Sue «the Carseat Lady» is amazing! She responded via text very quickly to my appointment request and she was able to offer an appointment time within two hours.
When we arrived, she explained and demonstrated the steps to a proper car seat installation very clearly and carefully, and within 15 minutes we understood the steps that had us very mystified while reading the car seat manual.

Sue just came out to our house in Issaquah and all I can say is WOW!!! She is kind, funny, and beyond knowledgable about all things car seat and car seat related. All the good tips you find on Pinterest, she has MORE!!!
She doesn’t charge for her service, only tips. This women is beyond passionate about educating people on safety of their car seats. She wont tell you anything that is not in the owner’s manual. She just tells you in a way that you will remember.

Sue is awesome! I had had my first car seat (a convertible) installed with a technician at a fire station. Which was fine, but I didn’t learn nearly as much as I did with Sue! She completely demystified the whole car seat installation business and was extremely knowledgeable about all the different types of seats and how they react in the event of an accident.
She also provided great information ie. about when to get your kid into the next step. She is certified, will come to you & works on donations, which are totally worth it. Plus she is a total character and is a wealth of knowledge on the topic of car seats.
