Starbucks

Excellent service! Came in thinking this is the store I placed a mobile order to, but I was wrong. They took my order anyway, and it was 6 am and busy. I work in the service industry myself and I just had to write a review to thank the amazing staff for being so professional at this Starbucks! Tip your barista!

I have been to many Starbucks stores in many countries and across the US, and it is always the barista that makes the experience for me, whether it is their undivided attention for just a moment, how well they work to keep the store clean for us, or their willingness to ensure they got my order right. This store is one of the few that has totally nailed it! Not only is most of the staff very personable and attentive, but one barista in particular inspired me enough with her service to right a review. I know how difficult and stressful customer service can be, and Samantha really blew my mind with her above and beyond service. She is a rockstar! Super friendly, engaging, paid attention, and treated her job like it was a joy. I will certainly be back to this store; it is my favorite in Seattle now!

One of the few Starbuck’s establishment I will venture for a hot tea and meet up with friends. Not a big fan of their coffee, always taste burnt. Service at this location is always pleasant and I like the friendliness of the baristas.

Came here to wait for a show i was seeing at the 5^th Avenue with a few other people. Drinks were good, but the service was horrible… we are just trying to ask a price of somethings and got rudely told, with a ugly look «i dont know», as the girl kept going about her business. She kept up this careless attitude with every other customer in the store. Thought this was a very uncommon attitude for a starbucks barista.

4pm on a Wednesday
Space/​Seating: 4.5÷5 lots of cozy small tables in a wide open space, plenty of outdoor seating for people watching, bar seating, and lots of accessible power outlets. No cushy seating really, but that makes sense given some of the challenges with being downtown.
Cleanliness ²⁄₅ lots of trash on the tables/​bar seating/​floor that stayed there for at least 75 minutes. They weren’t busy, just blind to the front of house issues. Floor wasn’t swept when they finally did the tables.
Professionalism of Baristas: ³⁄₅. This was a tough one as the cashier was in a horrible mood and let everyone know it, but the barista at the machines was courteous and helpful. There were 3 others popping in and out from the back, but they were focused only on cleaning behind the bar so no interaction and totally ignored the front of house issues.
Drinks: 4.5÷5. As expected. :)
Food: N/​A — didn’t eat anything

this is one of the few starbucks locations I actually like in downtown. friendly baristas, clean bathrooms, and pastries that are actually kept inside a glass showcase make me visit this particular starbucks. seriously, it drives me crazy when I see food left uncovered and attracting flies at other stores. this location is not as crowded as the ones closer to pike place.

I started stopping in at this Starbucks location about a month ago when I started my new job in the area. It is definitely a popular Starbucks with the morning commuter crowd in downtown, but the staff keeps the line moving quickly. Don’t let the line to the front door discourage you at all. I am not a morning person (at least until I have had my coffee), so I appreciate the staff being friendly, but not over the top in the AM. Also, Sara is a rock star. I haven’t been coming in that long and she already know my name and regular order (& I’m not the only one)! Can’t beat that kind of focus on regular business, I’m a fan!

They now have berry and lemon greek yogurt parfait!!! I also got a coupon for a 2 dollar drink after 2pm which i used. I mean, its only starbucks, but I was very happy. When in Seattle, you know… Starbucks… Because why not?

I’m sitting here right now in this Starbucks location. It is now 12:33pm, Jan 30, 2014. A homeless, legless, panhandler on a wheelchair rolled in and begged for a cup of joe.
The barista smilingly obliged.
Today, you get 5 stars for being the unexpected proof of humanity, proof of life, and defiance of stolid capitalism. Thanks.

This is a fairly new Starbucks in a converted clothing store on a prime corner of 4^th Avenue in downtown Seattle. The location is in a mostly business part of downtown, so it seems like the customer base is not as touristy here compared with a few other Starbucks locations nearby.
The space is a medium to large size store. The seating is more of the table and chair variety. There is also outdoor covered seating that is walled in to outline the space that is part of the Starbucks property.
In addition to being above average in size, the store also offers Starbucks Reserve coffee here. They also carry the new La Boulange line of pastries.
My experience here was okay. The line moved reasonably quickly given the amount of customers. I did skip getting a pastry here as I did notice a fly in the pastry case. As a place to lounge, this Starbucks is quite comfortable.
If you are looking to pick up a drink downtown, this is a good spot. As Starbucks locations go, this one is best described as above average in all aspects.

My favorite Starbucks in town!
This place is not crammed as some other Starbucks stands. It is spacious and lots of open tables. Staff are always so nice during several of my visits here.
They have outdoor seatings here, which I think it is useless for 90% of the time because Seattle is so rainy. If it not rainy, it will be windy because this is relatively close to the water.
My complaint is that I keep checking in the wrong Starbucks on Unilocal whenever I am here because there are so many Starbucks around.

You know, I just love coming here and watching them make a cup of coffee on the clover. Which, in case you didn’t know, is a coffee maker that costs more than my car. In fact, it looks like a part of my engine. lol
The store is new and has nice, comfortable seating with a good atmosphere. The employees are also nice and make good drinks. It can get pretty busy at times, and there can be a wait, but this is one of the good starbucks.
