Went here with my buddy on a Friday night, wasn’t too packed. It’s a pretty chill place, compared to when I see it packed like a mofo on Seahawks game days. The bartender was pretty cool. My friend who is a kick ass marine decides to try the most fruity beer, which tastes like sh^t — apridunkel… It tastes like fermented apricots that was used after I stepped on them with my shoe. I was about to puke… He let me swap it for something else, at no charge, which I thought was cool. Nice relaxing place to go to. They got flat screens and plenty of table tops.

I’ve been here a few times, especially before games; but I think that’s what they why they do well — it’s one of the few places conveniently located near both major sports stadiums. In my most recent visit I came for the Pyramid Snow Cap Party and went to the bar beforehand, and the food was typical. My friends ordered the Blackened Chicken Sandwich and I had the Nachos with Beef. As with every visit the food is not good, but is slightly better than fast food grub. My friend asked for her chicken sandwich without cheese since she’s lactose intolerant but there was melted cheese on her chicken, which she had to scrap off. I paid two dollars extra for beef but it was hardly on there, and when I did find the ground beef, it was so overcooked! The chips were also stale. I do like their Outburst Imperial IPA and fries. But that’s pretty much about it for what to order here. The space is nice, as it’s very large with two stories. I do like that Pyramid puts on fun events like the Snow Cap Party and have opened up their patio/parking lot area for dog events. The service is generally pretty friendly. I just don’t think anyone should ever eat here. Drink an IPA, but go elsewhere for dinner. There are two parking lots on each side of the building, which is complimentary for customers. If you come during a game day the place will be packed, and very difficult to find a place out on the patio and bar. Get there early! Also, they don’t serve hard alcohol here so no round of shots. Stars are for the events they put on, space and service.

Honestly the food here is pretty average nothing really all that spectacular to come here and eat. The beer is really good though, the only thing about it is I came here before a Sounder’s game and they take all their deals away on game day which I think is a little backwards thinking but I’m sure that they do this in order to make more money. Overall really good location if you are really early to a game and want to kill time. A lot of people do this, as I was there like every table had people just watching tv and only order one dish for like 5 people to share. So not the best place to go on game day late. Had the Chicken Wings and it was overpriced for what you got, don’t be fooled on the menu it says a pound but you for sure fall way short of that mark. The fries with rosemary and garlic was pretty good and they do give you quite a bit of food. For drinks my girlfriend and I had the Alehouse Amber and Apricot Ale and the Crispin Hard Apple Cider and all of them were very good. The only negative like I said is that since it was game day each drink was 6 bucks,. basically what you pay inside the stadium.

I have been to the Pyramid Brewery several times(often before Mariner’s games) but this is my first review. They make good beer – and they have some magic where the Hefeweisen there is even better than the bottles. Even though there were no events, it was still pretty busy. We sat in the bar area and had the nachos. We ordered them with chicken(which my wife did not want) and that was probably the worse thing. The chips, guacamole, salsa, and cheese were all good. As my wife said about chicken«it seemed they just opened can and dumped it on top.» In other visits, I think the fried fish is probably my favorite, although the salmon is also good.

Great place to grab a drink & bite of food before the games. The restaurant is conveniently located across the street from Century Link and Safeco stadiums. Usually there’s a beer garden set up in front of the restaurant to accommodate more people. The food here is decent and better than your average bar food. The beer selection is great and there’s a good variety of seasonal beers. The apricot ale is a must try– it’s a unique and smooth light beer. My only con about this place is the limited parking which is not surprising for a place so close to the stadiums.

This was a typical brewery. It didnt seem to have anything special in the way of food, drinks or ambiance. We enjoyed meeting new friends there but otherwise bland.

I stopped in here before an event at CenturyLink with a friend. Neither of us had been here before, but I’d always think, «You know, I should stop in there one of these days.» Now that I had some time to kill, in we went. The interior was approximately 50% makeshift wood furniture and 50% playoff sports. We sat by the kitchen and the waitress took our orders. Pyramid’s building doubles as it’s sizable brewery, which we saw through giant windows in the dining area. We both ordered caesars and beers, along with a pizza and burger, as well as a couple of lighter beers. Our grand total was around $ 20 – 25, which was good for the serving size. Whenever an event is happening, Pyramid is always jam packed, but it’s worth the effort to grab something before or after the game.

I’m not a huge beer drinker but I appreciated the service we got and the food wasn’t terrible. Considering how much you’ll be paying an arm and a leg for the same thing at Safeco I would say this is the lesser of two evils. The nachos were pretty okay but like I said lesser of two evils. Open seating in the back so that makes it pretty convenient.

They make a good burger and the stout I had was good. We had a group come in before a game and the service was s a little slow. It is located right across the street from the stadiums so it makes it very convenient to go to for a game meal and drink.

Pyramid gives me this weird vibe of «We’re kind of an independent brewery but we also have 2 other partners(Portland Brewing and Kona Brewing) so we’re sort of in that middle-ground not-quite sure what to do with our restaurant side» While on paper the menu looks interesting, it’s not quite bar food(especially given the price) and the execution leaves a bit to be desired. Perhaps they just need a chef to slap the BOH crew around a bit? Perhaps they just need to realize that people really do love cheap street food and people really just want something to nibble on when they drink? That said, I come here for beer. The star of every brewery should be beer. Their selection is solid, with the Apricot Wheat being particularly wonderful to drink. Their in-house exclusives don’t disappoint, even if they don’t push the envelope.

Had the cheese and bacon jam stuffed jalepenos, as well as the salmon sliders. The jalepenos were hot, but delicious. The sliders were tasty, but were kind of dry after a few bites. Also ordered a beer sampler, 5 draws in 3 oz glasses for $ 10. Can’t beat that.

Ladies night would have not been the same if we did not start our night at Pyramid Breweries! Just before the Mariners game begun my girls and I stopped in for a bite to eat and libation. I had the Pub fish sandwich and the other 7 ladies I came with ordered everything else. The menu is light on game days but there is plenty of signature dishes to choose from. They serve American food. The pub fish was delicious! It features a beer battered cod with tarter sauce and the regular burger fixings. Although, I enjoyed my selection I couldnt help but to be jealous of the chicken nachos to my right. They looked amazing and my friend confirmed it! I will return to this Sodo district gem and certainly recommend it :)!

I always love coming here after an event at Safeco or Century Link. I tried the CDA(seasonal) on draft, and I found it pretty good. Ordered a BBQ chicken, pizza, no complaints. I have tried their pulled pork, also pretty good. This place seems to be always busy. Which is good, I have never had trouble getting a seat. Service is always pretty decent.

Great BEER. oh yea th3 food is pretty good too. A seafood inspired menu for sure. They have some really good chowder. The calamari is pretty decent and not too chewy. OK back to the BEER. They have several of their own brews that are very tasty. This is an to go before a game or concert and go to the beer garden in the summer.

On a Gameday(Seahawks, Sounders, or M’s), you just want to be able to grab a bite, a beer, and get out before the first whistle/pitch. For Pyramid, the beer is fantastic(every possible type and variety you could want to try), the food is okay, but what really stands out here is the service. For a packed house, our drinks were never empty and waiting, and our checks were ready to go when needed. The beer garden is great too when it’s nice out, but if not, I’d recommend trying to get a table in the upper loft for some of the better servers…

This is a great spot to go before a Mariners game. I typically come here every time just because it’s really convenient. The food is mediocre. Nothing to get excited over. Their hummus is pretty good, last night I got their chorizo dip & I could only eat a quarter of it because it had so much grease pooled in it. I don’t drink, but they have a large beer selection that they brew. Service is 50⁄50. They’re usually always really busy, but depending on the server, it’s sometimes really great or sometimes they forget about you & check on you maybe once if you’re lucky. Like I said, it’s super close to the stadium(right across the street), which is why I go so often. If it wasn’t within walking distance, I wouldn’t go out of my way. Nor would I suggest coming here if I wasn’t going to a baseball game.

It’s a great place to come before baseball/football/soccer games and not pay stadium prices, but I don’t think anything is really standout about the food or drink menu. I’ve been here several times and the food has just been ok, not amazing. The garlic fries are pretty tasty and your best bet for food is getting a burger. I’m not a huge fan of the pizza or the fish and chips. The happy hour menu is good, except that they remove happy hour if there’s any Mariners, Sounders, or Seahawks games going on. I like to go to the beer garden before games for $ 5.50 beers, but it’s cash only so it’s kind of a pain to make sure I have cash beforehand. They’ve got tents set up in the event the Seattle rain is in town. They also have cornhole set up so that’s kind of fun. The location to the light rail and the stadiums is great. One thing I love about Pyramid is that they are great when it comes to large groups. I’ve been here several times with a group of almost 20 people and the service has been great. They are always on point with food and drink service and willing to split checks at the end. Well done!

I came here for the beer, and felt like no one wanted to give me any. Took forever and a day(25 minutes), before anyone decided to come to our table after we’ve been waving the uninterested-to-serve-you staff down. We ordered a beer flight, and when our order came, she rushed away without telling us which beers were which. Waved her down again to ask what they were, and after further tasting, we realized she didn’t even tell us the beers correctly. I’d give it one star based on service, and the extra star is for good beer. Why was that so hard for you Pyramid server. Why. Why did you have to ruin Pyramid hefes for me.

Man oh man did this place have a rough night the other night. I don’t know what was happening in the back of the house but something was definitely up. We got to our table and our drink order was taken right away. It then took about 15 minutes for someone to come over and take our order. I ordered a chipotle pasta while my friend ordered a hamburger. About 30 minutes later, both of our food arrived… mine was edible but my friend who ordered a medium cooked hamburger ended up getting one that was completely charred. He decided to send it back and when we looked at the kitchen, there were about a dozen meals sitting under the heat lamps waiting to go out that were just sitting there. I’m convinced that his was just sitting under the heat lamp — it was probably medium at one time or another. Anyway, it took about another 30 — 45 minutes for him to get his burger. When it finally arrived, it was just as charred as the first one and had a strange sauce on it that he didn’t request. He decided to return it again and just opted not to get anything. Normally I’d give this place one star but the manager came over and addressed the issue — he asked if my friend wanted anything else and he said no and apologized profusely. I figured that he would comp his meal but didn’t realize that our whole bill was comped. It would have been helpful for someone to tell us this because we spent a bunch of time trying to get someone’s attention to get the check and were finally told that we didn’t have one. Come here during the summer pre-Mariner’s games for the beer garden… that’s what they do best.
