On repeated occasions, I have done business with Prime Tune. Each experience has been positive, and they exceed my customer expectations. It is difficult to find an auto shop that has the passion and competency to work on classic cars.
A true test of a good auto shop is whether they can handle novel tasks. On my 1953 Ford, I wanted to convert from a factory, antiquated transmission to a modern day C-​4 automatic. Although the shop mechanics had never performed such a conversion, they took the time to resource parts and work with their vendors in preparation for the project. Most importantly, their quote for parts and labor was within their estimated range.
The quote was accurate, the work was done properly and the mechanics were friendly. These are the hallmarks of a good auto shop.
