Seattle Public Library – Rainier Beach Branch

I use to visit this library every other day or something like that when I was in middle school and on the way back home. For the most part, it’s pretty quiet. There can be some people who really aren’t there to study or read, but to mess around. The staff are incredibly helpful here. They’re really nice and willing to go out of their way to help you out. I had asked one person about where I could find a scanner nearby (because they unfortunately were not offering that service at the time). He went ahead and called several places to ask about scanners. Very nice!
Personally, I think every account should have a limited amount of free printing like the King County Library system. Unfortunately, SPL probably can’t afford it.
The selection of books here are decent. Though to be honest, I rarely just browse. I usually put my books/​movies on hold and then I just pick them up at this branch! I mean we’ve paid so much tax (Washington has the highest sales tax!!) that it only makes sense we should take advantage of such free services!

Great location for a library, staff all seem friendly and knowledgeable, computers are almost always in working order and the selection is great for a smaller branch.
Décor is nice, and the tables and other areas are always clean.
Parking can get a bit tricky, the lot is smallish/​oddly shaped.
