The Wi-Fi is SO monumentally slow it makes the upload speeds used by the New Horizons spacecraft to send pictures from Pluto appear like High-Speed internet… although, to be fair, one of the baristas commented that they are already working on upgrading to Google WiFi – in fact, he said that they were gonna start to drill a long tunnel down from the rooftop soon. Also, avoid at all costs between 2 and 3:30PM on weekdays, because everybody, their brothers, in-laws, and pets come and stand in long lines – as if there weren’t at least 4 other Starbucks within a couple of blocks, and like 10 other good/great coffeehouses in the neighborhood. This makes it tough to find a good place to sit(especially if you’re looking for those coveted seats near a wall outlet), and a little hard to converse – it gets a little loud. All that out of my chest, the service is decent, and a warm S’mores Tart will sweeten any afternoon :)

I think this location has two Unilocal pages but I am writing here as I use this when I check in. I love Starbucks! I’m a born and raised Seattle girl and I know my coffee. This location in particular has gone above and beyond though. I go almost every morning and the manager, Jesse, always remembers me, my order, my specific reusable cup and comments on my hair or outfit or whatever might be different that day. They truly make you feel at home. I even left my glass on accident one morning and came later that afternoon to find that they had written a note on it and left in the back for me, it made me feel so special as a customer. They make the coffee quickly and I’ve never had a problem that they weren’t quick to fix, replace or even offer my next drink free etc. I love my morning guys and I would say that if you looking for a quick cup early, this is the place to stop. They have corporate hours and open around 5am which is amazing considering sometimes you need to be at work early. It gets pretty crazy busy around 8−10am but has a nice lull in the afternoon. Another hour to skip is the 2 – 3:30 time frame. If these guys ever read this, thank you for a wonderful experience. Shout out to some of my favorite Baristas Kevin, Will and Jesse, you guys make my morning!

This Starbucks has corporate hours and I don’t blame them since they’re basically serving the 17007th Avenue building. What I like about this location is that despite the crazy busy crowds in the morning, at lunch and at about 2:30pm the staff is super helpful, friendly and upbeat. Outside of these hours it’s actually very pleasant here and I could see getting some work done because it seems pretty relaxed. Because it’s not very spacious overall, during the busy times it can get crowded very quickly it seems. Clean, efficient setup and very modern with practically every square inch of space utilized for product display and seating. They have a variety of seating options, from bar stool type seating looking in or out to regular tables and chairs.

I go here every morning any the staff is wonderful! They always know your orders as regulars, very quick and friendly. It can be very crazy around 8 am during the work week. But I am very happy regular here.

This is the too-cool-for-school, Greek(frat boy), Seattle Starbuck’s location where most the guys sport pierced/gauged ears and use more hair product than I do… in a year. There was, at one time, a grumpy barista/cashier who acted repulsed to see you and even more repulsed that he had to take your order. The one great feature of this location is that it opens at 5 a.m. for the early risers, a treat for East Coast vacationers.
