My 23yr old son, Vincent, and I decided to join the painting class /​group on Thursday evening at Studio SODO (Not far from Safco Field). This week’s theme was nature /​flowers. We had the best time and it was our first painting ever. We both loved the bonding experience. The studio has everything set up and all the tools /​paint needed to accomplish your project making it a great overall value. The class lead, Beata, was fabulous. My son and I were both quite happy with our finished projects. I highly recommend for bonding with friends or family as well as corporate team building. This is something we will definitely do again!

Three event-​classes, and I’m hooked! Not only did I drink, eat and create, I met engaging, like-​minded would-​be, fellow «artists» with even less art ability than my own, and, miraculously, we all took home masterpieces! Equal parts laughter and creating make for an evening well-​spent. Once I paired with my granddaughter to collaborate on a single work of art, and it’s now a family heirloom. I peruse Studio SODO’s event calendar and look forward to my next date to create.

Studio SODO gives opportunity to everybody to have fun with their hidden creativity and not to be afraid to develop new skills. The staff is very professional and provide all the tools and provide good instruction throughout the class. The studio space is very well equipped, organized and very friendly. Studio SODO classes are definitely open to all levels of skill. I will definitely participate to more classes to test my artistic skill because «Not everyone can become a great artist but a great artist can come anywhere” cit.
