I have unfortunately have spent a big chunk of the past year living out of hotels and ordering room service. Typically I expect mediocre food, the trade off is not leaving my room! This was surprisingly one of the better experiences I’ve had! I’ve only had their dinner food options: The NY strip Steak was cooked well and the veggie side was surprisingly nice(asparagus, fingerling potatoes, cherry tomatoes, and mushrooms — I asked for no olives). The Santa Fe salad was fresh and had a great taste. The hot wings were delicious and filling. If you’re considering grabbing a bite while staying at this hotel, this room service will actually leave you satisfied!

Nice place to hang out for happy hour. Tall bar tables by the window where you can people watch. Good happy hour prices $ 4 — $ 7. Parmesan artichoke hearts with marinara sauce had goat cheese inside of them which made them even better. Good value for the food, quick service.

A bit on the pricey side, only a so-so beer selection, but food has been very good every time I’ve tried it. Cheddar and Roast Beef Au Jus is recommended.

10 star exemplary service from my server Rudy. Attentive, fast, polite. Pleasantly surprised by the food quality, above expectations. Seems like this place has improved since the last time I was here a few months back. Great and friendly service, will be back.

This review is based on a number of visits as a traveler from out of town. 1. Great service. The people here are friendly, helpful and generous with their time and efforts. 4 different people, different times and experience was all A+. I never had to chase anyone down, ever. I came in at ~9:45pm once and even though they close at 10pm, I still had a great experience. 2. Food is not«Special». It’s good, simple, regular food. That is tasty. Away from home, at a hotel, I’m not looking for special. I’m looking for simple tasty food. 3. Price is ok. I didn’t think it was expensive or cheap, middle of the road. 4. Great seating, place to meet and work on projects. They have tables, the bar, and these circular seating areas with televisions. 5. Clean. 6. No gluten free menu/items :(. They did accommodate by removing the bread and putting the effort in to clean the grill well. I appreciated this greatly. Overall, I’m really happy with this place. It may not be a place locals go to based on the average rating. For this traveler, it was great.

This review is based on multiple visits. I ate here with my family numerous times for breakfast and dinner. The thing that really struck me as odd is that on a few occasions I had to stand at the coffee area and order from the menu there before I was seated. In general, the service was friendly and the place was decorated nicely. The extra thick bacon was incredible as well as the crispy chunks of breakfast potatoes. They serve Starbucks which is a plus. During the different times I ate there I had a steak and BBQ pork ribs and they were both OK. This place gets slow sometimes so one person may act as the server, bartender, barista and manager at the same time. The seating is a little to modern for me by trying to squeeze four people to share a small round table.

Nothing special! Meet up with a friend for a quick drink. Drink was ok but a bit over priced. Didn’t order any food.

I am not a negative Unilocaler; I looked forward to coming back to my hotel after a long day of sightseeing and having a drink at the hotel bar. Bottom line, I don’t want to have to ask for your name, I don’t want to have to chase you down after a half hour to get another drink, and I absolutely don’t want an attitude from a 20 some year old waitress who looks like she wants to be somewhere else on a Saturday night. get another job Amalie. I also don’t think three drinks should cost $ 30, I might as well stay at the W. Fix your bartender and lower your prices. if you have any questions, message me.

Fantastic restaurant! The staff is always helpful and friendly. The head bartender is incredibly knowledgable, helpful, and nice. The chicken quesadilla is fantastic, though the food in general is somewhat expensive.

11 months after my review someone from the restaurant Unilocaled me that I am confusing Bistro with a restaurant at a different hotel. He/She states they have never served garlic mashed or portabello sandwiches and all their bartenders know what«neat» is. Hmm let me think about that for half a NO. Either the bistro has rogue sous chefs making mediocre off menu items late at night or my group was abducted by aliens and teleported to a different restaurant while we road the elevator down to the lobby. And why is the restaurant 11 months later scouring Unilocal and trying to fix their reviews?

I am giving them a 1 because the food the food was ridiculously over priced for what was received. i should have read other reviews first before going out. We tried to order Calamari and they were out of it. We tried to order a pizza and were told they didn’t have the ingredients listed on their menu. I understand this happens and was willing to order something different and ordered the chicken empanadas and the smoked salmon cakes and they were nasty and tasted freezer burnt and definitely not fresh. We spent $ 55.00 for a canter of wine and two nasty appetizers. I wouldn’t recommend going there. Very over priced and poor quality food.

One of the most modern Courtyard’s I’ve stayed at thanks to The Bistro… good for breakfast(although expensive) and happy hour(I assume they serve some sort of dinner /bar food, but I didn’t check)… a nice area of the hotel to relax, eat, read, watch TV, and have a few drinks… I hope all Courtyard Marriott’s adopt The Bistro — makes a hotel stay much more enjoyable.

Was staying at the Marriott so I went down about six o’clock or so for the happy hour and immediately ran into some folks I knew — small world. Well, not really — we were all here for the same event — So this bar served its purpose as a place for all of us to chill out and hang out and meet colleagues that were also in town. The beers kept flowing and we all had a good time catching up and meeting new folks. Can’t say much about the food because both times we gathered here we didn’t order any. The bartender was very attentive and«on it» even with the number of customers she had to deal with. Nice bar, there are also lots of chairs and small tables to lounge at. I really like the casual atmosphere of this place and I usually don’t take too much notice of hotel bars but this one was quite nice.

Food was fine. The wine list was atrocious. Not a single Washington wine to be found. One would think that out of 10,000 or so Washington wines, one might work its way onto the list here. I’ll probably not come back.

Slow service. Bad food. Overpriced, even at happy hour. We waited almost 15 minutes for the waitress to come by, after being assured when we walked in for happy hour that she would be right with us. It wasn’t here fault though. She was the only person on staff, with at least 5 tables + bar customers to take care of. This was a lesson that just because its happy hour, doesn’t mean you’re getting a great deal. We paid $ 6 for 2 small bbq pork sliders, $ 3 for garlic fries with way too much garlic, $ 6 for 6 bbq wings. None of them were very good. There are many happy hours in the area, so if you’re a guest at the hotel, just venture out a bit.

Great little addition to the Courtyard Marriott. Came here for breakfast both mornings during my stay and had dinner here one night as well. For breakfast I sat in one of the booths that has its own TV and got to watch CNN while enjoying my breakfast. Their selection is similar to most Marriotts and the service was prompt and courteous. For dinner I sat over at a table by one of the big TVs and enjoyed a nice dinner and glass of wine on a quiet night. If you are staying at this Marriott the Bistro is awesome. Everything you can want w/o having to leave the hotel, including a full coffee bar with Starbucks coffee!

I often walk by this place on my way to Trabant Coffee & Chai. I decided to check out their happy hour between jobs the other week: 1) It’s a nice, clean, yet, simple modern bar with 2 screens showing football and airy/spacious vibe. 2) Staff was pleasant, although it was kind of awkward when I finished my food and looked around; towards the bar, the bartendar/waiter sort of leaned backwards from behind the building column and tilted his head to check on me. 3) The HH grub I selected was solid. I enjoyed it and the waiter had good rec’s(although I skipped the bacon pizza dish). I had the tortilla chips(homemade?) & dips and the garlic fries; $ 3 and $ 4, respectively. There’s also the $ 5 tier(which the bacon pizza is in — who would want that… bacon…). Good food! And those garlic fries are above-average and, IMO, beat Safeco Field’s and others. I think it’s because of the(fresh?) garlic-to-salt ratio. 4) My gin & tonic was a bit stiffer than prevous G&T’s I recall. Perhaps Akvile H is right about the stiffer drinks! 5) Nice seating and rather easy to watch the games on TV.

I’ve only ever been here(in the bar area) for Wappow happy hour socials. It’s a cute place, and has a good selection of drinks for happy hour, as well as food. The quesadillas looked really tasty. If you go for happy hour, get martinis. You won’t regret it. :)

Nice little bar on 2nd downtown! Went to the Marriot connected next door for a conference and then went here for happy hour drinks afterward. Very nicely decorated bar, great for groups, business meetings, and they serve food and drinks. The prices are good, staff is courteous and friendly, the appetizers are really great and portions are plentiful! I would recommend trying the quesadillas and the humus platter. both very good and filling! :) They also have really good happy hour specials and they pour drinks on the stiffer side. definitely a plus! I would come back again :)
