The Court At Northgate

I wish there was negative star here … This review is for the staff LISA and TAMARA working for the Court at Northgate. I have never in my life dealt with anyone who is unprofessional, rude and disrespectful like these two women… …It was a total nightmare! I am looking for a 2 bedroom apartment and tried to call the property many times but never heard back from Lisa. Lisa and Tamara are rarely there in the leasing office and they obviously never check their voice mails. Finally, I got hold of Lisa on ¹⁰⁄₀₇ and she told me that there is an apartment unit that will become available on ¹⁰⁄₂₂. So I told her that I am very interested and would like to discuss more details. She immediately goes: «Sorry I am very busy. I will email you the information. «She did email me a link for applying in the afternoon and I replied shortly asking if she could schedule a showing, the lease term and how I should pay the deposit of $ 500. She did not respond until 11pm with the floorplans of two different units and told me that they only accept check for deposit. The next day on 10/​08, I emailed back to Lisa that I will have my friend (as I am out of town this week) to take a look at the apartment unit during the weekend and bring the deposit check to her! Nothing on ¹⁰⁄₀₈. On 10/​09, I sent another follow-​up email and was being very polite. She responded at 3:37 pm with 1 line «Sunday we are not open. «As she did not answer my other questions, I called the office and that’s where the nightmare began— Lisa picked up the phone. I was asking if my friend could see the apartment on Sunday and she told me that they are closed both Saturday and Sunday. And she added «BY THE WAY, that unit is not available any more so there is nothing to talk about here.» Seriously?!! ! I am in the middle of a negotiation with you and planning to pay the deposit of $ 500. On ¹⁰⁄₀₇ over the phone, she ensured me that the deposit is to hold the apartment and she will not rent it out to anybody else. How ridiculous this is that she rent it out to someone else while negotiating with me and did not even send me a curtesy notice that the unit is gone?!! I was shocked and told her that this situation is frustrating. NOTE that I said I was frustrated about the SITUATION, NOT at her. I wanted to understand what happened in the past 22 hours. Before I could say one more word, this bit* goes «I have to let you go! You can email me what you are frustrated about. «and HANG UP ON ME… What the heck!
Of course I tried to call back and she purposefully neglected my calls. When someone finally picked up the phone, I got introduced to another bit* – Tamara… I asked if I could talk to Lisa or her manager as I need an explanation for what happened in the past 22 hours. Tamara barely listened to what I had to say and said «Listen, I do not care about what happened between you and Lisa! That apartment unit was rent out 45 mins ago and it’s already off the market. It’s meaningless for us to continue talking here. «Then she put me on hold for 5 mins. After she came back, she said the rudest thing ever! «Honestly, I am really not interested in talking to you right now! We are very busy and are not going to tolerate your behavior. «What??? Honestly? That’s funny because there is NOTHING honest about you Tamara!
Lisa and Tamara, STOP acting like you own the property! STOP flattering yourselves and thinking that you are even in the same league as me or any other decent human being! You are just two rude pathetic pigs who are lack of manners. I will never in a billion years consider renting at the Court at Northgate because of how you treated me like sh* and humiliated me!
Guys, my best advice is that please please look around when you are apartment-​hunting. There are so many nicer places that offer great amenities and decent property-​management services. Do not stress yourself everyday with dealing with the two horrible horrible property managers! I wish I had taken others’ reviews about Lisa seriously in the first place.

I moved in here a few months ago and I LOVE it here! The management has been wonderful and very helpful! This was the first apartment that I looked at when searching for a home and I loved it so much that I cancelled all the other appointments for other apartments. I definitely made the right choice even after living here for a few months.
1. The units are very spacious and the walls are actually pretty thick. I have not had any noise complaints to make. There are times when babies are screaming coming from maybe the other side of the apartment, but it’s quiet enough where I’m not staring at the ceiling trying to go to sleep. The kitchen is a great size. I had a fridge that was leaking and Ed (repair man) came to replace it in a timely manner. He is pretty prompt.
2. The parking lot is huge! I like that there is plenty of space. I just got a new car as well and did not have trouble finding parking. Parking is free here as long as you’re registered. They also hold packages for you if you have any coming in. Sometimes they’ll have a notice on your mailbox but if you’re expecting anything, just drop by and ask! They will give it to you on request.
3. Mangers Lisa and Tatiana are very warm and friendly people. I can tell they really care about their residents. They express their desire to help everyone and I really appreciate it. They like to put out community events for people to get to know each other which I think is really great since not a lot of managers (especially in Seattle!) are used to interacting with strangers a lot. You guys are awesome and I am very glad I moved in here. All my friends love coming over and I’m telling everyone that this place is a wonderful home!

Wtf is with the manager Lisa? She obviously has chip on shoulder when she is having a bad day. Today alone, i asked her a question and she have me the rudest bitch answer ive ever heard from a property manager. She just pretty much acted like i was a 5 year old and seemed as though i was lesser being, not the person giveing her money every month. The is also a handicap parking spot that some who is not hanidcap parks at all the time. When telling lisa about it, she either rolls her eyes or does nothing. There are signs that say that they will tow, but i have yet to ever see that. She is liar and worst yet, she treats a person like shit when she is having a bad day. All for just a question. I cant wait to move.

I finally moved out of this place.
1. Poor management, they are out of office all the time, and you call has a low odds to be picked up.
2. Dirty. Carpet full of hairs when I moved in, sticky wooden floor.
3. Be aware of FLEA !!!

I just moved in 3 months ago, seems good so far. Friendly staff, convenient location, clean building. We will see.

If you’re a rich person or a family with kids, this will be an uncomfortable place. It’s good for poor college students or immigrant families.
I’ve lived here for the past two years after becoming a student at the U. I was welcomed even though I had a grand piano; they were very welcoming to musicians. They’ve improved the office staff immensely over the past year. They fired the crazy manager and hired three new women who are all doing a great job. The most frustrating thing is when they post the time they’d be back and they don’t come back for up to an hour past the posted time.
I live in a one-​bed with no patio and started out with 750 a month. Due to high demand, all one-​beds have gone up past 900. The neighbors can be hella loud and the floors are no where near sound-​proof.
There’s a decent pool area, where it’s nice to hang out but the pool is really shallow. The kitchen has some shitty drawers but the shower is great. No complaints about the bathroom really.
The roadways that lead to the apartment are horrible, so driving in and out can be a nightmare, but it’s nice that I-​5 is so close by.
