Cute spot but boy does one of the owners Carlos have a bad attitude. I’ll resort to Fran’s or All City moving forward.

I love the funky vibe of this place! I was there on a Monday morning, and it was quiet and perfect for working. When I left, though, the employees were rearranging tables, which I assumed was in preparation of the lunch crowd. The brioche cinnamon bun with cream cheese frosting was a bit on the dry side, almost like it was a day old, so I was a little disappointed. Everything in the pastry case looked delicious and hopefully tasted better than what I ordered. I ordered a London Fog(which was fine) and can’t speak for the coffee. There’s a general parking lot right next to this place, and although it’s only for two hours, the employee said they’re not strict on the time limit in the morning. The surrounding stores don’t open until about 11. I arrived at 9 and left my car there until 1, and found a slip of paper scolding me for being there for more than two hours! Oops!

I live just up the bridge from Georgetown and have been trying to explore it more especially with all the newer shops opening up. Most saturdays in the arts building there’s always something cool happening. I went up to whiskey & honey to say hi and pick up some shoes I bought and when I got out of my car(parking spot directly in front!) I saw their sandwich board and was immediately tempted to grab a drink. The space is long and beautiful, they took their time furnishing it with pieces that work well in an old building in an industrial neighborhood. Also there’s a cool stage where they do things like open mic night. We ordered drinks, I got a London fog and my friends both got coffees. The iced latte and mocha were strong and satisfying. I like to taste my coffee, not cover if up with sugar and chocolate. Which is hard finding that balance with most coffee shop mochas. Sublime London fog– sweet and aromatic. I had to wake up this morning just to go get another! Also got the harvest squash bread and was soooo pleased. Whoever bakes their goodies rocks. Also I’m not sure if it was just the art walk and comic con colliding but both my son and I were stoked to see a very cool Furiosa costly there. I think they were setting up to paint a portrait!

This place has a cool vintage look, filled with various objects and artifacts. The drinks are good and food items are limited. Check out the cool board games on the bookshelves.

The Conservatory is a chill coffee shop in Georgetown with a lot of space and street parking. The décor is pretty interesting, with high ceilings and an airy atmosphere. They also have ample board games for those who have time. The dill scone for breakfast was pretty tasty, so I would definitely recommend it. For my beverage, I ordered the hat trick espresso drink(e.g. 3 espresso shots in one tiny cup). Next time, I would probably order a latte or something with milk to cut the bitterness of the espresso. Since I love coffee, I was fine with the Hat Trick but I think other people would have a harder time. Overall, I still prefer other coffee places, such as the Starbucks Roastery in Capitol Hill, but The Conservatory is a cool place to casually catch up with friends if you’re in Georgetown.

As stated before, seating is a bit limited for its size but there is still plenty spots. Can sit probably around 30 people. Its so spacious that you wouldnt even notice it. The coffee is straight up out of this world. There is no other way to describe it. This is what coffee should taste like in Seattle.

Awesome coffee shop in the heart of Georgetown. One of the owners, Chris, is always there when I drop by and he is AWESOME. It helps that he has great taste in music. I was introduced to the Flat White here and it changed my coffee-drinking life. Amazing. My friend just kind of told him what sort of coffee’s/drinks she likes and he was able to come up with something for her that was amazing. It tasted like a coconut macaroon. I wish I remembered the name of the drink. Mmmmmm. The Conservatory is one of my favorite coffee shops, for sure. The décor is very cool and if you’re kind of nerdy like me, you’ll appreciate the awesome fantasy-ish art they have. Apparently they have little art classes/sessions on certain days with live models. Thats pretty rad. Too bad I can barely color in the lines, but I would come just to check out other artists’ work. Do your self a favor, drop by and grab a drink here.

Interesting and unexpected spot in Georgetown. From their website, The Conservatory strives to resemble a 19th century European coffee house and«foster a place for artists to learn, share, create and enjoy an espresso.» It’s a bit pretentious, but the space they’ve created is full of curiosities and designed well. Oh and there’s coffee and pastries and prepared meals. I’ve come here a few times and service tends to be slow, but my drinks have been well made. It’s not the best coffee in Seattle, but I applaud their ambitions and it’s certainly a visually appealing place to get your caffeine fix and perhaps be inspired.

Not really impressed with this place. Hot chocolate I ordered wasn’t hot at all and blueberry scone tasted like a day old. When we got there around noon they basically sold out all the goodies and left behind only couple scones, harvest bread and salami sandwich. Place was cold and they left the door wide open even during rain storm. My friend ordered coffee which wasn’t hot either so I’m not sure where was the problem.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon for the first time with no clue as to most the drinks on the menu. The guy behind the counter was more than happy to explain what was up, chat for awhile, and make me a(delicious, strong AF) flat bastard that was one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. year The interior of this place(half antique shop, half evil lair set from Angel) was fun to explore for awhile. In short — better coffee and WAY, WAY, WAY better service than All City. It’s like they don’t even hate you here! I think I’m a regular now.

This is probably the most eclectic coffee house in Seattle! This place tucked away in Georgetown is sort of a coffee house/performance space/art school. Why else would you find coffee, tea and pastries with partially constructed suits of medieval armor, oil paints and a small performance stage? The snacks they offer are quite tasty. They have a mix of baked goods made by baristas and a few things that are shipped in. All stuff has been good! There is never much of a crowd there and the music they play never too loud or intrusive. Perfect to tuck in and get some work done on a rainy day. My new favorite place for a warm drink in Georgetown!

A great coffee shop in the heart of Georgetown, with exposed brick walls and funky antiques. Try the London Smog — Earl Grey tea, vanilla, espresso and milk. Perfect for a dreary Seattle day!

I work nearby and am in this place every day. They have, hands down, the best coffee in Georgetown. The staff is always just as friendly as can be, décor is great. Be sure to visit them during a Georgetown Art Attack!

Great almond milk latte served up in a cool ambience! Feels like you took a step back in time when you walk into this building. Tall ceilings are lined framed with hand designed wood framing. Pretty awesome looking! Great place to checkout! We learned you can go on Facebook to get a list of events that are held there.

The Conservatory is my new favorite spot! Whether it’s for their delicious coffee(you’ll never end up getting the smallest size, always the large) or their awesome art sessions, this place is always worth the visit for their unique charm led by their incredible staff. I recently began attending their weekly Sunday live drawing sessions and I’m hooked. Awesome place to relax and practice all levels of art. Classes are non intimidating, only relaxing, and open for all levels. They offer a variety of classes focused on different mediums that you can explore on their Facebook page. My Sunday afternoons are forever more exciting.

Minimum frills but has style. I walked in and they had this intensly cinematic classical score playing, which absolutely was great audio ambiance with the minimal lighting… taxidermy on the walls, nooks, books, metal wood, bone. not too busy or loud. Much like its name it drew from the feel of a vintage conservatory. Had the squash bread and tea. it was tasty. I’ll be back.

This was only my first time visiting the Conservatory, which had been open daily for about three months, but already I feel I should mention that it is clearly worth visiting. With a heady and distinct atmosphere and surprisingly friendly baristas, and a regular latte that even a sweet-tooth like me wouldn’t add sugar to. I imagine this would be a pleasant place to hang out for a while, too.

By far my favorite espresso bar in Georgetown and perhaps all of Seattle. I frequent this location(now The Conservatory) for a quiet place to base my work from on Mondays & Tuesdays. One of the few places I can ask for a Doppio Campagna where they not only know to do it Adffogato style but also to offer a side of Seltzer to help cleanse my pallet afterwards for the delicious sandwiches they offer. The staff is incredibly friendly and often add a few extra punches to my punch card. The aesthetic is not only my favorite thing about the shop but really what makes it. The walls are adorned in wonderful art pieces that brand the space with a rather darker persona. It’s definitely a refreshing experience for anyone looking to step away from the bright and somewhat pretentious norm of Seattle espresso bars you’ll find on the hill. I often bring friends here and hope to see some more use of the small stage by the bar. Bravo!

Took a day off from work earlier today and needed to reconnect to urban pursuits… like riding the E to see the impressionist exhibit at SAM, followed by a late lunch at Fonda La Catrina, happen to walk by Atelier Coffee Company(and The Conservatory) also in Georgetown. Before heading back north, had to stop in and check it out. Interesting lighting fixtures and natural light, brick/wood, juxtaposition of guitars, local art, collection of coffee mills, silver tea/coffee service, armor fit for a knight, and even a token Christmas tree, so glad I stopped in. Definitely stimulates the visual and creative spirit! Excellent mocha made by a warm and non-pretentious counter person/musician…for all I know he was probably one of the owners. Felt recharged after a grueling month of feeling like a hamster spinning on a wheel. Skip All City Coffee and check this place out instead!

Love this new addition to Georgetown! Everything we’ve had here has been good– Macrina pastries, house made sandwiches, cappuccino and the glorious London Fog. The owners are super friendly and they’ve done a great job making the place artsy and unique. Can’t wait to go back!

Finally! After driving by this place so many times and then not being open they’re FINALLY open during normal hours! The ambiance is a huge win, the coffee is great, and best of all(dig on All City) the staff is super friendly. I’m a fan of All City, they have at least one of my paychecks. But to be honest I haven’t been back since. A bonus is the plethora of board games available.

I’ve driven by this place multiple times and I’ve always marveled at the exterior. It’s a cozy little place full of eccentric furniture and décor. The bricked walls and dimmed lighting makes you feel warm and cozy. The coffee is also very good. It also helps that the latte art is super cute and photo-worthy as well. Overall, it was a great experience. Friendly staff, great vibes, and lots of personality. This will be my go to coffee shop from now on!

Wow, I was pretty speechless when I stumbled upon this coffee shop. Even when entering, it does not look like a coffee shop but more of an artist’s studio. On one wall is exposed bricks while the other side clean and more modern. I love love love the random assortment of things posited around the room: hunky anatomy drawings on one wall, a stage with a throne in the middle, a bunch of books and board games in the bookshelves and even a dental chair! I had the French press coffee and it was pretty good! Only downside is that it’s lack of seating… I recommend checking this place out if you’re in the Georgetown area.
