banh mi is delicious. They also make a good homemade lemon soda. My one complaint with this place is that in the winter it’s often freezing cold. To be fair, they do what they can — the dining room is literally dotted with space heaters. And, of course, the phở warms you up fast once it arrives. But they probably should invest in some insulated windows or something.

Good food and good service. Went for a late lunch or really early dinner after a busy day. We were the only customers so we might have received special treatment. My wifes Phở was good. She and the owner discussed some options and she enjoyed that. I had a rice dish with pork. The fish sauce, something I love about Vietnamese cooking was good(a little small on the portion, but they brought me more) and we enjoyed it. We have certainly had better Vietnamese food, but it was good and we will go back. Parking and getting in and out during heavy traffic is challenging. You have to be at least a little committed to going there. It is worth it. I wouldn’t encourage you to drive out of your way too far, but if you are near by and haven’t given it a chance — do so and enjoy yourself. Oh, my wife enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee too and she is picky about that.

We like this place. The pork/shrimp spring rolls are wonderful. Also we like the noodle dishes.

Eh. Phở was mediocre. It was very clear which I understand is from diluting it throughout the day; but the fact remains. It probably wasn’t a booming business day, so it should have been a lot more rich. It’s probably the cleanest Phở joint I’ve been in. Eating in would work out well here. The location is good, and they have some off street parking.

Phở Saigon is the newest joint to occupy this designated phở-spot, and it does not disappoint. The phở is consistently aromatic, flavourful and fresh, and the small size is more than enough for me. The bun is hit and miss here, a few times the noodles were thicker than usual and watery. However most of the other times I have ordered it, it has been pretty good. The meat is not bursting with flavour(compared to phở kim), but I can live with it. I go here again all the time with my boyfriend as it is right by our house, the food is damn good– and the server is a familiar face– he also works at Phở Cyclo, my favourite phở joint on the hill.

Really good pork banh mi sandwich — the best I’ve had yet… Very friendly staff — a nice clean restaurant…

While evangelizing about the wonderfulness of Phở, Phở Tour 2008 brought myself and a couple of friends to Phở Binh. It was. .. . meh. The shrimp spring rolls left a little to be desired. .. . the Phở had little to no cilantro or green onions in it which was disappointing. They did have bubble tea though! The person making it had only made blended bubble tea before, so I appreciated that he made milk bubble tea for me upon request. Anyhoo, I’m glad we stopped, but we probably won’t be stopping by again.

*This review is for their Banh Mi sandwich, not the Phở. This place makes a delicious Vietnamese sandwich. I love the how the flavorful meat compliments with the freshness of the vegetables(carrots, cucumber, and cilantro). Also, the bread was very light so it didn’t overpower the meat. The only problem is, this sandwich costs about $ 4 which is a bit high for a banh mi. Oh well, I am not going to drive all the way to the ID to get one. Zipzap Zubidy Bop! *Update, I should also note that they didn’t mind that I ate the banh mi at the restaurant.

This unassuming Vietnamese restaurant near Shoreline Community College is great! I like that you can get all of the noodle soups with either egg or rice noodles. I think I might like getting phở here better than at Than Brothers but they each have their own appeal. I don’t think it’s fair to say that any of the much-hyped Vietnamese restaurants in the ID are any better than Phở Binh either. edit: I’ve come here several times at this point. There’s actually a lot of stuff on the menu and everything I’ve had so far has been really good. The owner of this place is a nice guy, and the service is friendly and professional.

I live very near here and used to frequent it when it was Phở Kim. It was good but not outstanding but the family who owned it was very nice. I just went for my first time since it changed hands and it is now called Phở Binh. I have to say that this is the way every small business should be run and besides the food improving the service was outstanding. While waiting for my take out order of phở(chicken for me and phở with tripe and meatballs for my honey + a pork sandwich to share) I was shown a seat and given hot tea. Perhaps 5 minutes later the owner came to my table and explained that my order would be delayed because he felt our sandwich wasn’t perfect and he was having it remade. He seemed apprehensive that I would take offense at the delay but I explained that I appreciated his attention and I didn’t mind waiting for good food. Less than 5 minutes later my order was ready and the owner made sure that as a new customer I knew that if ANYTHING was wrong with my order to call them and I’d get a full refund. I belive he felt comfortable making this guaruntee because the phở was wonderful(much better than any I’ve had) and that pork sandwich was a thing of beauty. The pork was grilled and had a wonderful smoky flavor and tender texture the baguette was crusty outside and soft inside and all the veggies were fresh and crisp. Seriously I could eat that sandwich every day and be happy. In fact I think I’m going to have that for dinner tonight.

When this place was called«Phở Kim,» I had to try it.(Remember, «phở» is pronounced«fuh».) Phở Kim was pretty mediocre. Its successor, however, Phở Binh, is much better. Their beef broth is good. They didn’t overcook the noodles and everything else seemed fresh. The décor is predictably«Asian cheesy,» but it was clean. There was no divey feel to the place(like Than Bros. on Aurora – eww!). The most remarkable thing about Phở Binh though is how nice and friendly the owners/staff are to the customers. It was almost bordering on obsequious! But still, such a nice change of pace from your typical surly phở worker. They offer a lot more than phở, so maybe I’ll come back to check out their other dishes someday…
