John is very good in what he does and his knowledge in coins is the highest. Very helpful in what your needs are and also very fair in selling or buying either current or older coins. The place is not like going to a restaurant, so what you see is what you get. If you don’t know what you have, John is willing to help you understand.

As a long time precious metals’ investor I have purchased bullion coins in many shops both here and in California. I have found the Seattle Coin Shop the best. Its owner has always been honest, consistent, fair, and good in pricing. The atmosphere is low key, comfortable and professional wherein I feel that my goals are number one, never feeling pushed for a sale.

Have dealt with John on Multiple occasions, have been in the shop for hours on end and NEVER once have I seen or experienced anything but honest and good straight business.

I can’t say that I’m impressed. The customer service is off key completely. No warm welcoming nothing. The person at the front desk told me the coins my dad has no value. But in looking them up on line and taking them to another dealer one of the coins alone was worth 5k. I won’t be back.

John’s the best — always more than fair with melt value and so infomative with collectible coin values. I dunno who Joesph H. is but he’s nuts — disregard that review! I drive 45 miles to come to Seattle Coin to sell jewelry, gold, sterling, coins etc. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks John!

Terrible customer service. The owner puts himself before the customer. I will NEVER return to this shop. Do yourself a favor and avoid these guys at all costs. I am an easy guy to get a long with and this guy really set me off. He will be out of business in no time… No question.
Edit: went back for a second visit and they were slightly nicer. Still a little cold but I do appreciate that they allowed my business this time. I will try again and come to a final conclusion.
