I really can’t say enough great things about Darcy and Styled Seattle! She recently helped my husband find a new, «adult wardrobe». She didn’t try to change his style just helped him fine tune it with simple tweaks and changes to how his clothes fit. Darcy made it fun and took the stress out of shopping. Having a personal stylist isn’t cheap but it was far more reasonable than either of us had expected and I felt like we got a great value (aka bang for our buck). Want to look like your best self? So, when my boyfriend proposed this Christmas I was super excited until I started thinking about having an ACTUAL WEDDING. I’m a tomboy through and through, with no style savvy or fashion sense, and to top it off I’ve never even worn a dress (unless infant baptism robes count, in which case that last bit was a lie). Add to that the fact that I’m a plus-​size gal with a mild case of body dysmorphia who absolutely loathes clothes shopping, and what should have been a fun and celebratory planning process quickly spiraled into ALL. OUT. PANIC.
How the heck was I supposed to dress myself? Where to even start?!? I knew I wouldn’t be able to attend to my wedding attire needs AND keep my sanity intact, so after doing some research I contacted Styled. Seattle with a plea for help. I was stoked to receive a response from Sherri the very next day (on a weekend, no less) and was scheduled for a consult that next weekend. I’m on a tighter deadline than most brides, so I appreciated the quick turnaround from contact to booking.
Sherri was super nice, friendly, and positive about the whole thing. I didn’t want to totally wash away my unique qualities and just get sausage-​stuffed into any old dress that kinda fits, and she assured me that she could totally find something suitable for me. She even gave me a connection to help with my hair and makeup needs for the big day, and that was appreciated.
Let’s cut to the chase. I had my first try-​on session recently and beforehand I was a bit of a trainwreck. While I had faith in Sherri as a styling professional, my basic lack of vision left me feeling like there were no options that might work for me, and my skepticism kept me up the night before. I’m so happy to report that Sherri TOTALLY CAME THROUGH with many completely awesome options right off the bat. And she had EVERYTHING: dresses, shoes, undergarments, jewelry/​accessories.
Ladies, I totally got THAT MOMENT. You know, when you try on something and your eyes light up and you just know you’re in the ABSOLUTE RIGHT OUTFIT??? Well, Sherri made that happen for me. And what’s more is that she found me items that were completely reasonable, price-​wise. I’m a little ashamed to admit how little I paid for my complete outfit. Other brides would be shocked and maybe want to come after me with pitchforks.
So now I’m just counting the days until the Big Day, free of the anxiety I formerly had pertaining to my outfit (now I’m free to nervously obsess about other details, like me in makeup? Wuuuuut???). My fiancé is gonna have a heart attack when he sees me because with Sherri and Styled. Seattle’s help, I’m gonna look amazing. Never thought I’d be able to say that, and I’m so, so thankful.

Absolutely love working with Sherri Garcia. She listens to what you are hoping for and asks the right questions. She delivers above and beyond! She will help you with the goal you are working towards!

I’ve worked with Darcy on and off over the years and have always been impressed with her keen eye, However, it my my most recent experience that motivated me to write this review. Darcy and I serve on the same board for a woman’s networking group — a group who’s anniversary party draws the «who’s who» of Seattle and the Eastside. I started thinking about what I was going to wear months before but hadn’t been able to find anything I liked — enter Darcy. Unbeknownst to me, she had run across a dress and picked it up with me, and the event, in-​mind. She showed it to me the next time we ran into each other and what do you know, it was perfect. Darcy never made me feel pressured to wear it, but the fact that she «thought of me» when she saw it exhibits a level of customer service, and client knowledge that exceeded my expectations. Darcy’s eye is incredible. I will continue to use her as my «go-​to» for event styling and beyond.

I love Syled.Seattle. They really help you find your personal style while incorporating new things into your closet! I never realized how fun getting dressed can be until Darcy came into my life! I hated my clothes and now I have a new love for my closet! Picking out my outfit is so much easier in the morning now. It is also grea to have someone come in and asses you closet, Darcy really gives you a new perspective on dressing for each event that I have to go to.

Darcy and Styled. Seattle are AMAZING! Darcy has styled me many of times for photo shoots, events and more. She has giving me insight into My personal style and how to rock what I already have! I can’t thank her and her team enough — as they brought my tired, worn-​out and BLAH wardrobe back to Style!!! She knows how to accentuate ANY body type and how to appropriately style you without breaking the bank! Anytime I have a «What am I going to wear» meltdown, Darcy boosts my confidence with her enlightened sense of style and professional attitude, and for this I can’t thank her enough! I can always depend on Darcy and her team for making me look and feel Fabulous for ANY event!

A friend of mine picked up a style package with Styled Seattle at a charity auction. She gave it to me as a gift. I went for the initial consult but no one ever followed up. Kind of a bummer since she paid over $ 500 for the item.

I am NOT exaggerating when I say that Darcy changed my life. She was incredibly professional, non-​judgmental and knowledgeable about fashion. I had gained weight and all my clothes were threadbare, tight and — I hate to admit it — frumpy. Darcy not only came to Olympia, where I live, to look at my closet, but she listened so carefully, assessing my personality and style. I truly felt «heard». And then… she DRESSED ME! YAY! With her insightful help, I purchased clothes that are the 3 F’s: flattering, fitting and f-​ing fabulous (hmmm…maybe that’s 4 F’s!)
As a result, I decided to lose weight and get in better shape. I’ve lost 10 lbs so far, and find that the clothes look even better. I carry myself with renewed confidence and feel… well, if not gorgeous, certainly hip and attractive. Who could ask for more! THANKS A MILLION DARCY!!! xoxox Janet
