Called when my child was 6mo to put her on the waitlist for preschool. Tip: If you want to get in, you must go to the tour. Tip: If you work and you have a child that is and infant yet old enough for daycare, go to the tour. The likelihood you get it in 99% — even from the waitlist. After all, this is a business and they see a steady client from infancy through kindergarten. Fact: There is no half-day part time enrollment attendance(*at least when I went and spoke to Director in 2015). Part Time is T/Th 6 am to 6pm. Maybe my days are off but it’s definitely 6am to 6pm. So, all day care. Simply fantastic if you work! Fact: Acceptance Letters to the nursery school go out in June. Most Nursery schools want contracts signed and payment by April or May. So, if you really have your heart set on this school and you have a back-up school, you will be forced to forfeit your money(at least first month’s tuition to your back-up school) when you find out you are accepted in June. Fact: Even 2 ½ years later, you will still be on a waitlist. Tip: Make sure the director likes you. Don’t ask too many probing questions or you will be seen as a problem parent and may not get accepted. Warm up to her. If she likes you, your chances of getting accepted skyrocket. My truth: When I went there, every class had at least one child crying in it at a time. Whether it was outdoor rec time, or indoor activity. There are about 4 – 5 classrooms(*maybe more? I can’t recall) at any given time. Babies cry. It’s a given. ‘Arsenic hour’ happens. Yet, in every other class as well during one tour to 2, 3, 4 year olds? I don’t know. Academic wise it’s great. They have art classes with septo-, octo-, and nonagenarians. Culture rich. Yet, I don’t think I want my child to cry so much because the learning is most important. Maybe I was there on an off day? I hope so. Good luck!

Amazing place, great staff, super clean, and great place to bring a loved one and or child for nursery. The view is ecstatic! Many nuns there and amazing older people.

I have had my almost 3 year old at the ILC since she was a baby. I have been very happy with the program. The teachers are all very creative and qualified. The classrooms are all very open and friendly. There is usually a wait and enrollment starts in September. They are very conscious of how they pick the classes(ages, male to female ratio) I would recommend going and talking to the director since the phone is just a VM for the wait list.

I just called Mt St Vincent’s Child Care phone number and listened to a recording that says their wait list is so long that they’re currently no longer adding names to it. Just FYI.
