This review is based on carry out, and the food was hot, tasted freshly prepared, and we will definitely order here again, or better yet eat in. We had Dal Soup, Lamb Josh Rogan, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Chana Aloo, plus plain Naan. When I called in the order the helpful gal on phone asked about level of spice, I requested a different level for each entrée, and they honored the requests. They included an order of cool raita and a serving of rice pudding, complimentary for first order. The Naan had that perfect sort of crunchy chewiness, slightly charred, and delicious, and the Dal Soup was hot and spicy. I am guessing the buffet will be good, too. Looking forward to trying it.

I went there Friday night for dinner. The place seems quite and they had bar which seems quite packed on Friday night. Anyway so I try their Kadahi Chicken and Butter chicken masala and food was awesome especially their Kadahi chicken, I’m hooked to their food. The server was nice and welcoming. Price was very reasonable I will defiantly coming back.

Really disappointed how they keep raising their prices. 3rd time in two months based off my online delivery orders which is a shame because I do enjoy this place. I hate to be nickel and dimed though. It’s time to take business elsewhere. Thanks for the memories.

This was our absolute favorite Indian spot when we lived in Seattle. The staff(I can’t remember the main woman’s name, but she is wonderful and treats everyone like family) is amazing, and the food is delicious. They do a lot of take out business, but we always enjoyed dining in — quiet and friendly environment. Highly recommend!

My review of Royal Palace Bar & Grill(caveat: it’s somewhat unconventional) Last night, as I was walking through Seattle to my parking garage, a lady approached me on the street. She was cold and hungry. I never carry cash, so whenever this happens, I offer to buy whoever approaches me a warm meal. Royal Palace was right across the street so we went there. I walked in, and was greeted warmly by Navi(the restaurant’s proprietress), whereupon I told her I would like to order a meal for this lady, pay and leave. As I reached in my backpack for my wallet, I frantically realized it wasn’t there. My wife can attest to the fact that when it comes to my wallet, cell phone, and car keys, I’m a bit of a klutz. This quickly became an incredibly embarrassing moment — but not for Navi. She sat the lady at a table, told her to order whatever she would like, and offered to feed me as well, if I wanted(I would not have blamed her one bit if she thought, at this point, that both the lady and I were in on a scam to get free food). I left the restaurant red-faced and wondering where the hell my wallet was. I drove home *really* carefully — my wallet was in my study, on the desk, and returned to Royal Palace today to eat lunch. Navi remembered me, and told me that the lady had a fantastic dinner and felt grateful that someone gave her a warm meal on a cold night. I was seated at a nice, clean table, and was promptly served with a fresh bottle of water. The place is pretty busy for lunch, but our waiter took good care of us, as well as everyone else. The plates were clean, as was the silverware. The food was terrific. I ate naan, rice and butter chicken, of which I had seconds smile emoticon. They also serve vegetarian fare, which I can’t speak about. My friend, who joined me for lunch and had a vegetarian dish, said it was very enjoyable. If you reside or work in Seattle, please consider giving Royal Palace your business. The food is great and, perhaps more importantly, the establishment is owned and operated by genuinely good people. Most times when I offer to buy someone less fortunate than I am some food, restaurant owners and managers turn up their noses a bit when they see a person of lesser means walk in to their establishment. Navi and her staff just saw a hungry person for whom a warm meal was probably a luxury, and under(at the time) dubious circumstances, showed kindness, hospitality and love towards a fellow human being.

I love the food and love the service. My husband and I usually just order delivery from here and it always arrives within an hour. When we do eat at the restaurant the staff is ridiculously friendly. I would recommend something off the menu, but seriously, it is all great. You cannot go wrong.

Stopped by today for lunch/dinner. Usually Indian places are closed between these two meals but this place was not. The owner/waitress was super nice! She paid extra special care to us-I felt like we were eating in her home. Lovely.

AVOIDTHISPLACE! Ordered delivery but didn’t get food for 1.5 hrs later! Delivery guy made some lame excuse of not knowing when I placed the order. Wuh?! Why does that matter?! Wife was starving waiting for the food while stuck at SCCA getting a transfusion and I couldn’t help because they said the delivery guy was«on his way.» Food was at best average. Daal soup had very little lentil in it.

EXTREMELYRUDEBEHAVIOR. Delivery can take anywhere between 1.5−2 hours and can be cancelled. My card was charged for a no-show, and when I asked for a refund through eat24, the manager blatantly lied that the food was delivered. The lady at the restaurant can be abusive. I have never seen this experience from anyone in the hospitality industry or even from any decent human being. The food is average but you do not want to eat at a place that does not know how to treat its customers or have basic etiquettes.

We came into the restaurant and were warmly greeted. The owner gave us a complementary appetizer and chia tea. We had the lamb vin da lol and lamb coconut curry. The food and service was great.

Surprised at how yummy it was and how quickly it came via delivery. My naan didn’t come with that yummy green dipping sauce, but other than that, great! I’m actually ordering again right now. Cold frosty nights always call for Indian food. Yum. I’ve only ordered delivery, so I can’t say what the actual restaurant is like!

This place is as much as you can expect from an Indian buffet. The food is pretty solid, and sits well in your stomach too. The owner is a lovely lady who is very nice, she always offers things such as fresh bread and chai. Really love the service.

We ordered dinner from here through Eat24 and we were pleasantly surprised. I’ve passed by this place everyday, but never bothered to try it until we saw it on the Eat24 app. We ordered a chicken coconut curry(comes with basmati rice) and some garlic naan. This, and some extra rice came out to $ 20(thanks, free delivery!) Overall, this is no Cedars in the U-District, but it’s still satisfying on a chilly day.

I have so many good things to say about this restaurant. The service consists of the kindest and most friendly staff I have encountered in Seattle. The food was absolutely delicious(especially the Kulfi for dessert). This was also the most affordable Indian food I’ve ever seen. I look forward to a return trip.

In the year that I’ve been coming year regularly, I have not yet been disappointed. Don’t judge it on unassuming old brick exterior, come in and try the most flavorful food in South Lake Union. Everything is great, but I particularly recommend the Shahi Korma and the Coconut Curry. The entire menu is reasonably priced, but the lunch buffet is an amazing deal. The lunch buffet is all you can eat and cheaper than anything else in the area. The staff is warm, accommodating, and friendly. They know us now, and will sometimes surprise us with some pakoras or dessert on the house.

Awesome food. We have been there at least half a dozen times and the food has always been great. The hostess is always nice and friendly. The $ 25 dinner dine-in is an amazing deal. You get starters, 2 drinks, 2 desserts, 2 main courses with a Naan and some rice. All for $ 25! So a thumbs up to Royal Palace!

Their Butter Masala is pretty darn good. Combined with the Garlic Naan and it is a filling and great meal. While it is not the best Indian food I have ever had, so far it is my favorite in Seattle. The delivery service is reasonable and does not take too long to arrive, which is great for when you are craving some curry but are too lazy to leave the apartment. I have gotten delivery from here twice now, and both times the experience was enjoyable.
