I have been a patient on several occasions when I have hurt my back falling off a ladder for example, hurt my shoulder or suffer from weekend-warrior syndrome of thinking I am 23 when I am 3times that age. Gretchen Lubin is exceptional. Let me talk about three areas of especial care: she focuses on communicating what she sees in your muscles, tendons and all those bits that make us functionally useful… she looks, listens, learns and explains she not just helps you learn what to do to help yourself recover, she also listens to you as you try to learn over the course of treatment, for her goal is to help you become efficient and effective again, she focuses on painless recovery… rather than the no-pain no-gain mentality, she specializes in progressive learning and gentleness of exercises coupled with effective ultrasound, TenS and massage. The combination of skills and her personal commitment to each patient make her very special.

Gretchen was fantastic. She brought increased range of motion and comfort to my frozen shoulder. She took the time to explain and show me what was happening on the inside with a skeleton and muscular illustrations. I’d been to another physical therapist several months before and got no relief. Gretchen really knows her stuff. She works hard to make sure her patients are improving. She also gave me future exercises to add as my shoulder improves. Highly recommended!

outstanding — they crafted a plan specific to my needs, adapted it as my condition evolved, and really knew their stuff. My therapist was Shari Thomas — highest recco.
