I can’t believe I had to make account for review of the terrible experience. Usually I liked Qdoba and went there get some food regularly. BUT, this time,(I’m writing this literally Right after I finished with my food from Qdoba) the Amount of food was horrible. I got two bowls(white rice, pinto beans, steaks, veggies, cheese, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream and sauces) with pretty lots of ingredients. And whenever I got same bowls like today, I and my husband were totally full. But you will see my photos that I took. It was barely filled half of bowl. The crazy thing is I ask him to put more ingredients but that’s what I got. My husband finished with the food literally in 1 min. This is crazy and nothing to eat with $ 19 food. I don’t know what happened in Qdoba. But if they put that much of food, why don’t they change the name to PLATE, not BOWL. and change the lid of bowl to flat one. I got my food and paid. But still hungry !! Huh

We had lunch catered from this location and it was great! They put out trays of food for build your own burrito bowls so it was both flexible and healthy. The steak was well spiced, very flavorful and not tough at all. Good pico de gallo as well. We also had a tray of some of the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had. I was seriously impressed! Delivery and setup was prompt as well, and they included plenty of utensils, and compostable bowls. A good choice for larger office meetings or lunches.

Decent food and free guac! They have a lot of meat choices and all fairly priced. I’ve gotten bowls and burritos here before but today I tried out a knockout taco! The two timer was awesome. Great texture and the meat was delish! Man I wish I got a bowl or burrito though, the guy making them today was LOADINGTHEMUP! Like twice as much as the Tex-mex competitor a few blocks away does. I wish their bowls(the physical thing) held up better and didn’t degrade so quickly. I always have to transfer my food to a different container before eating or else my desk/table/whatever will be soaked by the time I’m done.

Rung up incorrectly, though it was a error with their POS there were many things that could have been done to remedy the issue and though working in the food service industry, probably more a problem with their management and less the staff currently working, awful costumer service. Edit: to clarify was charged nearly double

At Qdoba you have a reasonably easy opportunity to get a healthful lunch for about eight and a half bucks out the door. They have whole wheat tortillas for their burritos. Their brown rice isn’t really whole grain brown rice, but they’ll let you take both black and pinto beans instead of beans and rice at no extra charge if you leave off the rice. You can get grilled veggies, corn salsa, pico de gallo, and hot salsa all together at no extra charge, so it’s actually possible to come out with a serving or two of vegetation in your burrito. Tastes OK if you’re not expecting actual Mexican food, and it’s quick.

Dropped by again for lunch and decided that I need to update my review. The service this time was excellent and all of my previous grevuences are settled. Be aware that if you come between 12pm and 1pm there will be lunch rush, but they handle it well and you’ll be able to place your order in minutes. Great that there is free parking available and the inside is nice and clean with ample seating.

One of the very few restaurants with free parking in the University District. Qdoba is generally pretty consistent. Always remember: guac is included.

Didn’t start regularly going here until the Chipotle E. coli crisis. Benefits of going here over the rival U-District Chipotle: 1. Good, free parking lot 2. Open an hour later 3. No E. coli

100x better than Chipotle. Better quality and taste, and free queso and guac? What more is there to say.

Lady working is seriously small handed She is a fat person but her hands are so small it can only feed an ant, not human. I ordered a buritto bowl and she gave me a half scoop of everything. I complained that its too little. Then She told me ITSANEXTRACHARGE. I said it wasnt like this when I was at the other location, but she didnt listen. I paid 8.90 for that little baby bowl. I felt not enough and had a piece of pizza after I finished the bowl from Qudoba. I am a female with 95 pounds. As you can see from my weight, I dont eat much. But what I got at qudoba was insufficient. Seriously that lady had to be retrained or this Qudoba at Udic will shut down because nobody will come over to waste their money. Chipole gives me 3x of what I got from Qudoba. Foods taste pretty much the same in qudoba and chipole, but I know where to spend the money now.

Decent flavor but food was lukewarm. Made me feel like it had probably been holding for a looong time. No ambiance. Creepy location. Had never been to one of these before. Won’t be back. I realize it’s fast food but I’ll stick with Chipotle.

Qdoba is so excellent. The queso the guac… all incredible. They’re in my opinion the best large chain Mexican food I’ve ever had. Incredible value, incredible service, incredible food. Couldn’t be happier.

The staff here are super friendly, problem solving, and helpful. I choose this location over others just because of the staff.

I don’t think you can compare Qdoba to Chipotle, they’re not that similar in my opinion. I feel like Qdoba has more different entrée options. If I had to compare Qdoba to another burrito joint it would probably be Mucho Burrito. With that being said, Qdoba wins! I had only ever tried Qdoba catering because my office loves to order it. The catering is good and I’m glad I got to try it out in the restaurant! The space is clean, bright, and open. The workers are very friendly as well! I ordered a chipotle smothered burrito which was great! It’s a little bit pricier than your normal fast food burrito joint but the sauce and guac comes freeEEEeeEe! The size of my burrito was just right for me– not overstuffed and I didn’t have to ask for extra rice. The chipotle smother was tasty with just the right amount of spice. I sat down with a bottle of cholula(one of my favs, so excited that they have it!) and didn’t use it because I’m kinda a weenie when it comes to spice and the level on the sauce was just perfect. I have two types of Mexican food cravings: the fresh cilantro-lime kind, and the cheesy bean kind and Qdoba caters to both of those cravings!

This place gets the job done and decently well. Whenever I crave a burrito, I usually go to Chipotle but they tend to be packed around regular mealtimes. Qdoba is a couple blocks removed from the Ave, which means it is usually much emptier. They have many more options than Chipotle, including«free» queso and guac but the base prices of the burrito is slightly higher than Chipotle. Qdoba has a great selection of vegetables, and I do appreciate that I can load up the burrito with non-rice things like grilled veggies without having to pay extra. The meat can sometimes be a little dry, which might be a symptom of an empty restaurant. They have one of those electronic soda machines where you can make all kinds of soda flavor combos, which is a nice little novelty. Overall, its slightly inferior to Chipotle but when judged on its own accord, definitely a decent lunch spot with plenty of options.

Move aside Chipotle! A new burrito hot spot has arrived. Well, not necessarily new. But new to me because I just discovered this place. I love the fact that the staff here is so friendly and that they really pack on the guac… which, did I mention is FREE?! Yum yum yum. Goodbye Chipotle, hello Qdoba.

It’s hard not to compare this location to the University Chipotle location. Both share similar menus and here is my take: UW Qdoba: — has the new coca cola touch screen soda machine — includes«free guacamole» on most entrees,(but they cost more than Chipotle) — has fresh lettuce and flavored brown rice, tastier than Chipotle UW Chipotle — a veggie bowl, side of chips, and regular soda is under 11 dollars, while the same at Qdoba is more. — they provide a tofu option(sofritas) while Qdoba does not — portions are larger than Chipotle So though both have value Chipotle wins for me and I predict the death of Qdoba over time.

Fast food that is comparable to Chipotle. Many people are loyal to one or the other but not both. I stop here a lot for lunch at work and really like it. The employees are usually pretty stand offish, but they are super quick to get you on your way. Love that there is parking, which can be hard to come by in the U District!

Wow, there’s an astounding number of reviews here talking about Chipotle! But I thought we were talking about Qdoba here. It’s like you can’t have a burrito restaurant in the U-District without having everyone compare it to Chipotle. Anyway, I’m not going to say which one is better, but Qdoba is awesome especially if you have that coupon from the UW Student’s Handbook. It’s still basically a fast food restaurant serving inauthentic Mexican food at the end of the day, but can you really complain when the food is so good, cheap, and filling? Like a Subway assembly line, a meal here is made by the person behind the counter asking you what you want in your burrito or whatever it is you’re getting. I had a Mex Gum Pork, which doesn’t sound like anything to me, but I watched as the parts were ladled into a cardboard bowl to make a soup. Yeah, it’s some kind of soup, and I got it with pork, tomatoes, corn, cheese, and whipped cream. It’s not exactly what I was expecting, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t like it. Plus, it only costs around eight dollars and is surprisingly filling. Since it’s customizable to an extent, I suppose there could have been even more to it if I had only asked. But since this was my first time here and I was feeling in an adventurous mood, I decided to go for the biggest burrito they had. After the previous thing, there wasn’t much more food could do for me, but I just had to see how they stood up to the fabled Chipotle burritos! I guess the first thing to say about the Queso steak burrito here is that it’s extremely hefty. They roll a lot of stuff into that one burrito, and it’s another meal in itself. They certainly don’t skimp on quantity here. As for whether it’s better than the competition, I’m not going to say, but if you can find your way to 45th Street and make your way through the door in the building that doesn’t lead to the bank, you’re probably in for some decent food. Yet this humble restaurant seems to be underappreciated. The place was rather quiet while I was there and with hardly any customers. There were a few people watching a basketball game on TV, but that was about it. I feel bad for these guys because they’re clearly overshadowed by that other restaurant. I even asked whether they had a tip jar, but the guy behind the counter said they didn’t. It’s sad how they have to put up with this kind of labor and not get any tips, but I’m afraid that’s just how their system works.
