This is a Starbucks, which tells you a lot about what kind of food and drink you’ll get here. What sets it apart is the homey quality — lots of comfortable seating, a small outdoor area, incredibly friendly baristas, and(my favorite!) a crossword waiting for the community to fill in the answers as you wait for your drink.

This Starbucks location is by far my favorite in Seattle and possibly in the world. The décor is unlike other Starbucks, the music is always light coffee shop music(not sure how else to describe that but some coffee shops play remixed songs that are so incredibly annoying and distracting), there is plenty of seating including three large communal tables, one of which is located in an atrium with windows that open fully and an open roof. The size of the space is totally misleading from the sidewalk. Service and wifi is fast. The best thing about this Starbucks is that all of their tables are regular height tables, not those stupid tables that are about two inches shorter than normal height which makes pounding away on a laptop whilst your knees are budding up to the bottom of the table very uncomfortable.

Cute location — great service — good drinks and lots of work space. There are outlets around the walls and a mix of comfy chairs and communal workspace.

Great décor at this Starbucks. The staff is always pleasant, although the old day manager(I think she was a manager) seemed a bit uptight. The new manager is friendly and professional. This is a great place to meet friends for coffee or tea. There always seems to be a parking spot near by.

Booked a business meeting here. This is a fabulous place to meet. Great tables and enough power outlets for laptops. Décor is stellar and outside of the typical drab in a Starbucks. Service was good and of course prices are too much. Parking is convenient with a paid lot across the street at the Key Bank with street parking available too.

Very friendly staff in this quaint location right on 15th. I’ve never had to wait in line ! The staff here obviously love their jobs and are very knowledgable on not just coffee, but the area nearby

This location used to be called«15th Ave Coffee & Tea» and disguised itself to resemble the local/artsy/hipster coffee shops on the hill all while stil serving the usual Starbucks items. That definitely confused the sh*t out of everyone so I’m glad that reverted back to their true identity. The remodeled store however does have a unique feel and definitely differenciates it from other locations. Haha… they also serve food and wine in the evenings! I fxck with it! The baristas here are all really great. Super friendly and they strive HARD to remember your name if you seem like a regular. :) I’ve been coming here for 4 years and they almost got mine! lol Consistency in drink quality is another skill this specfiic store has. At least 98% of the time my drink is made correctly and quickly. If not, they are quick to try and correct it. All in all, this might be the best Starbucks in Seattle! Based on service, quality of drink/food, atmosphere, and all it’s other immenities.

This location doesn’t look like most of other Starbucks… maybe it is because it used to be a Starbucks coverup? Whatever the reason may be, the décor of this location is very pleasant – I like rustic decors! What’s even more pleasant about this location is the customer service. I normally come here to study on the weekends. The baristas who work on the weekend always have smiles on their faces! I like the clientele at this location as well, but I guess the people in this area of Capital Hill are generally less loud and more easy going. One con(just a tiny bit of nuisance), there’s not enough tables with outlets. Many people come here to work or study and stay for hours at a time(I’m guilty). Only the three small tables and, realistically, one side of the wooden table have access to the outlets. The lounge chairs have outlets next to them, but who can get work done in a lounge chair?!

I’ve had the pleasure to come to this Starbucks a few days in a row and it has to be one of the most consistent Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I was originally drawn in by the cool rustic décor, but have been surprised by the quality of service and cleanliness of this establishment. All the baristas are consistently smiling and helpful and the bathrooms(yes the bathrooms) and the lobby stay meticulously clean during the day. Good job team!

I have a love/hate relationship with Starbucks. I am grotesquely addicted to this stuff that isn’t even halfway decent the majority of the time. The quality of coffee I receive from this location is something short of amazing. While it is nothing to drool over, it is by far the best quality of all of the Starbucks I visit regularly… And yes I am ashamed to admit that I visit Starbucks regularly. Location is perfect and the décor just pulls at my vaguely bitter and cold heart strings. Plus, they have the perfect mix of outgoing and awkward staff. Bravo, Starbucks, bravo.

Yes this is a Starbucks, but like all Starbucks locations, it’s the people that make it or break it and these people make it great! They were friendly from jump, were genuinely engaging and above all met my caffeine needs! I will definitely hit this one when I venture into Capitol Hill over any other location just because of the«partners» who work there!

I can corroborate the majority of reviews posted – Starbucks is Starbucks etc. – nonetheless, this location(ambience, service, selection – includes beer/wine) exceeds the average Starbucks by ½ to 1-stars. Never too busy or stuffy. Idiosyncratic variation in experience will exist – but on the average = 3.5−4-stars overall.

A Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks. But, this Starbucks is pretty nice for a Starbucks.(Tongue twister much). Décor: The décor is super interesting from papers on the wall to pictures hanging. It just gives it an interesting feel… almost less commercialized/chain-like. The menu is written on chalkboards rather than the usual way. It has a more independent feel. Service: The service here is super nice. The people are genuinely nice and pretty quick. This location isn’t as crowded as some others and has a relaxed vibe. Seating: There is a great assortment of seating from tables to comfy chairs to outside seating. The type of seating you want is the type of seating you will get! Anyway, nice design and atmosphere! A good place for some laptop chilling.

This Starbucks is one of the coolest looking stores I’ve seen in Seattle. It has very dark rich tones, funky light fixtures, and cool furnitures. The setup of the open beans reminds me of Roy Street Coffee Shop(also a Starbucks in disguise). Most Starbucks I’ve seen do not have this setup, and I like it. The food is also openly displayed behind a sheet of glass, and not in a food case like most Starbucks. The staff here were super nice. I find the entrance to be a bit odd since it is very narrow, though.

The coffee was Starbucks, nuff said there. However, I do like to review the location, because as a graduate student, I spend a lot of time working from coffee shops. I liked this location. The baristas were super friendly. There is one long table, and a few smaller tables/comfy chairs. The access to power outlets left something to be desired, and in fact, all of the computer people ended up crowding one end of the big table — a little awkward. The bathrooms are clean, though the do need the code to get in. Street parking is a bit of a challenge, but if you head north towards the park, there are some unregulated street spots. I would definitely come back to this location!

Cute location with an off-the-beaten path feel. This is a calmer/quieter neighborhood Starbucks, almost the opposite of the buzz/volume at the Olive Way location. Great for working. As one of Starbucks’ coffee & tea concepts, the looseleaf tea bar is visually appealing and several Starbucks reserve coffees are available as well. Has an adorable enclosed patio room — really quite a nice feature. Store mgr. Tamsen(sp?) was a pleasure to meet and recommended the delicious Nicaragua Diamond iced on the Clover. Serves liquor & wine.

A great Starbucks location if you have to hit the books. Vintage décor, standard Starbucks coffee, free WiFi, and good table space + plush chairs allowed me to stay focused for a solid few hours. Surprised to see they offer wine and beer as well.

For a Starbucks this place isn’t so bad. Yes they charge too much for coffee that is better elsewhere on The Hill but you’ve got free WIFI, lots of tables and space to do work, host meetings or just sit and relax. I do wish the power outlets were easier to find as most of the communal tables are on the middle of the room, away from the walls. Glad they also serve loose leaf teas, wine and beer!

I knew this was a Starbucks before it opened– I had to read all the promotional packets Sbux was sending to stores to announce its opening, and as a Sbux employee at the time, I knew of the corporate ownership long before a lot of my friends did. As someone who no longer works for them, I don’t care who owns it, as long asi get my coffee in a timely manner and I don’t have to worry about potentialy surly hipsterista’s giving me decaf because they didn;t think I tipped enough. Yeah, they use a manual machine– believe it or not, a good amount of Starbucks employees have previous barista experience and do, in fact, know how to use a manual machine; the push buttons are, however, an absolute god send when you have a line of 60 people out the door. My double short mocha was actually really good.
