Something Silver

The staff at Something Silver in Pacific Place provided some of the best service I have had. I was looking for a particular ring and the associate/​asst manager was super helpful in assisting me to find it. She first went through the entire store with me and then brought out all the catalogs and looked through them with me. She spent nearly an hour searching. She then called 2 stores and asked if they had anything like the description i had requested. As she was waiting for the email response, she requested mine so that I didn’t have to wait any longer. About 15 minutes later i received an email with photos of the potential ring and they found it! She then had the store hold it for 7 days until I could get over there to pick it up. Thanks Lori you should get a raise!

Great place to go when you need to find a gift, especially for family members.
Los of charms, necklaces and bracelets. This is perfect if you want to buy a nice gift but not go over budget. The store clerk Robin, was very helpful in helping me find the right gift while staying in my budget.
Some of the items are a little artsy in my opinion, but again good jewelry especially for 20 — 30 something’s.

Simply put: nope.
The clerks at Pacific Place are rude, condescending & could care less you’re present. UVillage clerks were more interested in their convo than answering simple questions. I won’t step foot in Bellevue store after that. Many of the products are lesser quality for the cost, and I found that you cannot be assured the gemstones or products are conflict free, after I inquired. Think of small children assembling your marcasite encrusted hoops.
I’m allergic to mixed metals and got fooled here with a purchase, and sadly, a gift. And returns are not going to happen as other reviewers said, even with false advertising.
I gave them much more patronage than my «3 visits til review» rule, and yet they never climbed the star chart to beyond a 1 – 1.5.
Hellllooo ebay/​amazon and an upcoming trip to Bali for appropriate priced sterling without the attitude.

I went to Something Silver looking for a pair of big hoops, the kind that are thicker at the bottom instead of the same width throughout. I opted for Something Silver because I wanted to ensure that the posts were nickel — free and the earrings weren’t plated. I figured the employees at a specialty store would have better product knowledge than at, say, Macy’s. I’ve had good luck at other SS locations and stopped into the Pacific Place location for the first time today.
First off, I couldn’t find anything except for one pair that was too small! I found other cute stuff, and even a couple pieces I’d consider coming back for, but I did not find what I was looking for. Seems ridiculous that they carry such a limited selection of plain silver hoops. Secondly, the customer service was nonexistent. The girl working did not acknowledge me the entire time I was in the store, which was 10 — 15 minutes. She was helping one guy pick out a gift when I came in, greeted other customers, and I even saw her look at me, but she never greeted me or asked if I needed help. If she’d assisted me I may have been willing to settle for not quite what I was looking for, but since she ignored me I walked out without purchasing anything.
Several other reviews note their «no refunds» policy, so make sure you really love what you get. Simply Silver also carriers some gold and other non — silver jewelry, which I find odd. I think you can also get polishing cloths and jewelry care items here. I may come back to this SS but only if I absolutely exhausted all my other options.

Don’t support this store. Please! I bought a silver necklace for a gift and then decided on something else at another store. I went to return the necklace a few days later at Something Silver and guess what, they wouldn’t give me a refund! It’s their policy to never give a refund, for anything. Ever. Only exchanges. Once they have your money, they are never giving it back! No matter what! I said I wasn’t told that when I purchased the necklace and they said, Oh it’s all there on the back of your receipt. Also, there’s a little sign, over there. See it? I told them they were the only store I’d ever been to that wouldn’t issue a refund in the same form as the payment. WALMART HAS A BETTER RETURN POLICY!!! SHOP ELSEWHERE!!!

Be very careful — There is a no return policy: All Sales Are Final.
Returned jewelry within 48 hours that was broken and store would only provide a store credit or an exchange. Signs at the register are deceptive as they are titled «Exchanges». Not the kind of service I expect in this type of situation.

Charms and amulets, bracelets and shackles, necklaces and nooses are all available in lovely, sacred silver.
And the staff is enchanting.

This store is evil if you love silver jewelry and have a simple, refined taste when it comes to the bling.
Why?
Because they have a wonderful variety of items, stones and everything is affordable. There are a couple of these stores scattered around Seattle. And they all carry a similar stock but do offer a few different pieces unique to each store and some you can’t find online. So if you see a piece you love, you might want to get it now!
I am an amber freak and love to drool over their wonderful Baltic collection. Very beautiful shades and affordable. Nothing incredible, like trapped insects or very raw looking stones. But lovely simple pieces for everyday wear.
And a great collection of pearls. I love the dark pearls and they do have a well-​made mix of affordable sets. Again, nothing very raw or large, but nice simple pearls.
The staff is very nice, not jewelry connoisseurs but they do know their merchandise well. And they know how to make an inexpensive gift look like something from 5^th ave!

I love platinum but my budget loves silver therefore I love something silver. This store has everything; earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets and to top it off some really unique and stunning pieces. I’m told there are a lot of well known names in jewelry that’s sold here, I don’t know many names in jewelry so I’m not sure if it’s true. All I know is I love the stuff here and I always find something I MUST have. The sales staff is always fun letting me try on anything and everything I ask and search the store for items them think I might like. If you are looking for a nice silver piece for yourself or that special someone this is your place to go.
