If you want an awful haircut from a grumpy barber then this place is for you. He actually started the cut by telling me how angry he was that I was a walk-in(even though I called ahead and he said — Come on in — no problem). When I got home I saw a big patch he missed on a simple buzz cut. I went back and he laughed saying«I wanted to see if you would notice». Are you serious? You can run a business that way? I will not be returning to this completely disrespectful mess of a barber shop.

I was really hoping to like this place but I have to tell it like it is. Overall, he seemed more interested in telling stories than paying attention to the cut itself. As a result, it took quite a while to get it done and I ended up with an uneven, somewhat asymmetrical haircut.

I have two little boys, 5 and almost 3. Rick is great with them, they always come out with the cutest little boy hair cuts and they are so proud because they get to be «big boys» and get their hair cut like Papa.

Do not waste your time… This place is never open. Either at a funeral, lunch, Dr appt, seriously… I’ve tried and you can’t find this place open.

I’ve been going to Rick for the past year and a half. I always get a great cut and his prices are great($ 17 a cut, apparently hasn’t changed in a longggg time.) Plus, he knows a lot of great West Seattle history; he’s always good for a story and conversation.

Great place, Rick is a nice guy, and he always does a great job. Prices are fair, shop is clean and inviting, the chair is comfy, and I recommend you check him out if you haven’t done so yet.
