amazing place, truly magical that normal people can get together and have fun, especially in a cold city like seattle! flammable sundays are great, love the gay friendly atmosphere, never thought it could be so cute to see guys kissing lol

Went here on a Sunday night. This place was tiny and reeked of B.O., probably due to being filled with Burning Man’s leftovers. Also, I was seriously scared to use the bathroom for hygienic reasons.

The #skinnylittleflamboyantdoorguy was freaking amazing. I didn’t try to bribe him to get in and, when it was my turn to pay to get in to the show, he let me! Sound system is incredible and if you know the history of dance music in Seattle, you know this place is a fucking treasure!

REBAR is the shit!!! TOTHECRYBABYCOMPLAININGINLINETHATLEFTTHATFALSECOMMENTEARLIER !!! Dont let shithead dude bro closet punks like that tell you other wise. 20 yrs of honest business vs a tool that dubs himself«TBONE». Sounds like you’re butt hurt that a SOLDOUTSHOWATANAWESOMEVENUE had you sitting outside for a bit. If it mattered so much you should have bought your ticket online LIKETHERESTOFUSTRUEFANS. As far as their staff… they are the most well liked, polite, and PROTECTIVE group of people hands down. If you weren’t allowed in it was either for your own safety because of capacity requirements or to protect the people attending from your homophobic, sexist, fat phobic bitch ass. You are obviously a fn tool the way you talk about the people just working there. I could only imagine the copious amounts of bigotry they prevented by not letting you in. THANKYOUREBARFORALWAYSENSURING A GOODTIME!!! P. S. Dont let that«flamboyant door man» fool you.

Came in last Sunday night with some friends. Did coat check and when I went to retrieve my coat later in the night it was gone. I asked the girl where my coat was and she said it wasn’t her problem as she attempted to not even let me look through the coats myself. I then observe her giving coats to people with no claim tickets, so I assume she just gave my coat to some random person without checking My car keys were in my coat and I had to have the dealership bring me new keys next day at much trouble and expense($ 400). Called re bar over and over next day after 5 and no one ever answered the phone. Went in and gave my information and story to guy at front, he said they would call me no matter what. Never called

This was my first time visiting Re-bar. The drinks were amazing(and STRONG)! The people were super friendly and welcoming. I will most certainly return here again. This place retains the essence of Seattle whilst attaining elegance and classiness with a bit of grunge. Perfect Tuesday night Poetry Slam junction!

Had a great time here last night. One of the few clubs left in Seattle that hasn’t been overrun by douchebros. The staff was really nice and they have an all gender restroom! Yay!

I saw a great show here(decibel festival). And I won’t be back soon. Why? The floor staff yanked a drink out of my hand, saying ‘it’s after 2.’ Which was off by a few minutes, but more importantly: if you’re such sticklers for protocol, tell your bartenders not to serve at 1:50. I understand the venue wants to maximize profit and minimize legal repercussions, but if you put the balancing of those 2 factors on your clientele you don’t have your shit sufficiently together to warrant repeat business.

I’ve always had a great time at this venue from the days of queen lucky and the pole dancing arts of the lusty lady«r.I.p» the re bar has always been a diversified venue with something for everyone I once saw modest mouse here way back in the day this is not for the non creative type it’s not your«normal Belltown bar«this is one of the last pieces of Seattle club history like the rock candy now a trendy hotel and aerospace now Moe’s its orginal name this venue will always have a special place in my hart

Ah I love to go where everybody knows your name. Or, after attending the same event for years, half of the people know your name and a third of those don’t make eye contact half the time. Do the math. But really, this is my absolute favorite dancing spot. Granted it’s not shiny and new but so many of those places draw a homogenous clientele and often feature some of the most boringly epic music Ive ever heard(Trinity, I’m looking at you.) At rebar, the music is always quality, there’s a spacious dancefloor, and the bartenders are fast, efficient, and friendly. Plus, unlike some night life spots, there’s an easily accessible water tap. Why more places don’t offer this, I fail to understand. I mean what is this, California?!

No place quite like it … Seattle underground, Rich with strange, charming original flair, never a dull moment and never the same. Highly recommend exploring the unexpected. Stiff drinks, high quality sound that doesn’t hurt your ears, stellar stage for theatre and magical dance floor for the night on the town. 25 years young and going strong.

This place is awesome! Very different crowd, but fun. They play house music with a live dj! The staff is very friendly, and helpful

Left over grunge vibe. Went to a function here. Bathroom needs some work. The neighborhood is a bit seedy. Some cool bands and shows come here. It has it’s charm.

The Seattle club scene is so often inundated with prowly, polo-shirt wearing bro-types and overly made-up, impractical shoe wearing biddy-types who tend to eye each other distrustfully in hopes of an(undoubtedly unfulfilling) evening experience. Many times I have found myself surrounded by individuals who seem unaware music is playing, or if they hear it, unsure how to move their bodies rhythmically, so obsessed are they with self-image and ulterior(likely sexual) motives. As such, finding an oasis of dance music in Re-bar was fantastic. The crowd is unpretentious and accepting, and largely there to dance. Many hilarious things are likely to occur, such as people climbing on stage and humping it, or the popular game of swinging the solitary red light above the DJ back and forth. Put simply, this club has the highest percentage of people dancing of any club or event I have been to in the Seattle area, and that alone sets it on a pedestal for what a dance club should be. Separate from that, I have found the staff to be jovial, helpful, and efficient, and the drink specials to be excellent, if you don’t mind drinking tall boys of obscure shitty-but-not-so-shitty beer(ever heard of Montucky Cold Snack?). They’ve recently added support for cards too, so the ATM fees that were previously associated with this spot are no more. It’s a bit divey, but clean and there are comfortable places to sit off the dance floor. Long story short, if you’re looking for a place to get your groove on with likeminded souls, this is the best spot to go.

Rebar is this odd gathering of people that don’t seem to actually go together. They have everything from the guy in a three piece suit(covered in tats and piercings) to the girl with dreads. Back again to a gay guy with black glasses and a bow tie to the guy with a trucker had an leathers. None of which smell super awesome btw. Music isn’t the best but it you are high then I guess it could work. Some clean cut ladies wondered in around 11 and took one look around and left. Not even a drink. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this place. Not my jam Oh. And did I mention the furies? Yeah. There are even furies here. The smoke from the incense is cool too

My only experience with Re-Bar is a recent one. I attended Dina Martina’s AH-MAZING Christmas show the other night. Re-Bar seems a pleasant dive and much beloved by LGBTQ+ of all ages. Maybe not the absolute best venue for a show, since it’s hard for shorties like me to see from the back row, but it felt appropriate somehow for a show like Dina Martina’s. My friends didn’t remark on the bartenders or their drinks, which I take to mean that they were perfectly fine but not astoundingly good.

A wonderful venue for live performance arts of all kinds! I come here regularly for burlesque shows, but I know they have a huge variety of events almost every night of the week. The staff is friendly and to be honest I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bad show here. Cash-only bar, so come prepared! Only gave 4 out of five stars because they use some kind of off-brand cola instead of Coke. It seems to mix alright in the drinks but if you are taking a break from alcohol is it VERY obvious. Other than that, a great space!

Went here on a Sunday night upon a recommendation of a local. There was a drag show going on with a very small audience. The performance was located in the back of the bar, which was a spacious area with a pretty large stage. We only caught the last 5 minutes, and we stayed at the bar so we didn’t really know what was going on. While at the bar, I ordered a Stella Artois(cash only!) The bartender lady was probably the most unhappiest bartender I have ever encountered. Because of that I already felt unwelcomed. Other than that, the bar was pretty divey. nothing fancy, and some suggestive art in the walls. Overall, we had a less than stellar time and left lol.
