Roger’s Spray & Tree Service

I am very upset with the service we were given. Roger was not honest about the state of my wild cherry tree. He barely looked at it and declared it dying, rotting from the roots up. He caught me on a harried day and so I decided to follow his advice and chop the tree down (which I really did not want to do).
The most egregious act was the dishonest assessment of the cherry tree. When he and his worker cut it down, the heart of the tree is perfectly healthy, NO ROT. I paid him $ 1800 for dishonesty. I learned my lesson and I’m heartbroken over a healthy tree I had removed. All it needed was trimming of the dead branches.
Also of note:
He took much longer than promised to do the work (his climber didn’t show up), and the 2^nd day left our yard a mess. Roger was very gruff, even rude. Normally, I don’t care, but in light of the other things, it’s worth mentioning.

The company truly cares about trees, about their work, and about the quality of service they provide to their customers – and they have a wide variety of services! They are also prompt and really good about cleaning up after they work. I would recommend Roger’s Spray and Tree Service to anyone!

Excellent work, these guys will help you out with all the trimming and removing trees and other shrubbery. Seattle seems to be the place where there is a much needed trusted service such as this. I would suggest checking them out. They have excellent customer service and reasonable pricing.
I would recommend them, fast service, straight forward to work with, and will get the job done to your satisfaction. My advice would be to give them a try and they will become your go to Tree and spray service.

I love that this locally owned company is a big a fan of plants as I am. They’re on their game both with what they do and the prices they have. Conscious of the environement around each job, these people know what they’re doing. Dedicated and hardworking– Expect to see the owner when they come out, because that’s just how dedicated they are.
Great for trees around your garden of getting out those pesky little bugs that like to turn my garden into lace. Give ‘em a try!

Roger and his team were extremely professional and friendly! I was able to schedule an appointment very quickly, immediately got to work upon arrival, and their clean-​up left the street spotless! My neighbors were impressed at their speed and delivery. I’ve already shared their information with multiple neighbors. I will definitely use them again in the future!

Roger and his team did a great job. We had some pretty bad storm damage to a 80ft fir tree and he gave us a quote and stuck to it even though the job required a lot more. He might be a tough and gruff man but this is the tree business not a car lot. His team rescued a nest of baby squirrels and took them to a animal rescue center.
He is staying in my book to call!

Super. Totally. Rude. I called to get a quote on tree removal, and asked if he does that. He countered by asking how I found him. I told him I found him on the internet. He then said «yeah, under tree SERVICE, right? So that means I do tree removals.» In a tone that was like he was teaching me how to read.
Since not every tree service company does tree removals, I didn’t think this was an off-​base question to ask.
I told him I didn’t want him to come to my house, as his tone was rather rude. He hung up on me. Not a nice guy. He is not getting any of my business.

Roger needs a new «receptionist».
When the phone is answered, it’s a grumpy rude old man who is the definition of unhelpful and to make it worse, I believe it is Roger.
I asked him for a quote and before collecting any information he said, «600 $».
I laughed because I thought he must be kidding… I was wrong.
I then proceeded to give some details, to be heckled with rude unhelpful questions. The final straw for me was when he asked me about the state of the debris pile and I couldn’t answer, he responded with «Well that is shit I need to know». Vulgarity wins you no friends.
I see his other listing on Unilocal shows shut down. I hope he’s just being a jerk because he’s sick of getting phone calls for a business he closed, but at the same time, I have to admit, his mannerisms, tone, verbiage and communication style were all rude and just unprofessional.
His google reviews are somewhat more varied, but all the legimate ones say the same thing, STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS GUY!
