I was told by my wife that her and her Co workers loved this place, best chicken sandwich around… well, I have given it two tries… great service, but food is meh at best, and all of it is served luke warm or cold. And very expensive for size of the meals. I will happily pay a bit more for piping hot, good servings… the pork fritters are good, but would be fantastic if they were hot. Wife ordered a burger this tine, with bacon, well done… it came medium rare, cold, no bacon… I tried the special, a Kobe beef sandwich… excellent sauce, crisp(cold) fries, meat was chewy… au jus was tasty, but cold… waitress gave my wife a free chicken sando in place of undercooked burger, which was nice, but she couldn’t manage to keep our drinks refilled… only about 20 customers in the place at a late lunch… will not be going back… $ 52+tip for two people, should wow me… not so much.

I’d Definitely give Quality athletics a 3.5… and close to a 4! Lets break it down: Ambiance: QA is an AWESOME bar/resturant scene. The ceilings are high and the ambiance is great! The inside looks like a really clean, tidy bar with a locker room/sports theme. They do a great job with the look and the fireplaces outside are so cool. Food: So I’ve only been once and I ordered the Burger special(a new promotion for Josh Henderson’s new store opening soon). The burger comes with a side of wavy fries, a cream beer, and of course the burger. the fries were surprisingly good. Like… REALLYGOOD. Similarly the beer was surprisingly good. The only real disappointment was the burger! Surprises all around. If the burger had been better maybe the place would have gotten a 4! We also ordered an appetizer of queso blanco nachos… they were. ok… they were not bad but not stellar. Try em out! Maybe our palates are different but I wasn’t a huge fan. Overall: The venue is really cool and even if some of the food was just ok, the place is definitely worth checking out! Happy Eating my friends

I will never be back! The atmosphere was pretty cool but the prices and food was not worth it! We had a huge ordeal where our table was charged 3 times for a $ 70 bill! We ended up calling and getting it refunded but it was an ordeal for a week! To me not worth the prices and hassle of crowdedness, other bars are much better.

The staff is always amazing! The pork ramen is good, but a little salty. Check it out!

This is an Okay place overall. I have had difficulties finding a good place to sit whenever I came here, even on slow days. I’ve sat outside many times and at the bar several times and I still can’t seem to get a good atmosphere out of this place for some reason. Maybe architecture? The place is clean and new feeling as well as open air. The drinks are what they are and priced like they are next to a stadium.(difficult not to go across the street to the tavern and have a more relaxed drink) Slow or crazy busy, I found the service to be a bit slow and difficult to find when I need something. I’ve always blamed the crowd but I am now thinking that’s just how it is. You’ll get faster service sitting at the bar direct of course. Overall, it’s ok. Nothing I would write home about.

Food was average. For the price, I would have expected more. The burger was — and I’m not exaggerating — the size of a McDonalds cheeseburger(not even a Big-Mac). Taste was good — but it was all sauce. For a place that bills itself as a «sports bar,» they’re pretty unfamiliar with«sports» here. The bartender — in charge of TVs — was entirely unaware of Gonzaga-Arizona basketball(«local» for all intents and purposes) and the SEC Championship football games both on. They have reaalllly crappy speakers — so the sound is LOUD, tinny, and all treble. I’ll avoid this place at all costs in the future. With Elysian Fields and The Lodge both nearby, they better have a screaming deal on their rent here if they’re going to stay open long.

Overpriced tiny portions of glorified mediocre food. Ambiance is nice if you’re into the modern industrial look. Outdoor firepit is beautiful. But if you’re looking for a satisfying meal, this is one to SKIP.

I watched the Munchies YouTube video of Josh Henderson and enjoyed it. It was real and raw. You won’t see footage like that on Channel 4, 5, 7, 9, or 13 due to censorship and content. It’s what brought me to his restaurant. I liked sitting at the bar. I received excellent service. The silverware was shiny like they’ve never been used. I had a nice view of the TVs. I received my food in great time. The restaurant itself was visually stimulating with the locker wall to the east and the awards on the shelf. I ordered the burger and substituted the regular fries with gravy fries. The gravy fries were hard to enjoy because it was dusted with lots of pepper. I didn’t finish it. The burger was okay. Quality beef for sure. I wished they threw in some fixings on the side like a slice of tomato, leaf of lettuce, and sliced pickles… I mean, it was 16 bucks for the burger. Rent is high due to the prime real estate location so I guess can understand the price.

I live in The Wave and come here often… usually out of necessity more than anything… The staff is friendly, the food, typically comes out quick though they’ve had their moments… but last night I learned something amazing… first off, the two things on the menu I would get that are worth the money are the chicken sandwich or the burger… everything else to me is over priced for what you’re getting… that’s not to say it isn’t good, it’s just over priced… That being said, they have some awesome bartenders here… Mike and I think the other guy’s name is Chipp(edited, as he reached out) though I haven’t seen him in a while… but I learned something mind blowing last night that will have me coming back regularly… they make their own ginger beer… and its incredible… had the best Jameson and ginger I’ve probably ever had as a result… My knock on them is entirely culinary… its just not my thing… I need a little more of a sports bar feel with my food. I think you can do «good» sports bar food, and they’re still trying to figure it out… but obviously, with proximity and now this new ginger beer revelation I’ll be going back more regularly… definitely still recommend it as a good spot to stop before any game…

I’m still a fan of Quality Athletics, however this is one of the few places in the Seattle area that I’ve found is just gouging when it comes to the bill. I’ve been ordering the beef rice bowl — pay little attention to its normal name, because the dish is definitely a step above your standard rice bowls. However, the meat is far too sparing which leaves you with the sauce, some«pickled things» and the fried egg atop cups of white rice… for a whopping $ 16. A meal that can’t possibly cost more than $ 6 to make. Alex, Austin and Mike are still around and still great as ever — very helpful. And I did just learn yesterday that their ginger beer is housemade — one of the best I’ve come across and certainly better than Seattle’s Own RGB. If the prices dropped a couple bucks per dish, I’d probably visit more often.

Quality Athletics is a perfect example of how Seattle is transforming. Formerly a city of dive bars and character; gentrification and the rapid influx of wealth have quickly pushed them out in the favor of shiny, new, and expensive. I stopped in here before an M’s game on a weeknight. I just wanted a quick drink and a little snack. The bar has a clean modern vibe. Which doesn’t exactly scream«SPORTS». Fortunately there is an abundance of sports themed art work and memorabilia everywhere. Lest you forget what kind of bar you are in. I wanted the Gravy Fries and a beer. Somehow I ended up trying the Seattle Freeze slushy. The fries were great! Tasty gravy and unctuous cheese sauce. But being there alone I spent most of my time looking around the room. Instead of feeling excited for the game I felt like I was in a corporate sponsored happy hour. Then I got my check and was quickly reminded that things around here will never be the same. Heck maybe even their new Über rich fan base can help pay the M’s to a world series.

Expensive sports bar is about all I can say. It’s a nicer space and while they diverge from your crummy bar food, I didn’t get a chance to try anything. I will say their fries sucked, hard. And I didn’t have a happy ending that’s for sure. Instead I left feeling like I hadn’t been satisfied as that craving in my stomach was still there. The fries were not fried properly at all. If you like soggy fries, this is your place! If you’re looking for that perfectly double fried french fries this is NOT it. Drinks here are more expensive and food is on the moderate end of the spectrum. The cool thing is they do have fire places outside.

Awesome location right near Safeco and Century Link Field. Quality Athletics has a large indoor area with big screen tvs and great outdoor area with two fire pits to keep you warm, and plenty of people watching to keep you entertained. The food was decent, albeit, overpriced. The spicy duck wings had a good kick to them, but the portions left a lot to be desired. The $ 12 pitchers were a good deal. Overall, a good pre-game spot or place to watch the game near the stadium should you not have tickets.

Spectacular location! You are right on the corner entering all the sports stadiums. Great outdoor patio with two huge fire pits are just welcoming you to come inside. During this trip, we can before a Mariners game during a weekday, so considerably less busy. We grabbed a few seats at the bar. There are no less than 10 TVs in the restaurant. It would be a great place to watch the games if you don’t have tickets. The service was a tad on the slow side, especially since the restaurant was half empty. We ordered: — Fried chicken sandwich. A must! This fried chicken sandwich is truly the king of all fried chicken sandwiches. You know you order the right thing on the menu, when the bartender gives you the olé, «Oooh good choice!» The fried chicken is still tender and perfecto crunchy without being greasy. The honey glaze adds a sweet complement to the salty chicken. I would definitely come back just for the sandwich — Andouille sausage. Yummy smoked flavor. 3 large sausages. Served with mustard & sauerkraut. The sauerkraut could have used more flavor. It felt like it was lacking something. Overall, a pretty limited draft beer selection. Just 6 beers on tap. But I guess during game day, you don’t need a whole bunch of options! I definitely liked the layout of the restaurant and the spacious patio area. The fire pit looked perfect for those cold Seattle nights. Will definitely be back for game day.

I’ve walked by Quality Athletics many, many times on the way to CenturyLink. And each time I pass I’ve thought to myself, «I need to try that place.» Of course, I never bothered to read the Unilocal reviews which might have turned me away. In hindsight, I’m glad I didn’t or I might have bailed on the whole attempt. But after a very pleasant experience I am comfortable saying that QA is a good bar, with unique and tasty food that clearly suffers from inconsistent and shoddy service. I can see how is place might disappoint. The staff is friendly but do seem to get overwhelmed. I didn’t have any issues but it’s clear you need to be prepared for anything when you go. Still, I found the venue itself and the creativity of the menu make up for any other shortcomings I might have experienced. I value and appreciate good service. I’m paying to dine out after all. But Quality Athletics is a good bar that deserves a shot. Give it one, or maybe two.

Quality Athletics has a unique concept for a sports bar so in that regard it needs a tip of my head for being original. They kind of make a fusion between your typical sports bar and the ancient Olympic Games. There are two big cauldrons of fire as you enter into the place which definitely catches your attention. The food? Well. it was just fair. I got the fancy Ramen Noodles /Phở type dish. The taste was very strong and none too mild. A few months later I went to another Ramen joint which proved to be more authentic and enjoyable. The service? It was kind of slow to be completely honest. It was always friendly but the place was not all that busy. We went in there on a weekday yet somehow we did not get speedy service and I am not entirely sure. Overall the experience was just fair.

Just what Seattle’s stadium center needed — a NICE place to go get quality food and watch the game! Your feet don’t stick on the ground when you walk in(yet…). There is usually a line to get in during game day but it goes quickly. We’ve come here to prefunk before Hawks games, and even come here to watch the game! Service is always great, food delicious. We’ve had the wings and loved them — be advised they are not traditional wings, they are the bigger piece of the leg from the bird and don’t have a ton of breading. They are delicious! I’ve had the chicken sandwich, which is also delicious, the butter lettuce salad(one of my favorites in the city!), and the hand cut fries. All the food was tasty. The bathroom situation sucks — they only have 4 single stalls which backs up pretty quick(they are unisex).

Came here for a Wave event for bingo and staff was great. Atmosphere is great and the food samplers were very tasty. I’m not sure why the other reviewers gave low ratings. The food is a step above Applebee’s. Had the fried chicken sandwich and fries and it was very good. Drinking atmosphere is good too and they have large fire pits outside rain or shine. The TV screens are pretty cool there too.

I think most Unilocalers would agree that food here is good here. My portchetta sandwich was quite awesome in fact. Maybe it had a bit too much sauce but I was able to easily get some off of it with a knife but other than that, it was fantastic. Fries were… fries(always yummy). Service was alright. Not very memorable in a good way. Host and waitress weren’t particular mean or nice. Our seats were arranged kind of funny but once we sat down, it was alright. When you come in, youau notice that the seating area may look a bit odd. For such a big place, it appears like they are wasting space. It was a tad bit loud but I gues it is expected at a sports bar. Prices were high for the type of food offered but as mentioned food tasted great. Recommended if you’re in the area. They take Amex!

Not your typical sports bar fare — very unique menu that spans just about every genre you can think of — French, Mexican, Japanese, Creole, you name it. Highlights for me were the tostada(they were willing to accommodate the veg, and I got it without the lamb) and the salted caramel peanut butter sundae. Both very unique — the latter came with spicy homemade«cracker jacks» and a dusting of nori on top of the ice cream. Weird, but extremely good. My least favorite dish was the tartine — a bit too heavy handed on the salt. They also have a varying list of about five special dishes to keep things fresh. There are a handful of decent beers on draft, but by no means an extensive beer list. For a fun drink, try the«Seattle Freeze», which is a slushy drink they change up regularly. The one I had was a bourbon spiked frozen Arnold Palmer. There is a bar area, a restaurant area, and an outdoor area. We sat in the bar, and service was very attentive and they tried hard to accommodate everyone’s viewing preferences(we came on a Saturday afternoon so there were plenty of games to be shown). The décor is kind of a throwback to a 1970s gym class; trophies, medicine balls, and an unusual array of athlete photos which line the wall on the way to the bathrooms. There are four individual unisex bathrooms that were fairly clean when I was there, but I might not be wild about sharing a bathroom with the guys on a busy game day. Overall this is a great place to watch a game and eat some tasty and unique grub — two qualities which are tough to find at a single spot in Seattle!
