First off, the prices for the decent selection can’t be beat. Most are in the $ 10 or $ 12 range. The guys that own and run this shop are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely want to help you get the best care possible. They want to keep you coming back, and I always do. I can’t remember their names off the top of my head, but they ALWAYS treat me like a friend, not just a customer. Their suggestions about the medicine are the best around and always completely honest, which I really appreciate.
Bring CASH! It is a cash only establishment. Don’t fret if you forget, because all of the major bank chains are around the corner on 45^th.
This is the first place I took my business after being recommended by the prescribing wellness center for being legit. I was extremely loyal, still am, but tried a different place (came well recommended on Unilocal) just to see the difference. They had some great stuff, but it was crowded and took forever to be processed. I waited in two waiting rooms and at Grasshopper you wait 5 minutes, if at all. I’ve only had to wait once here, whereas at the other place I could tell that was the regular vibe. That one star review of this place certainly didn’t take into account all of the hassle and swastiness (I don’t even know what swasty means) of the bigger places. They rush you in and out. This is low key and I would suggest that for someone who wants to ask about the strains and get some knowledge on what they offer and cannabis in general. I want to get my money’s worth and good customer service and appreciation of business gives them my business over others. They are so nice I want to see them succeed. I will still check out other places, but this place in my opinion is the best.
Their edibles are usually really potent and delicious. My favorites are the peanut butter-​chocolate rice crispy treats and the toffee-​chocolate chip cookie bars. I’ve heard that the raspberry crumble is good, but I haven’t tried it. For ⁴⁄₂₀ they had brownies and they were the best. If they bring them back, I will come even more.
Tip 1: Stock up! It is only smart to. These guys are so chill that they will probably hook you up, especially if you buy more. I’ve taste-​tested some stuff for them for free. I’m sure you can ask and they will let you try whatever is new. They really want your opinion when you go back too.
Tip 2: Sign up for the e-​mail list. They have deals once in a while for $ 175-​$ 200 ounces (which is about $ 6-​$ 8 per gram) or reduced price edibles. Almost half off!!! Seriously, how can you beat that? Do big places have deals like that? Don’t count on it. The one I went to offered $ 10 off every 10 visits… please…
