I came in to buy some printer toner. At first I only saw one employee and he was actually pretty rude. After browsing for a few minutes I saw a couple of other employees who were more helpful.
At the checkout counter a really nice woman helped me. She did a price match for me off of amazon. Then she told me I would get a refund off empty toner cartridges I bring in in the future. I actually had the cartridge in my car so j ran one and grabbed it. She ended up crediting me 3 returned cartridges because she was feeling AWESOME. SO I got a $ 73 toner cartridge for $ 39 plus tax. Really happy with how it went.
I will be back!
***UPDATE A FEW DAYS LATER***
It turns out I turned in the cartridge drum along with the toner cartridge. I called back the next day and they said they would look into it. A couple days later I am in here and they can’t to anything to help me. The $ 75 cartridge drum has left the store and now I have to pay to buy a new one.
These people don’t follow through.

I went in to print some documents. At .30 per minute it doesn’t seem bad, but every process is so slow. Logging in to your email account, and selecting the email with docs to print, should be quick. But for some reason it took several minutes to load anything, and another several minutes to load the print request. Additionally, they don’t give you the option to choose between black and white or color printing, they choose for you, and they chose the more expensive option every time: I don’t need to pay $ 4 for a couple of letter pages.
Also, the man behind the print center counter couldn’t have acted as if he were less happy to see me or care about my needs.
Staples sucks, find an Office Depot. Office Depit lets you mail your docs to them, and they print for you. AND they let you choose black/​white or color.

Worst Staples in the history of Staples. I am a loyal 15 year customer, don’t lie about what you can and cannot do you lazy bums. Flat out lying about services to someone who buys all their supplies from you is atrocious.

Customer service has been getting a bit better in recent months, and there seem to be a few new faces behind the counters. The store, however, still seems to be treated more like a factory outlet where leftover good go to get piled up and liquidated.

Worst staples ever. Out of stock so verily limited selection. Under staffed as well. One check out for 8 people will never come back.

One of the weirdest experiences I’ve had in shopping.
I came in with my BF to get a printer, a chair mat, and some nails to hang pictures. He also needed to print a couple things out since the printer’s dead.
The guy at the printing center was all right, and he printed out what my guy needed from his thumb drive. I then asked where I could find nails, and he stared at me. I repeated myself. He said he couldn’t hear me. I yelled, «Where can I find some nails?» He stared at me some more. «WHERE ARE THE NAILS? YOU KNOW, FOR HANGING PICTURES?» I said even louder. «Oh, I don’t know,» he said, «go ask a guy in a red shirt.» He pointed towards a cashier. Oh good grief.
I walked over to the cashier. «Hi, where can I find the nails?»
Cashier: «The what?»
Me: «Nails.»
Cashier: «I don’t know what those are.»
My boyfriend snorted.
Me: «You know, the small, sharp pointy things we hit with a hammer that go into the wall. You hang things from them.»
Cashier: «Oh you mean mills.»
Me: «No. Nails. N.A.I.L.S.» Still nothing. «NAAAIIILLLLSSSS. Like picture nails.»
Cashier: The light turns on. «Ohhhh! I thought you wanted mills. Nails would be on aisle 10.»
We went to aisle 10, which was the school aisle. All rulers, stickers, Elmer’s glue. Big sigh. Looked at the aisles around it. Nothing.
We walked away to go find a chair mat. I sat down for a minute in an office chair. Then my BF spotted her.
«Hey, who is that?»
I looked where he was motioning. There was an elderly woman, asleep while sitting up, her head wrapped in a scarf at a desk.
«Looks like someone who’s shopped till she dropped.»
We quietly walked towards her because she was sitting right next to the chair mats. As we looked through the different kinds, I glanced over at her and saw that she’d been sitting there for hours, writing letters and had a stockpile of documents all around her.
«She’s someone’s mom/​grandma who comes here all day while they are at work,» I whispered.
We got the mat and as my BF started to walk away with me, another Staples employee walked swiftly towards us, looked anxiously at the grandma, then asked us if we needed help finding anything. We told him no, we found what we wanted, but then my BF said «except for the nails» and I rolled my eyes.
«Nails? What nails?» This young man was going to have a heart attack if he didn’t chill out.
«Never mind, I’m going to go somewhere else for them. They aren’t here, but thanks,» I told him.
We checked out the printers, but I didn’t find an all-​in-​one that I liked that wasn’t overpriced.
I went to pay and got the same guy I had the nails conversation with. He asked to see my driver license when I paid with a credit card, and he stared at it for about a full minute. My BF asked him if he had a problem, and that seemed to break the trance the guy was in to give me my license back.
The receipt was 3 feet long, with a survey at the end and the promise of the guarantee of a chance of winning Katy Perry tickets for completing the survey.
BF: «I’d rather look for nails at Staples then go to a Katy Perry concert.»

Ugh, enough with the horrible, slimy sales pitches! I utilize Staples because as a small business owner who uses a printer for absolutely everything, the ink rewards save a lot of money. But after my HP printer finally broke after 5+ years, I returned to Staples to find a newer model. I had done research online before choosing exactly which printer I wanted, and had much confidence in my purchase (4.5 stars from 1600 reviews does that). Anyway, I took it up to the counter and the proceeded with trying to sell me a protection plan. No thanks, I said. Again, they offer me the same plan, just in a different way. I then politely said again, «no thank you, just the printer.» Irritated, the snarky employee snapped back at me saying, «We’ll just so you know something is going to break on it in the next 2 years and you’re going to be sorry.»
Seriously?! Gross.
They need to seriously reconsider their priorities. Maybe if they shifted focus from sales to actually providing decent customer service their sales and business follow suit!

I stopped by for a good, cheap yet decent, solid construction of a table. It was a simple 4 leg-​ged assembly and relatively easy to lug across the parking lot.
It’s a decent store with selection to pair. The random customer chilling in a seated position can be spotted and staff was decent, slightly lacking in product knowledge.
You’re also near some eating & shopping options.

I had to buy an inkpen to sign a very sad document. When an employee there asked me if they could help me i just burst to tears and ran out of the store.
A couple days later I went back and the same employee helped me find it. They were very helpful and the price was better than i expected.

The only reason I keep coming back to this horrible store is of the convenience of being able to use ups there, until today… Every time I go to this Staples for anything I get the worst customer service and most of the time they have no knowledge of the product they sell.
One time waiting at the copy desk two associates where working and one younger girl was just standing there behind the desk on her cell phone in staples uniform so I asked her if she can help me real quick, all I had was a question about files they can use and she said to me «I’m on break» little did she know, that was the wrong answer. Before I could show this young lady how fast she could be promoted to customer and enjoy a longer break one of the other already working associates stepped in and helped me out, I was so angry that day and didn’t remember their names other than the guy that helped me had a foot tattoo I think on his neck. Out of that horrible experience of entering that store extremely happy and instantly filling fast with rage from their lack of customer service, that was the only time I had a very good experience because once he helped me he was knowledgeable and helpful at the end he apologized and gave me the photos of my newborn son for free.
This is the closest place to my house that I can hypothetically be in and out of the store to ship items with ups. Out of the multiple times I have been to Staples to ship ups, one time in the past I received good service at the copy and ups shipping center and I haven’t seen that associate working there ever since I wish I remembered his name other than just remembering the tattoo on his neck, maybe he got smart and quit…
Today was it for me, every time I go in this Staples there is plenty of parking but when I go in I have no idea why I think I’m going to be in and out at the shipping center. They look like they usually have enough staff over there but they don’t with two people and if it gets a little bit busy add about 15 minutes to your wait time…
They only have one slow as hell ups shipping computer and oh just my luck they lady in front of me had a bunch of questions that Kent didn’t know and his «computer froze» so he had to restart the computer and told me its going to be an extra 10 minutes. While doing that he helped other customers not paying attention to the computer so while it was finished booting we had to wait for him to come back over…
(This part is more the customer but still its an example of how slow some people are) When Kent told her to fill information out he left to do other things at the other side of the desk while I kid you not I’m starring at this older lady while she takes her time chatting away via text message to I don’t care who while I’m waiting for her to finish so I can literally put this up on the counter and tell him its all ready to go, scan and finish and go home.
I can tell this lady has no decency or common courtesy to stop her conversation while she listens to my son crying because he’s tired because we have been standing there for more than 15 minutes so I finally give up on being patient and I somewhat politely tell her «I’m in a hurry I could of been home already if I was in front of you please wrap up your conversation on your phone» and she replies «oh I didn’t know you were in a hurry.» Really? People just love to stand in lines and my crying son just does this for fun? Finally after she slowly finished I gave Kent the package and scan and done and told him this is ridiculous I could of been home already.
I’m never making the mistake of coming to this Staples again, I will drive farther to what ever store sells the same stuff from now on without a second thought.
For the people that have no questions and just need their stuff scanned and given a receipt, they are very slow and if they had a second computer which I see very unlikely since the one they have is crappy than maybe it would still be a decent place to go to, but for now I have to travel farther for ups but I’m fine with that knowing I wont have this problem anymore.

Ugh, HORRIBLE customer service in the copy center! I needed 4 copies of a 150 page document printed with same day service. I called around and Staples gave me the shortest quoted time (1 hour!). I submitted my order online at 10:00 and got to the store around 10:45. They knew nothing about the order… ok. So I explained it again and they appeared to start it. We sat. And sat. An hour and 15 minutes later, I go up to the counter (which we had been sitting literally 5 feet away from) and asked how much longer it would take. The guy (Josh) said something wasn’t working and it would hopefully be done «within the hour.» I asked him to call me when it was done. He agreed and mentioned that he had the number on file from the online order.
Fast forward to 3 hours later, no freaking call! So we went back in and Josh completely ignored us until another associate (much nicer but equally unhelpful) asked about the order. It was done and sitting in the back forgotten about, still needing finishing and boxing. I asked if a discount would be given since it was over 4 hours past the quoted time and he declined stating vaguely, «If the queue is busy…» in a frustratingly «what can you do» sort of way. He did apply a 10% discount when we asked to see the manager, but never apologized or called the manager, stating that he was the manager on duty (awesome). We left the store and immediately contacted the general manager who actually was currently working at the store. He apologized and offered to send some courtesy coupons (oh joy). Ill update the review if those are anything worth mentioning.
So, long story short, we spent the last day of my graduation vacation waiting in Staples for a job that was quoted in an hour. I missed office hours for 3 people who I needed to turn it in to, leaving me to make other arrangements from out of state. We were never called regarding the completion, never given an explanation for the delay, or even offered a simple apology (until calling the store manager, who apparently did sound heartfelt according to my girlfriend who talked to him, but courtesy coupons?! really?).
I would definitely not recommend this Staples copy/​print center! Go somewhere that values your time and knows the importance of simple customer service!
**I have updated this to a 2 star review because the courtesy coupons the general manager sent was basically a $ 20 gift card and an apology note. I do appreciate his willingness to make amends.**

Convenient location and usually has everything I need. The staff are extremely un-​helpful, not to mention sparse/​hard to find when you DO need assistance. Most of the time however, I just run in, grab what I need, and get out, so it’s fine. But if you really need help choosing print cartridges, or software, etc. you might want to find another office supply where customer service is part of their company culture. You won’t find it here.

I’ve had a few interesting experience in this Staples. I went their to get a 3×5 photo printed and it ended up being very difficult. At first the young lady working in the print center gave me a print of my photo blown up so large the picture extended over the edges of the paper. I looked at it and asked her for a 3×5 print of my picture. She than printed it again and handed me a 5×3 print of my picture. I looked at the picture again, and politely asked for her to re-​print the picture for a third time with the EXACT dimensions of 3×5 inches. She than had a male co-​worker help out with the task of printing my photo, and I was than handed a 4×6 print. I looked over it for a second before I realized that the print was larger than I had wanted. I handed it back a final time to get reprinted, and the male turned to the female print specialist and said «I thought you told me he wanted a 4×6 print!». After telling this girl 4 times that I wanted a 3×5 print, she still did not understand what I wanted. The guy than reprinted this photo for me with exactly what I’ve wanted.
I’ve had multiple experiences shopping and printing at this location and never had a good experience. I generally have more knowledge on the products than the employees and they never know where anything is. I had to ask two different employees where the external hard drives were and still had to walk around and find them myself.
I still find myself going here because its convenient to where I live, but wouldn’t recommend it as a good place to shop or get prints done.

One of the better office supply stores in the Seattle area. Lots of inventory. You can actually purchase Dell printer cartridges here (previously they were available only thru the mail).
Also, I am very pleased with the external hard drive I bought here.

I like my local Staples because it never seems to be busy, and as a small business owner, they often have things that I need.
When I first started my business, I went here to have some business cards made, and the copy center blew it. Without much hassle, I was able to get a full refund.
