SAM Gallery

Take the family on a rainy day. This is a great place to spend a few hours. It has a few floors of great exhibits. Some are temporary and some are always around. It’s easy to do in one day.
The staff is great if you are planning on going 3 or more times in one year check out the memberships. Well worth it and you can get into numerous other museums around the country with a membership to the SAM

Very very beautiful. We truly enjoyed the Disguise exhibit. Just looking at all the different cultural things. My children were truly amazed as was I. We truly enjoyed our self. It was I believe $ 162 for the 4 of us to get in.

The SAM Gallery is located at the back of the gift shop, at street level near TASTE. I had no idea it even existed until one day recently, killing a little time downtown, I wandered through the gift shop and stumbled upon the gallery.
While looking at the paintings, I noticed you could rent them… interesting! I will have to keep that in mind!
Then I came across a piece I just loved, but the info wasn’t up yet. The gallery staff was very pleasant and helpful without being pushy at all. They found the info for the piece (just received), and upon learning about the perks of membership (0% financing!)…I walked out with my painting. :D
Both times I came in here, I was dressed pretty scrubby on days off and they were friendly and welcoming. The interest-​free financing for members and rental options really make having art in your home more accessible.

I highly recommend going to one of the SAM Remixes, so much fun and a great way to see the show. Lots of drinks, and crafts and usually tons of dancing. It does sell out quick, but Such a fun time!
