Let’s start with the gym itself. It’s quite crowded before work, at lunch, and after work, and all of the equipment that you’ll actually want to use will be occupied when you want to use it. They have like a thousand treadmills and a tiny weight section. It sucks. Even if the gym itself didn’t suck, which it does, their business practices are shady as hell. Good luck cancelling your membership; they make you go there in person or send them a letter. They don’t even have a fax machine, not to mention email or phone service. Their policies are intentionally designed to make it difficult to cancel your membership. Further, even after I filled out the damned thing in person, they lost the form and kept charging me. If you sign up for this place you’d better watch your bank statement like a hawk. I’d rather deal with Comcast. edit: Oh, and they even changed their name to try to shake off all of the horrible reviews they used to have when they were Soul Fitness. They sure kept track of my credit card number though. :(
