I went there for the first time, and couldn’t be more happy with my experience. I will defiantly be going back. Their prices are very good for what you get. This place is way better than your average consignment store!

Not sure how this place earned a five star rating. The quality/brands of the items are no better than any other kids resale shop. Items are faded/have pilling etc. They were trying to sell a muslin swaddle blanket for $ 7, even though it was labeled as having holes in it. Everything was amazingly overpriced. Used items for the same price as brand new sale items in most stores. $ 5 onesies, $ 10 baby tops, no thanks. Very limited selection in their tiny store. Parking was hard to find.

I love Sela’s — we get at least 60% of our clothes for our son here. I love being able to buy really quality brand names(Hanna, Petit Bateau, Mini Boden, etc.) for far less than full price. The clothes are in very good condition, and you don’t have to comb through racks of poor quality/stained clothes to find gems. Plus, the staff is nice and helpful, and will help you locate something specific if they can(swimsuit, special occasion, etc.).

This quaint little store sure can pack in a lot of great goodies for my babe! It’s reasonably priced for the high quality of lightly used items they sell. I KNOW that I’m not going to have to go through racks of junky stuff when I come here; instead, the clothes have been carefully selected already. The best thing about them though? Their return policy is unbeatable. Simply take it back if it doesn’t work out with tags intact. No time limits. No questions asked. Second best thing about them? They’re across from Macrina:)

Unlike many kids consignment stores in the area Sela’s Small Coutour is flawlessly organized and clean. I went in for the first time today and the gal working was genuinely friendly and I found some great deals. The items are all very nice and reasonably priced. If you’re looking for $ 2 – 3 finds this is not the place for you, but if you’re looking for higher quality items at a bargain price this place is perfect. I’m sure I will be back here often shopping for my newborn and 5 year old!

Wow, I am so grateful for this place! Bonus points that it’s in walking distance from my house. They are super picky about the brands and quality of clothing they’ll accept from sellers so you know you won’t be wasting time digging through a bunch of junk in hopes you’ll find something good. The staff is so cute and friendly. I pretty much only shop the baby selection which is always adorable. It is rare that I walk out of that place empty handed. Which is saying a lot because I stop by at least twice a week!

I discovered this gem through an ad on Facebook. Thank you Facebook! Stopped in today and have decided that this is my favorite kids resale shop. Such a cute place! Esthetically pleasing, looks more like a boutique than a second hand store. There is also a small play area and also a public restroom with a changing table. I thought the selection was great and the labels top notch. Because they look for higher end labels, there are some unique pieces here. I saw everything from Baby Gap to Peek to Mini Boden to some unique European labels. The gal at the counter was super friendly and helpful. She was very patient considering my indecisiveness between a Storksak Emily diaper bag(for $ 35) and a Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag(for $ 45). $ 35 was quite the deal on my new-to-me Storksak bag! The awesome thing about this store is that they take returns with no time limit. How awesome is that? You will never be stuck with something your kiddo can’t use. If you have things to sell, you don’t have to make an appointment and someone is always available to buy during business hours. They offer payment by check, or store credit for more than you would receive otherwise. They also buy for all seasons at all times. No piling it all up to wait for the appropriate season! I honestly have nothing negative to say about Sela’s Small Couture. I’ll definitely be back!

It’s a small store but I pop in about every 3 weeks and the inventory turns over enough that I always find something. High-end labels for low-end prices – love it!

This place is pretty small, but has a decent selection, especially of baby-toddler clothes. They only buy quality labels and selling there is easy and on the spot. They almost always buy the things I bring in and the store credit option is great. It is difficult to find clothes for older kids, especially boys ages 5+. Also, items are decently priced, but most are right around the $ 10 mark, so don’t go there looking for steals. Go there looking for gently used, high quality clothes.

Very friendly staff and high quality consignment items. The selection is quite small, but that is only because they are so particular about what they take in. Still, I wish there was a bit more to choose from. Great value for boutique babywear, though.

I have to be honest. I have never been able to find anything for my 2 year old son at a consignment sale or at another children’s consignment or resale clothing store. I have found some good items for my son at Sela’s Small Couture with brands like Nautica, Polo, Hanna Andersson, and LL Bean. As well, I am having so much fun with dressing my 6 month old baby girl up in brands like Janie & Jack, Hanna Andersson, and Baby Ugg Booties that I have bought at good prices at Sela’s Small Couture. And there was even a Red Jacadi Paris toddler sweater that I splurged on for my baby girl to wear in the future. As well, I have always taken the credit instead of the cash for the items that I have brought into them, because there was something there that I wanted to buy. I have been raving about Sela’s Small Couture to my friends.

I love being a Grandma and I love this store. It is full of very gently used or sometimes unused clothing and shoes for babies, toddlers and older children. You have to be open to the array and be willing to look through racks to find what you want but when you do the price is RIGHT! Shoes are one of a kind and high end. If you do make a mistake in the size they will take things back for cash or store credit. What a great find!

I was recently in a pinch to buy some gifts for my 4 year old niece, and Sela’s came to the rescue. I was able to purchase a high end jacket and some amazingly cute, never worn, pink boots for a great price. The staff was very helpful and the selection was fantastic. There’s a little play area for kids to keep busy while you shop, too. I’m a die hard surplus/outlet/Nordstrom Rack kind of shopper who likes to find good brands and quality merchandise at better than retail prices. If you’re like that at all, I imagine you’ll like Sela’s. Keep in mind that Sela’s inventory is chosen for quality, so even if something is marked down quite a bit, it might not be super inexpensive, but it will be a super value!
