The Bedhouin Oasis

Hey! First review.
I have had the pleasure of eating at this place at a couple of farmers markets. There is something about meat grilled over open flame that draws me in every time. The smell of lamb and chicken beaconed me from across the market.
Chef Mark offers marinated chicken, lamb and tofu to be grilled daily. He also offers and minced lamb and beef kubideh kebab. His use of saffron, mint, sumac, onion, fruit juices and a touch of vinegar is spot on. You can tell that chef Mark cares through the taste of his food. The meat is hot, tender and very flavorful. The meals are served with saffron rice, tomato, radish, cucumber, feta, cilantro, kalamata olives, dates, tadziki and pita bread. It sounds like a lot to go on a plate, but the flavor combinations compliment each other and balance out nicely.
The tadziki sauce is a treat unto itself. Chef Mark should bottle the stuff. I’d buy it.
