Pay attention to your invoices. I have used this service for 9 weeks, and there will not be a 10th. The kicker was the latest delivery which SPUD did not pack a very expensive meat purchase, which of course I was charged for, as well as not receiving a refund on the glass container and freezer bag deposits from the previous week. The freezer bags are $ 3.50 a piece, and containers $ 1.75. At 7 bags and 20 glass containers, as well as over $ 30 in meat, I am owed a bit of money. I called immediately(as usual… this isn’t the first time with SPUD) following delivery, got voice mail. I have sent an email and filled out the 100% satisfaction guarentee form to receive my refund on the non-exisitant meat… I am still waiting to get an acknowledgement after four days. Don’t buy into thinking you are«being green» with this company, because if you aren’t a guard dog over your invoices, they will be padding their pocket with forgotten deposit refunds. I even tried making it easier for the person in charge of counting the deposit returns by inserting a large sheet of paper with Sharpie Marker numbers for bags and bottles being returned in the bins… that worked for just two weeks. Good business concept with questionable customer service. ETA5÷27÷2008 I’m still waiting for my refund of $ 131.48 which was finally acknowledged. My contact attempts(3 this time) to find out when the refund will reach my bank account have only been met with: «At the moment, we may be experiencing a higher-than-normal volume of email and phone calls. We’ll get to your inquiry as soon as we can.»
